I have same problem when update too and my phone is stock 1.19.707.1 not rooted maybe i think it's software bug

no i still not update it because of that problem so i waiting htc for fix that maybe you can report to www.htc.com

As far I know every one got the update faces the similar problem, nevertheless region, you can discard, after couple of times it goes off. I did the same to get rid.

Lol u have to find and reinstall those files it's easy all u have to do is flash the stock 1.12.707 Rom and make sure u have stock recovery then search for updates which will bring u to 1.19.707 then install then search for updates again and u will have sense five

Well u have to downgrade so u can get the missing apps bk or download the 1.19.707 ota and reinstall it via stock recovery

I call HTC helpdesk and manage to upgrade update software v4.5
go to power, uncheck fast boot
restart phone
try to update again
once you have update software v4.5
after a while you will prompt for another new update continue to update till you rec 4.2.2
I manage to update mind to ver 4.2.2

I received both updates simultaneously in which the keyboard gave problem, but another software update did well and took the phone to the major sense 5 update very smooth, after the update you will find that the viet keyboard was installed automatically.

please can some one help...i need ruu htc one x+ wwe 1.17.707.1...i accidentally updated to ota update while the device is rooted...now the wifi and phone signal is gone...anyone can help or link the ruu 1.17.707.1..i really grate full if some one can help....

Still cant find solution..taking ages for ruu..regret using htc..why dont they just ship the ota along with the ruu
The greatest one x plus support is only for euro ruu..it seems delivered fast...
I used to have iphone 4 when ever i got ota...it always safe to revert to phone ruu..because they ship the same time.. Htc not even have the ruu official support site..
What i think about htc.. It deliver great phone but for support it is not there yet..you are on your own..

My phone also last was using 1.14.707.16 after update my WiFi can't usr...and tried to root again..and both my signal and WiFi gone...can you use your wifi

Hello, there is new update for the S3 device! I've updated and the problem with the camera and the speakers are solved!
Also I think that the music crackling is fixed also!

Well you need to unlock bootlader, you can do that with official htc website, then you need to root your phone and flash custom recovery. After that you can do nandorid backup in custom recovery. All the information you need is here.

I think it's quite difficult for me to do that and my warranty will go away... Really, is there no other way for this? Sorry, I really want to help, but I think I'll brick my phone if do that...

You can try with this tool, it suppose to work on all devices even with unlocked bootlader and unrooted phone.
just updated my phone too. i didn't even know that there was some issues with the camera and the speakers. my phone is having problems with some evil demons inside it, i only hope that this update exorcised it!!!!
isn't there some release notes for this update, so that we know what are the improvements and what bugs were fixed?
it's probably the bugs that are inside stock jellybean . someone back it up so we could use the update copy of the jellybean stock rom but for the hboot 2.11 like me we will have a slight problem dude the different hboot

after yesterday's update, i can say that the problems i had with my phone are gone. i hope. maybe now, htc will start the updates for the all other regions, not only for taiwan.

Try running This RUU when you phone is connected to PC.
It should take you to Stock ICS, then update to JellyBean Over-the-Air.
Hello guys, I have a very little issue after downloading the OTA to install it
You can find the software version details for my HTC Butterfly X920D in attachments and more info also.
JB 4.3.
Simply I checked for new updates and I found there is new updates as you see in attached pics. Definitely I tapped update and then unfortunately it shown Variant system version! as you see in attached pic
I've relocked my phone and replaced TeamWin recovery with the original stock recovery but also I'm getting the same message
You can find a screenshot for my Bootloader and the Recovery in attachments.
I don't know actually If my rom is stock or not but as you see the screenshots guys, can you tell me?
and can you tell me how to solve the OTA issue in order to download and install it successfully?

Dear Omar,
First, thanks for the link for Stock Recovery...
but because I cannot wait for any longer, LOL, I just diggin' arround and find this post and find the stock Recovery.
After Flashing the stock recovery I'm able to install OTA for 4.3, even with unlocked bootloader! :yay:
Before get 4.3 OTA, my past ROM is Stock 4.2.2
My butterfly doesnot use any custom ROM, What I've done is unlocked bootloader, root and custom recovery (TWRP).
