[Q] Can't connect cyanogenmod 10.2 to adhoc networks - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Hi everyone!
I've been using cyanogen since i bought my explorer and i'm completely thankful of the developers, they've made such a great job.
just yesterday i installed CM10.2 (android 4.3) and it seems to work great.
Only issue i have is that I CAN see adhoc networks, but it doesn't connect at all. It tries, and then after a few more attemps it stops detecting the adhoc network.
Is there anything else i'm missing? I'm trying to connect with a linux server via the network manager.
Thanks.

[Q] ICS 4.0.3 wifi communication problem

Hello all,
Today I update my nexus s to ICS 4.0.3 but I can not use the ad-hoc to connect with my laptop. I remember when I used 2.3.7, I could use ad-hoc for my laptop to go internet.
Dose it happen to you?? Or how can you fix this problem ?
Thanks !!!!
Is there an error on the phone, network not showing up on the laptop, or the laptop giving an error when trying to connect to the phones network? Also, what operating system are you running on the laptop? (that might help with instructions if it's an issue on the laptop)
There is no any error on my phone and my OS is winXP. When I update my phone to the 4.0.3 (I use the ROM from "[ROM] [12-21-11]AOSP+ ICS 4.0.3 V1.1.2|Enhanced Power Menu & Status Bar Widgets" )than I tried the scanning function, but it could not show the ad-hoc signal. So I down grade to 2.3.7 than I can find the ad-hoc signal. Is this the bug for 4.0.3 or just only me had this problem??

HELP Motorola Atrix

Hey Guys,Please Please help me,
I recently bought a new Motorola Atrix 4G MB860 phone and as you know it doesn't support ad-hoc connection. So, in order to enable the phone for ad-hoc I had to root the device and install the ad-hoc enabler. I rooted it with the help of One-Click root software and installed the ad-hoc enabler. Everything was cool and it was enabled for ad-hoc, I got my device connected to my laptop's ad-hoc and surfed the internet using WiFi connection. But on the next day when I tried to connect to the ad-hoc, it showed that there were WiFi connections available but when I choose to connect to the network it doesn't get connected, it doesn't even show the WiFi icon on the notification area. I restored the phone to factory settings several times and it didn't work. Please guys anyone help me with this.
Thanks
hi
1- factory reset
2- fix permissions
if that doesn't work then wipe and restore or flash a Rom

[Q] Problems connecting ZTE modem to android device

I have a N900 Android 4.0.4 Tablet Allwinner and i tried all I could think to connect it to a internet modem ZTE. It says that it recognises it but there are some problems.

I installed APN Manager with all the networks but when i try to select my network the program closes because of some error.
Does anybody know how to solve this kind of problems?

[ASK] USB Tethering 5.1.1 on Mac

I know maybe the problem is on my mac, not my Z3.
Using MacOS 10.10.4, since my Z3 update to 5.1.1 the USB tethering wont work.
It's TETHERED on my Z3 but my mac wont connect to internet.
Already tried on Windows, USB tethering works fine.
Try Hotspot, it works on both mac and windows.
Maybe driver problem or something I miss.. Anyone have the same problem with me?
Thanks

[Completed] Troubleshoot Wi-Fi Tethering Android 5.1

I searched for help unsuccessfully. If I missed a post that offers help, please refer me to it.
I have an unrooted first generation Motorola X. It has recently been factory reset. When I enable Wi-Fi tethering and I can see the wireless connection but none of my devices can connect to it.
Windows Devices say "Cant connect to this network"
Android Devices just never say connected
Troubleshooting steps I have already taken
1- Reset adapter (On windows)
2- Rebooted (both phone and computer)
3- Uninstalled and Reinstalled newest driver for PC
4- Successfully tethered this PC to a different phone on same plan using Wifi Tethering
5- Successfully tethered this PC to this phone using USB Tethering
6- Attempted using 5ghz vs 2.4 ghz
7- Attempted using no security vs WPA2
Any ideas what else I can do to troubleshoot this?
