ok i have the sammy drivelink apk for any one who wants it ..i just copied it to phone sd then installed and it works fine..if it works for you say thanks...
can any of the wizards that we have here make this app fully fit the note note screen as at the moment its a tad small ..working but not full screen..many thanks to any one who can:good:

Doesn't resize to match resolution of screen but only loose a small strip down one side so no big issue.

yer i get the same with kingdroid..hoping some genius can alter it a bit for us eventually

Loads on my US Galaxy S3 (Verizon). Weather won't load. Says "Enable location services and mobile data to update weather" both of which are enabled (I turned Wi-Fi off, I have full 4G, etc). Looks good other than no weather. I will have to try more later. Thanks for posting.

Drive Link was doing the same for me since I installed it shortly after Denny uploaded it (thanks btw!). It suddenly kicked into life this afternoon for no apparant reason, so it may be worth persisting with it.
Got to say despite a handful of niggles, I do like it as an in-car player etc. The full screen seems to work fine on my stock note.
Niggles I have found are that:
Media control from my Bluetooth car stereo does not work, with or without the media control app from the play store.
scrobbling to last.fm doesn't work (so my playing stats are going down)
There is no easy way I have found to skip back to the drive now app from navigation, other than long pressing the home button and switching using task manager, which seems a bit clunky
I am still trying to find way to add a "shuffle all" button as a shortcut, instead of selecting "All Songs", playing, and then shuffling.
It has not automatically picked up my starred locations from Google Maps/Navigation
Other than that I like it a lot, and am hughly appreciative of Denny for posting the APK.

word of warning to anyone that wants to use this with mirror link (specifically a sony HU) this on my note caused my HU to boot loop. had to reset it

Installed yesterday and got same issue with weather and location but turned on this morning and working fine. Ill have to play around with it today when get a chance.

You'll find the typical 4.1.2 Jellybean features in a Note 8 UI.
Smart Stay works.
No Multiwindow but the Mini Apps tray is still present with a redesigned UI.
What functions do you mean? Like shortcuts on lock screen? Or the new Power Saving Mode which controls the CPU and etc?

I wiped via stock and my phone is working fine. Don't know if it's safe to do it again. Unlike ICS, it completely deletes the internal memory files[Personal Stuffs and etc]. On ICS, it was only deleting the "App Area" of the memory.

About the brick bug.. i used the gotbrickbug app.. and its still there.. and about wiping from recovery.. i think it is still better to wipe from CWM just to be sure now that we still dont know if it is safe to wipe from stock recovery.. but from what the guy said above.. he did it once.. so i guess its safe? Haha i really dont know..

Well once ICS was released i did wipe and got my tab totally bricked, gave it to service center. Other time i did wipe in cwm and it somehow completely damaged /data/ partition.
Anyway i did complete reset in settings, so far working fine I'll post in case of brick.

Wiping from cwm damaged your tab? In what rom did you do that? Haven't experience that when wiping from cwm..

Graffiti Exploit: I want to know because every changes in Tab Plus, of course, will be implanted in Tab 2 7...
GTab 2's 4.1.2 haves smartstay option but it doesn't works :silly:,
and the Tab 2 have Nature UI since the factory firmware (Android 4.0)...
but thnx anyway...
i think Tab 2 (and maybe Tab Plus) will receive huge funtions (and maybe Galaxy S4's UI, Nature UI 2.0) in Android 4.2.2 final update. :laugh:

One function which I found fascinating is video pop out function. You can minimize the video in the video player and the video will play in a small window while you chrcked sms or email or any other function.
Another is in wifi settings, there is one new option called allowed devices. This will allow only the devices when wifi tethering.
Smart stay sometimes works. It depends on the light source and the camera. If the lighting is on your face and the front side camera can see you, then it works. But very erratic.
There is ablocking mode. If you enable it, your will receive notifications, incoming calls and messages from the allowed list only which you have to create first.
Auto adjust screen tone menu is new
Sound> device vibration is new. You vibration effects like heartbeat, jinglebell, basic, none, ticktock, ealtz, zigzag
The above are the new options that I I found. There may be more. I request all of you to list whatever you found out

[APP] Camera Mute Version 1.5 (11-19-13) - Mute your camera shutter without ROOT

Hi, this is a simple app that I created using tasker.
My Note 3 doesnt have the option to turn off the shutter sound, this is why I made this app.
Originally made for my Samsung Note 3, but I've tried on Samsung Note 2 and it also works.
Basically it just mutes that annoying shutter sound without Root.
Some Samsung devices don't have this option.
Anyways, don't have a good icon yet but once I do have a good icon I'll post in in playstore as well.
Anyone has a good icon?
Now it only works for Stock Camera app.
How It works:
If you launch your camera, it will mute your phone, if you exit the camera application it will restore the sound of your phone.. that simple.
Disclaimer:
- In some places, muting your camera shutter isn't permitted. Please obey local laws.

Hear a small beep sound after you exit the camera application?
What Camera Mute does is it mutes your phone when you are running the camera application, and it unmutes the phone when you exit.
When you put your phone on silent mode then put it back to normal mode you will hear a small beep. Its the same beeping sound that you will hear when you exit your camera. This is due to how Android was designed. As of now, I don't know if its possible to mute that sound as well without ROOT access. Please don't post that Camera Mute doesn't work in case you hear that sound. I've designed the application to silence the shutter, and nothing more.

Limitations:
Some phones doesn't turn off the camera shutter even if you put the phone on silent. If that's the same case with your phone then there is no way that Camera Mute will work.

Update: 11/03/2013
New version will be out soon. I can't do anything about the beep sound when your phone unmutes, however I can delay it. I have updated the program (soon to be released) now it has a counter. You will have the option to change the seconds on when the phone unmutes. Its the only workaround I can think of right now. Would anyone be interested in that feature? Example I have the counter set to 5seconds, so after you exit the camera app, it will take 5 seconds before you will hear that beep sound.

That sound isn't from the application. Its the default sound samsung makes when you unmute/unsilent your phone. Im not sure if I can do anything about it but I will check.

It doesn't work at all on my Gn3 (N9005, stock not rooted) :\ Is there anything special to do ?

Please make sure that after you install the application you go to the app and click enable, if it doesnt work click disable and enable it again. See if that works.

did you install the previous version? if so, kindly uninstall that one first.
If not, can you install APK files? make sure you can install APK files, go to Settings -> Security -> Check "Unknown source".

As i said the CSC features names are Samsung ones not my own translation, so if you don't understand what a key should do, just do NOT touch it and post it here, maybe someone can explain it.

Amazing app. Thank you. One thing: I try to activate desktop view as default changing false with true and, after a reboot, it didn't work. I have an n9005 with stock odexed 4.4.2 ugng1.

@wanam when we search clock etc we find alot of options but we should put number/word can u update with optional like number/word means like 1/true or false etc mate & thanks for this useful App

Maybe because this feature is checked only the first time you open the browser, try to clear its data.
Note that some of those csc features may NOT work as expected, Samsung keep adding new features but some them can be still broken, and some old ones that worked on older devices may aslo become broken (ex email black/white background).
So if any of the features did not work no need to blame the App.

Actually it is NOT possible, Samsung store all the feature as hash table of String, i still can do some inaccurate parsing and detect the type of filled ones but there is no way i can get the type of an empty csc feature, that's why i prefer to keep it open type.

You now have a toggle option for camera shutter sounds, neat!
Wounder why they kept this really usefull option hidden?

Probably because some jurisdictions require the shutter sound and it is technically "illegal" to disable it in those places. I'm sure someone somewhere would blame Samsung for making it too easy to commit such a crime!

Camera buttons are not on edge anymore, pulling out phone from lock screen does not take me to dialer from within lock screen unless I click on emergency call.

theres a toggle in "lock screen" setting to give you the little phone back on your lock screen.

working mods. Wiziconizer, font mod, hotspot mod, add toggles mod, system wide emojis, custom TW launcher. Mixer_path mod.... working to find more. All these mods have to be added manually. I used root explorer. Its a god send.

can you explain alittle more about how to add threse mods?..i thought they were just xposed mods..but adding them manually ill need step by step directions im sure there is a thread for each mod you mentioned can you link them plz?..also are you adding these mods for the lolipop stock rom?im sure it is,thread says 5.0 lolipop...im never used some of the mods your talking about,they sound very cool..does xposed have anything to do with them?

Xposed is not available for lollipop yet. I will post up links to the files tomorrow as well as directions and apps needed if you are really interested. Yes, they are all things that devs posted and helped me out in. Ill be happy to share and give credit where credit is due. XD

My phone icon is still on the lock screen, when I slide our up the dialer does not appear unless I hit "emergency dialer". I remember that setting from Kit Kat but its no longer in the lock screen settings...unless I missed it.
