My wifi network keeps disconnecting from the internet and reconnects right after. "Connection to Wi-Fi network" keeps popping up. I can still browse the internet, but if it happens to be when the internet disconnects for one second, the page cannot load. I have a feeling this is a software or hardware error, I had this problem since I got the tablet. If you look at the settings where it mentions wifi connection it will go from "Connected (network name)" to "no internet connection" then back.
This happens at school, starbucks, home, etc. I am very mobile, so it isn't the wifis problem. I have strong signals! And this doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen a fair amount. It is very annoying.
Anyway to fix this? Is this a hardware problem or something wrong with settings? Thanks.
I tried " http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=410460&modelname=GT-N8013&modelcode=GT-N8013EAVXAR" and it didnt work.
i brought a new router and this problem started to happen to me, not sure how to resolve the problem, it doesn't leave you without internet for long periods so i am not going to worry over it so much.

Is anyone else having issues connecting to remembered WiFi access points? When I first got the Sensation I was able to connect to WiFi at home and work but after about 2 weeks I'm unable to connect at work. I type in the credentials (its PEAP/MSCHAP v2) and it simply goes into a mode of constantly searching. Previously I had a Defy and had ZERO issues staying connected. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I am having the same issues, although after browsing around threads I honestly think it's a Sensation problem
At home I have to be within 50 feet of my extended-range wireless N router or else I don't get any wifi connection. Forget about going upstairs or the basement. Even in the living room I have 1 bar of wifi max...
I am also having the unbelievable issue of completely losing wifi when turning the phone horizontal. I just have my fingers crossed hoping that when this phone gets S-off'ed, people are going to hack the **** out of all the problems and hit us with some incredible ROMs

I have a similar problem with PEAP/MSCHAP v2. I noticed that if i long-press my work ssid, input credentials for wifi settings and choose "connect now" it allways manages to connect.
So the phone won't autoconnect when I come to work as it shoud, but just loops over "connecting..." / "disconnected" until I perfom the above mentioned procedure.
My HTC Desire does not have the same issue.

Yea some Sensations definitely are messed up WiFi-wise. I can't even force connect any longer. Very upsetting. Time for HTC to get off their rears and provide us a rootable phone!
Ever since I bought my Xoom I've had a connectivity issue with it when used on my home Wifi network ts fine when used on my works one). What happens is that my internet preiodically disconnects and I have to disconnect and reconnect wifi to get it working again. I've tried changing my router channels but to no avail.
I've recently installed a few programmes to analyse whats going on. I've found that when I received an email on my hotmail account my internet usually drops, delving deeper it seems the network speed drops from 54mbps to sometimes half this (can't remember the exact number).
I've checked my email settings and I can't seem to find anything that would cause me to disconnect once it checks my emails. And anyhow the disconnection or slow down is usally caused as it is trying to retieve the email and then once I manually disconnect and reconnect my wifi the email comes through.
Has anyone got any ideas on how to solve this problem?
Thanks.
I would say the last month or so the wifi on my N5 has been acting all weird, I don't know what have happened. Let's say I'm connected to the router (it always finds it), I try to go on a site but it just doesn't seem to be active even tho it says connected. Sometimes it helps to just disable and enable wifi, or airplane mode. I've tried changing channel on my router but the problem seems to come back, I don't know what to do?
Hi guys,
I have a Samsung Note 2, and it keeps dropping WiFi constantly, and notifies me every time with a notification "Sign into WiFi network" (I don't have to sign into my WiFi network), after 5mins it disconnects by itself with this message"Your Device has been disconnected from this network, your session has timed out". It start to happen like this since yesterday, i didn't change or update anything on my phone. I looked at some Solution on here, but problem is i can't Modify network config( i live in student accommodation) and i don't have access to router. My other phone Sony xperia had the same problem at the beginning, but i press Sign in and google chrome start downloading a file (generate_204.bin) for me then the problem is solved. However, when i press sign in on my Note2, it redirect me to a weird page, and after 5mins it disconnected again
Please help

This thread worked for me, had the same problem on my galaxy s5 on my work wifi..
Hello.
So I recently got a Snapdragon S10e, and I'm facing a (what is to me) pretty strange issue, that the phone itself seems to be causing.
So when it's connected to the home's WiFi, it causes the whole fiber optics line (so it's at the very least at router level) to intermitently be unable to connect to Google specifically.
What happens is I'm on the computer, open whatever browser and get timeout errors while trying to search on google, or youtube doens't work quite right... That kind of thing. Or will get a lot of timeouts on a tracert to 8.8.8.8.
The phone also starts to throw "no internet on this WiFi" kind of errors.
I can access everything else on the web, though, it's just Google that gets screwed. It ocasioanlyl throws a QUIC protocol error, although of course disabling it on, say, chrome, does nothing (as it's not a browser problem).
Then any number of seconds (up to a minute or 2) pass, and everything reconnects and starts working normally. Then it will happen again at any moment, any number of times.
I suspected the phone cause it started to happen at the time I got it, but of course it could've been a coincidence. Sure enough though, today I left the phone's WiFi turned off, and the issue hasn't happened. Internet working fine all day.
It's like the phone overwhelmes the router with something to google¿?¿? I don't know.
Edit: Ok, so connecting to 5G WiFi instead of 2.4 doens't cause the problem. What the hell.
