Hi,
after unlocking the bootloader i have now a special problem.
When i try to restart the device its in the bootloop. No chance to get rid of it.
The only thing i made so far is unlocking the bootloader. I have no root acess and / or TWRP.
Any ideas?
Put the phone into fastboot and flash a recovery with fastboot and download jmz stock rom and push it onto the phone when in recovery and flash it in recovery.
device rebooting
Hi hexxor93
I've unlocked with htcdev everything is fine.
Then I installed Twrp-2.6.0.0.img as recovery.
I'm not able to mount the internal storage, so I had to push the ROMs via ADB.
starting a ROM 1st time seems to be ok.
restart is also ok.
shutdown and power on is rebooting every ~15sec.
I tried to change my bootloader with ADB.
fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.3.6-m7ul.img -> volume keys are responding
fastboot boot recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.3.6-m7ul.img -> volume keys are NOT responding
recovery isn't starting until i run following commands:
fastboot flash recovery Twrp-2.6.0.0.img -> volume keys are responding
fastboot boot Twrp-2.6.0.0.img -> volume keys are NOT responding
but after resetting the device + entering recovery it's there
thanks for your ideas/help

You have to read really carefully; (and relock bootloader to get rid of the bootloops)
Now I'm having Twrp-2.6.0.0
USB mount in recovery isn't working for me; workaround "adb push ~" is ok.
thanks for your support!

It will only work on UNLOCKED devices
It requires access to Fastboot to prepare device first time
It won’t work on fully bricked devices (See 2.)
You need to keep files safe!
If you upgraded to Offiical JB it *won’t* work!
i'm not have fastboot and i'm on Official JB
i have try to enter on APX mode but i can't
did you try to install the asus pc sync (it shoul install the driver for use adb & fastboot) and after boot into recovery
from prompt you should be able to use adb
write adb devices
and if you can see the code of the devices may you can still have a possibility to flash troght adb
ok man i understand the problem today
i have flashed the last TeamWin Recovery but not compatible with 4.2.1 but 4.1 stock rom and now all partition can't be mounted in recovery, i have found adb in broken recovery and push recovery img for flash with dd command and all done in shell but nothing flashed !! then "adb reboot bootloader" for try to reflash with fastboot, same story all done in shell but nothing flashed !! ok no problem i try to boot android in boot menu and damn partition is ok and android booting !!!!!!!
ok remain 2 way. use dd in terminal emulator but can't without root permission and use nvflash but it's not work with JB confirm ?
waiting for a tool using an exploit for root from internal android and try dd or next update for nvflash.
any idea ? and sorry for my very bad english

and what do you think about ?
if you can boot the system may you can verify again the bootloader whit asus tool from the website maybe for any unsense reason it's locked....
ops wrong tread
Ok, I just tried some stuff and:
1. I can also access fastboot and OS.
2. Trying to flash modified TWRP with fastboot freezes bootloader.
3. In-system can't open .RAR files.
4. After manually transfering unpacked V8 unlocker from PC it says there's an "unknown problem" when trying to install unlocker. It supposedly upgraded from V7 to V8 app without problem.
In bootloader it says at the top of the screen that "Key driver not found... Booting OS". After that it lists bootloader info ( v. 1.00 e ).
Looks like recovery's bricked with some further issues in the OS itself.
EDIT:
Bricked the OS. Tried reflashing stock system and now bootloader freezes when trying to boot OS. My guess would be that fastboot can still erase stuff but most likely can't write ( at least not properly ). Google/Asus probably know of a way to restore our tablets but Asus clearly prefers to replace motherboards.
I have to think whether it's worth it for me to replace the MB but most likely will just sell the thing for parts.
whan you try to re-flash the system somthing goes in the wrong way? do you still have fastbooy access? was the usb debug on?
sorry but which rar you can't open?
My NExus S is stuck on the screen that says:
Fastboot Mode No Boot or Recovery IMg.
Product Name - Herring
HW Version - Rev34
Bootloader Version - D720SPRKC5
Baseband Version - D720SPRLCI
Carrier Inro - SPR
Serial Number 32300E25C33500EC
Lock State - Locked
options to select
Reboot Bootloader (gives me exact same screen) except it only says "Fastboot"
Reboot Back to the "FASTBOOT MODE - NO BOOT OR RECOVERY IMG"
Recovery (Can boot to CWM but I can't mount anything)
Power OFF (That works fine)
Then the little green man and the android logo
Followed by USB Control INIT
USB Control INIT End
STANDARD_SET_CONFIGURATION
Conventional wisdom says download some files and fix via fastboot. However in fastbootI can't run ANY of the steps without running FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK. When I run it my phone asks if I really want to unlock the bootloader. when I choose YEs and hit power it just freezes there.
My next thought Boot to recovery and restore. A restore through recovery followed by a reboot leads me back to the original no boot or recovery img.
Okay I'll just sideload a working rom by mounting usb storage. Then I can flash it with CWM and be up and running.
but when I try to do mount the USB Storage I get "E:Unable to write to ums 1unfile (No such file or directory)"
Finally, Last ditch Effort, I'll load up ODIN and use that to put on a working recovery. there's forums all over the place explaining how to do that right? Well yes, but the links to the Tar file are all broken.
What next my friends? I'd really like to get this phone working.

what about just using adb? Can you find it when you type fastboot devices? If so there's a command in fastboot to reboot to recovery I think.
I on the other hand am screwed. I read in another forum that it hangs on unlock because the internal memory is fubar.

Solution for me:
1. Turn device on into Bootloop
2. Connect it via USB (PC founds it)
3. type in CMD "adb reboot recovery"
4. device is in recovery
5. reflash everything i wanted :good:
Requirement is a working Android-SDK!

Hello, I have a problem with my Moto G after unlocking the bootloader. Let me just post the basic info of the phone:
-Moto G XT1032 (16GB)
-Bought in UK Amazon, used in Slovenia
-Android version KitKat 4.4.2
I followed the instructions to unlock bootloader from the Motorola site. The cmd window is like this (pic in attachment) . The first time it rebooted it showed the warning sign at begginng and actually almost booted succesfully but then said com.android.proccess has stopped (something like that) so i turned it off and it automatically turns on again and it does show the warning that bootloader is unlocked and the motorola animation startup and after that the screen become black (but is turned on) and it's stuck like that. Please help my with any solution, because i just got this phone like a week ago and to have it bricked now would be just awfull. So yeah, please post any suggestions on how to fix this.
+I find out now that I am able to get into fastboot, if that helps. I don't know what to do if any of you do please help
Had a similar problem. I solved it by rebooting to bootloader and flashing a custom recovery. Try either cwm or twrp. From there i flashed cyanogenmod.

Thanks for replying! I'm sorry could you please be more specific on how to do that, i'm still a noob at doing this stuff
How to get to fastboot mode
Keep in mind, that vol up is the enter key in fastboot mode and power button will turn your device off. When you are in fastboot mode you can connect the phone via USB and you should see "usb connected" or something similar popping up. You can also list the connected devices with
Code:
fastboot devices
Once you're in fastboot mode install a recovery.img. Either twrp or cwm.
You can flash it with:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
And finally boot to recovery by selecting it in fastboot mode.
Then you can copy cyanogenmod or another rom with adb:
Code:
adb push C:\path\to\rom.zip /sdcard/
Then flash the rom by selecting "install zip", "choose zip from /sdcard/" and selecting 0 and the rom you just copied over.
Edit: you might find this useful if you dont have adb + fastboot already set up.
Edit: also you should put recovery.img and rom.zip in the same folder as adb and fastboot (will make the path thing obsolete).

Bootloader or Fastboot mode.
You can go into this mode by turning the phone off, then press and hold Power + Vol down buttons for about 3-5 seconds.
Alternatively, if you have ADB working, you can type in your command prompt: adb reboot bootloader
My phone is bootlooping and the power button has been broken for a while. I've tried various things posted in other threads, just wondering if anyone has any solutions or ideas.
I can't seem to get it to connect with usb in the bootloader but it does connect while bootlooping. Can I fix it while connected in the bootloop?
edit: Actually, now that I've researched more, I'm pretty sure the problem is that my bootloader is frozen. That's why neither my functioning volume keys or adb works in the bootloader.

I can't seem to get anything in the Nexus Root Toolkit to work while it's bootlooping or while it's in the bootloader even though it comes up in my device manager as Google Nexus S ADB Interface while in the bootloop.
Is there a way to fix it in the command line, or is that just the same thing as using the root toolkit?

No I can't get into recovery because my volume buttons won't let me navigate the bootloader options. They aren't broken, they just don't work in the bootloader for some reason. My power button is physically broken though so I don't know how to get to recovery or if I can even use recovery without the power button...
I think fastboot will work without a power button?

1) Download latest CWM Touch.
2) Follow steps from here to install CWM.
3) Boot in recovery using the command in the above link.
4) Download a flashable touch recovery from here.
5) Mount USB in the recovery and copy this zip and flash it. This will make your custom recovery permanent. Reboot to recovery again just to verify.
Now, you have a touch recovery accessible through fastboot and can install custom ROMs

Since I suggested you read my adb and fastboot thread, I added a new section about command prompt. It explains that you need to tell cmd where the recovery image is but otherwise correct.
