Just wanted to say thanks for everyone that has made this site possible. I am new to the android community..... Recently came from the iPhone 5 to the galaxy S4. :cyclops: There is a night and day difference in the two communities! There are a ton of extremely helpful and knowledgeable people floating around in this forum and pass along their knowledge freely. Just wanted to say thanks and show some of the guys that have made this all possible some respect.

First off, I'm not entirely sure about how the mods would feel about this, if I'm overstepping something, I'm terribly sorry.

Q:Why are you being a sap and promoting your group?
A:Unfortunately, we have very little people in our group and, in order to be able to do the things we'd like to benefit the XDA community, need more to help us work on projects.
Q:Why can't I just submit something myself and get full credit for it?
A:First thing's first, if you alone created it, there's no need to give credit to others. However, if you had help from others members of Team Innov8, the member that put the most effort into the work/came up with the idea will OP the thread and properly credit the help he/she recieved. Second, the idea behind our group is basically taking "two heads are better than one" and applying it to a larger group of people to create something unique, to fill in blanks left by only one person working on that theme, rom, boot animation, or etc. Finally, having the backing of Team Innov8 means a better outcome for you. Any work you OP will be referenced or recommended by other members of the group, hence more people will view your work.
Q:What do I have to do in this group?
A:One of the standards of Team Innov8 is to have an active community. So, if you plan to join 'fo sho' and not contribute anything, well then think again. You must in some way contribute, either in the discussions or in the creation of a new project.
Q:I don't see anything for my device from this group D:
A:That's the point of all this. Because of our lack of people, we don' have much to work with. A larger work force means a larger coverage of devices. So if you join, you can help us make something for your device .​

Other member of this group here... We're a couple college students in engineering that'd like to start doing some development for devices, atm we simply have a theme for the US versions of the S3 called "CityScapeS3" using the VRTheme system and Morphology for the S3's if you've heard of it. We want to get much more technical (smali coding, inventing new mods/features, full ROMs created from scratch without the help of a rom building tool, custom kernels, etc.) for whatever devices we can, mostly devices with Qualcomm chipsets because that's what we have in the US. We believe the best way to do this is to get help from real people and hopefully also help those same members out when they're stuck, and this is why we are looking for additional team members. Right now we're definitely nothing big, but I'm ambitious to change that!

i have flash the dn3 rom...its awesome but there is one prob. the lock screen function accept swipe lock does work...any solution for that plz suggest...its is showing on lock screen option but try to apply it it wont work...it work as an... none lock ....reply plz

You can either PM a mod or make 10 posts. Unfortunately while the 10 post rule stops a lot of unnecessary spam, it also prevents actual devs from using the development forums. Still, since you are a dev making 10 posts should be incredibly easy.

You are reuploading. Stop it NOW! There is a reason that some content is not allowed on xda. Also, youre not even giving any information about it. Just a few words with a download link. With awfully messed up english. This is considered as theft and is against the rules of xda. Reported to mods.
You are getting a good stats because of other peoples work. How would you feel if you build something for days and days and someone else slaps his name on it and strikes with the win? You would be mad. So are these developers right now at you. Stop it and go away. If you havent got something to post from your own. Then leave.
Also, i bet you didnt even ask permission to post this kernel at the original developer.

Not only that, you didn't even give proper credit to the developer nor getting any permission to post the link here. Like what others have mentioned, the kernel was not allowed to be posted in XDA is for a reason. If your intention is to share with others, you may send the user a PM, but not by posting a rom / kernel with just the download link. It's not only disrespect to the developers but also not adhere to the XDA rules.

If I recall, he stated that he would release source once he gets the note 4, which he is getting this few days. Once he releases the source and you get proper permission (source, credits, faq etc) then you may post for others to dl. Until then mods pls shut down this thread.

Unfortunetly Android-Andi will not update his roms anymore because of rude behavior of other devs so it's very sad... Big thanks to him for his work!

Can someone describe bugs?
I recently use bluetooth to stream music to my car audio so I'm searching rom with correctly working this option and wifi hotspot.

strangely my cm12 also cant transmit sound over bluetooth.I was hoping a dev would provide a file to paset with root access somewhere..

As he says, some dev has taken his SE policy github work without giving proper credits. So as of now, Unfortunately, Android-Andi has stopped his contribution to Tab2.

Shame, ya i feel him there because he has done loads of work for the tab 2 which i feel his contribution for the tab 2 was not respected by others.

But that is going to happen. Should the open source community suffer for this? I personally feel it takes strongwill to forgive. Everyone knows Andi has great skills and talents and that's what matters. His respect is not going anywhere if somebody does not credit his work properly.

Doesn't really matter at this point.
Now i remember that even in his own cm-12 thread i think someone was posting patched kernels and roms that he built from Andi's commits.

It is huge loss for Tab 2 community if @Android-Andi decides to abandon from this device development. He is great developer and his Lollipop based ROMs generally look promising. Moreover his previous work is outstanding.

What is going on with hero of the tab2 Android_Andi?
I hope Android_Andi not go from our old device....

No need to discuss this here, no need ti blame anyone. It is one of different reason. Other reasons are time: most of the time i only sleep 3 hours because of deving. Need to get back energy too

I tried every rom all may not be latest every developer is making well roms i found mokke not detecting sim card and remaining all perform similarly because all are nightlys some are having some bugs which are not in other mow am using sokp it is also having bugs but good for normal daily usage
