I came across this from Amazon:
CHOE Qi Wireless Charger for Galaxy S4 I9500 (Wireless Charging Pad and Wireless Charging Receiver Included) from Amazon going for $32.99
Works with any Qi-enabled device through an adapter or an embedded chip.
Power Source: AC Adaptor plugs into charging pad
Freedom of Placement: No annoying magnets to align or secret spots to find in order to charge your device. The wireless charging pad is Qi standard, it can charge any Qi-enabled device today, tomorrow and beyond with Light indicator to show charging status.
Anyone using this device?I would like to order one for my Samsung Galaxy S4 and i just want to be sure of it before ordering.

I suggest you go to the Galaxy S4 forum - this is the Galaxy S4 Active forum, which is another device all together.
Thank you

Since the N9 does not have Qi wireless charging, it would be super if a cover with qi enabled. This exists for other devices and I hope for this device too. Any ideas?
To answer myself: You could of course buy a QI reciever and a slim case: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...ireless Charging Receiver film for micro-USB
If only something like that exists with a micro SD slot along with being able to mod the N9 to have Qi charging. Problem solved.
That doesn't work with most tablets given it's low output. I can test it when my tablet arrives this week to confirm.
I can confirm the microusb adapter pad does charge. I did a few %. Seems to work fine but cannot comment on overall speed. 650mah output listed on the back of my Qi pad adapter.

If you plan on continued use of the Qi adapter could you report on it's usefulness beyond your initial impression? It's nice to know it works but is it worth getting?
Any suggestion as to brand is also appreciated.
I bought this qi receiver from Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JIN22JM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It says it's charging for a few seconds, but then it stops... It's useless
Anyone know of a qi receiver that works with N9?

I ordered a different one but had the same results (only charges for a few seconds).

I have bought my qi receiver from ebay, $7.66.
earlybirdsavings-ebs3 is the seller (sorry, not allowed to write the link) and it works perfectly.

And a usb port for OTG
Will the tablet stop charging when reaching 100% or do we risk damaging tablet? Is this controlled by tablet or charger?

Yep, I pegged it in another thread. This dude IS a spammer.
Does the Nexus 9 even support QI? I guess not.

No

Was anyone successfull? I do not want to buy the Nexus 9 as long it does not support Qi.

It does NOT natively support Qi charging. The Nexus 9 uses a nVidia SoC, not Qualcomm (or the Samsung Exynos CPU). None of the current nVidia SoC's support wireless charging. Attempting to use one of those jankety cases with Qi support would be a laughing matter. Call me in a month when that 6700mAh battery has finally finished charging.
There are Qi receiver available charging with 1000 mAh. And 6 hours of charging would be really ok for me.
Sorry for bringing this back from the dead but I need some help.
I looked at a few of the links posted above and it looks like you can ADD Qi wireless charging to the device with a sick on pad that inhabits the micro USB port permanently. Is that right? When this is plugged into the stock USB port can you still have things plugged in via OTG like flash drives, keyboards, etc?
I don't care if it charges slow just so long as it keeps up with demand from the tablet. This would be a fixed installation in a truck as the headunit so it would ALWAYS have power when the vehicle is on.

Specifically, I'm looking at this model listed below. The Nexus 9 is a "narrow side down" USB device and this one CLAIMS to output 1000mAh. Would that be enough to keep up with demand?

I've been reading the threads as far as people trying to find a wireless charger set for the Galaxy Note Edge. I found a link of a seller based in South Korea where they have them in stock. I ordered mine this morning.
I can't post any links since I don't have more than 10 post but attached a screenshot in the Word document attached.

OUCH that is pricey... This one is cheaper...
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Wireless Charging Battery Back Cover S Charger Genuine
His includes the charging base. It's not a bad deal if you want the Qi base to be OEM. If you have another base already then just buy the cover.
I would love to get one of these but that then leads to the question of compatible cases...
I'm waiting for Flip Wallet with charging back.
I am also looking for the same. It is however too expensive for just being a wireless charging battery cover. Can someone confirm if this wireless charging cover is compatible with new wireless "fast charge" pads/stands from Samsung. I mean is it rated to utilize the fast charging capability or will it charge at the normal speed even at a fast charging pad.

Fast wireless charge is only for s6 and up, I think.

As far as I know, fast wireless just depends on whether the base and the charger at the wall are fast chargers.
Either way, the battery and the coil don't care.
Now that the aftermarket Qi stickers for the LG V10 have hit the virtual store shelves, (I ordered mine but have not yet received it), I was wondering:
Does the LG V10 support fast wireless Qi charging or is that something that is particular to the Samsung S6 and Note 5?
I was persuaded that the Qi chargers from Choetech offer the best value for the money. There are two particular models in which I am interested.
Standard
CHOETECH Mini Qi Wireless Charger for all Qi-Enabled Devices (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013AB63YW/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_RJDtwbSV0HENH
Fast
Fast Wireless Charger-CHOE Circle QI Fast Charge Wireless Charger Charging Pad (with Smart Lighting Sensor)for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge+ and All Qi-Enabled Devices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015351VC2/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_QNDtwbE1343CE
In the description it states:
Two modes for wireless charging: Fast Charge Mode(10W Output Max) for your Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+, Standard Charge Mode(Output 5W Max) for your standard QI enabled device.
The extra cost of the fast charger is certainly, but only worth it if the phone supports it. So my question is, do only the newest Samsung phones support fast Qi charging, or does the LG V10 support fast Qi charging as well (only that this charger came out before the LG V10 is the reason it's not mentioned)?
This is the official LG wireless charging back. It does not mention Fast Qi charging, so I'm inclined to say it does not at this time.

The CPR-120 does not work with choetech FAST CHARGE pad, I have tried it, did not worked.
No, it does not.
I ordered 2 of those (leather version) from China, it's RMB$55 each, that is around USD$8 each
who can recommend new wireless charger for my Samsung S7? i am using the Samsung original charger. but I don't think it's very convenient, I'm usually on the road.
the size is larger so that i need a new wireless charger to sovle the problem. i just see the Aiermaisi Wireless Charging Pad on Amazon
Has anyone already used this type product? it is just a charging pad. who can tell me other high quality wirless products? thanks....
I bought an Itian Fast charger from Amazon. Since I'm in Canada not sure f the link would help...it's 20USD - which translated to a LOT more in CAD
But I measured the current and it delivers 1.6A at 9V. Speedy charges...

Samsung says using non Samsung certified Qi pads might damage the battery. Can't i use my huawei Qi charger. One would think Qi should have some standards.
Edit: It is charging just fine with this charging pad - in case anyone is interested.
