It seems you're not on 4.2.2. Walkman is only for 4.2.2.

The updated apps aren't packaged in 4.2.2 by default and will officially be pushed to the OS via OTA updates soon. Albums will install on 4.1.2, but it will be buggy. The other apps will give parsing errors.
Is there a trick to finding out what version I have currently?

What do you mean? Versions of these apps?
You can.. Just go to settings then apps then swipe to All and find the album, walkman, movies and tap and its under their name

Ok thanks, I was looking for something in the app itself, but should have realised I could get it from the app manager. Sorry about that.
Great update btw, it now makes music unlimited have a nice and modern interface, unlike the music unlimited app itself.

I was a bit disappointed with the new walkman app once I updated. I was looking forward to "integrated Music Unlimited"
All it really does is add a button within walkman, which launches the Music Unlimited app separately.

Its fairly integrated for me, as in my playlists are there, as well as the channels and search, which searches music unlimited.
I can also offline items directly from the walkman app.

Tried to see if making an offline playlist showed up in Walkman, but It wont let me, saying I have too many devices activated. I don't know how to deauthorize android devices I have sold in the past.

Works for me on my tablet Z.
It appears I can now see Charts and New Releases from MU; very nice
Edit: Its fast AND when you create an album playlist it creates with the name of the album you are creating the playlist from; Oh yes, missed that from spottily...now happy.
Go into playstation/sony account and deactivate from there.

Scenario:
When I click on Music Widget (stock/gapps version) it asks which player you would like to use... 'Music: com.android.music' or 'Music: com.google.android.music'
If I select the second one I get the big 'Sorry! The application Music (etc...) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.'
I know beta has it's is own widget but it isn't themed like stock under CM7 themes.
Since the beta version wants/tries to use the stock widget is there any way to allow it?? i.e. No need to force close?
This is mainly to keep aesthetic theme appeal ^^

I'm assuming you were talking to me though without a quote I cannot be sure. I did try ME (Market Enabler) prior to posting this request. Setting my SIM to US T-Mobile or US Verizon did NOT affect the change I was wanting. I am still unable to located Google Music on my phone or via the Market Online. Prior to you asking, yes I did double-check that the sim identifier was modified.
So, if you happen to have Google Music (latest version) and you have Titanium Backup I would truly appreciate a single backup copy of it. Thank you for the response.
I had to uninstall the mobile app. It was moving music from my phone to my car flash drive without being prompted. Stuff I didn't want on the flash drive or had categorized differently. Also, it would start playing every time I would want to stream internet radio from my phone through the car stereo bluetooth connection. I'd stop it so I could hear the station and it would start back up again.

Great app, I wish there was a way to exit the app so that I know that its correctly killed and not running data in the background. Just out of curiosity, when a song is streamed where does it put the file and for how long?
EDIT - even if I kill this app it keeps opening back up, uninstalling for now.

Thanks for feedback! If the song is paused it doesn't use data anymore. We don't host files -- when a song is streamed, it is being streamed from a seperate entity such as a random Tumblr blog. Hypedmusic is simply a data conduit

That is a great question! Hypedmusic crawls the web, and then stores the location of music files. We link to the original source of the music and embed that on our platform. The music often originates from a tumblr blog or soundcloud.
I like the gui of this better than tinyshark. Trough it seems like tinyshark is more reliable when searching. But i have to say, this app is great. The gui is slick and the sound quality

I'm having a small issue. Artist images aren't downloading. Box is checked and download over WiFi is checked as well. Apollo downloads artist images so I'm not sure what the deal is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the renamed version of Apollo it's free, the 1 dollar version has a built-in equalizer and a power consumpltion reduction (some friends helped me with this stuff). Anyway the pro version, not the free, isn't just a renamed version, you'll verify that at the release of Pure Audio 2. It's really near the release
I need a tester!!
You must attack a free version APK or the XDA version due to some people not being able to access the play store in certain countries. Moderators said it like 20 billion times. I think those are the rules :good:

It's really subjective, anyway according to my testers and other users PureAudio is better than other euqalizer.
@op thanx for your nice music player im just a bit shocked when i found out it works with other equalizer

If anyone has the knowledge and time to make an app for QuickCircle that works to control Google Play Music (even if its just media controls) that would be amazing!
LG do have one for their stock music app, but I (and a heck of a lot of others) use Google Play Music.
Unfortunately The LG music cannot pair with Play Music.
However, I can replicate their UI and make it support every media player that uses android standart Media Api.
I'll work on it as soon as I'll stop being lazy
This is good news...And I'd happily pay something for a good quick circle app, if that encourages you at all.

Edit: Here is a preview image of my app, and yes, I designed it using LG drawables.
I've tested it with Play Music and LG Music and it worked fine.
Currently the are two known bugs:
1. In some albums the image won't be a prefect circle - don't ask me why, it isn't my code :/
2. On device boot, you will maybe'll need to go to the next truck so the app will work (it uses android official Api, so I'm not the responsible of this bug).
Now the only think that I need is a nice icon, you got any?

Another issue: sometimes it doesn't recognize a song. Go to the player change truck and back to the current truck and it will be fixed.

It should work with any service that uses RemoteController (basically - every music player).
I'm searching for nice circle icon, if you found one that i could use, please send me.

There are several g3 style icon packs out on the market already, so maybe you could ask one of them to use a single icon? I'm using Ultimate G3 theme (icons only though, through iconify) for example.

One of the option is to use the site that i used to create the icon for Quick torch - http://flaticons.net/search.php?search=music

I don't want to complain, but the Quick Torch icon seems a little "low-res" compared to the other ones.
But not a big deal, it works perfectly!
