One moto x feature I want badly is the Motorola connect feature. Has/can it be ported to other Motorola phones?

I'd really like to see this ported to the xt907, myself. It would be very helpful. I have a feeling that they'll do it themselves, but I'm impatient.

But you could use DeskSMS or MightyText.
Anyone got hands on the motorola connect apk would try to just install it...

I've got a WiMo phone with XDandroid 2.2 running on it. I put the .apk in the apps folder and installed. Now I can't see the app anywhere...
I downloaded the apk file and went to install it but it says that I have a parsing error

Mine said the same, I downloaded it to my computer then put oit on my phone.
But I have a mytouch 3g and it doesn't work.

Press and hold an open space on your desktop. A menu comes up, and select wallpapers->live wallpapers. Should be there, at least on a native android, and I doubt yours in any different
OP, this is awesome. Combined with a droid does skin for beautiful widgets, and a droid eye skin for Launcher Pro, and I got a theme going on

Like I said before, download out on your computer then put the apk on your phone. The droid 2 doesn't have any cool lwp?

Sorry, but I still can't get it to work. If I do as suggested above I just get to chose from the gallery or the launcher pro gallery. I can't select live wallpapers. Do I need an app to use live wallpapers?

You need 2.1/2.2 with live wallpaper support
OK. so I guess it's not included in my 2.2 ROM...well, maybe next time...

i think it will like i said i got it to boot all the way to the boot animation but then it just sits there loading i think i may need my updater scrip looked at or it needs a new kernel but i dont think its the kernel but i could be wrong
but like i said i could use some help on this ^___^

Interesting thought, but I can't really see the point, the Magic resources is maxed out at 2.2, even sluggish at 2.1.
There's no more features for the honeycomb phne version as of now.

so far it boots but then sits on the boot animation it is not frozen just sits there so that is the progress so far if you wanna take a look i can email you the link to the rom
i wrote him all in a email. he got the .zip and will have a look of it
btw. yesterday with the lp instead of the launcher2 didn't work. it sat in the bootanimation.

Ha, sorry. I think I expressed myself badly.
I am thinking about buying Moto G and DSLR-Controller support would be really needed. That's why I would love an answer from someone who has tested this and says it works with DSLR-Controller.
