adobe flash player for galaxy s4 - Galaxy S 4 Active Themes and Apps

Part 1. Get the Adobe Flash Player (based on this guide: How do I manually install Flash Player on my Android device?)
Make sure your Android device is connected to the Internet.
Go to Settings–Security
Check the “Unknown sources” check box. (under Device administration)
Tap OK to confirm your selection.
Close Settings.
Launch the browser.
Search for “flash player archive page” or navigate directly to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
On the Archive page, scroll down to “Flash Player for Android archives”
Select Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.54).
Tap the link to download the Flash Player installer. Download begins automatically.
When download completes, close the browser.
Open Notifications.
Tap “install_flash_player.apk”
When prompted, tap Install.
When installation is finished, tap Done.
(you can also download the apk file on your PC, copy the file to S4, then install it)
Part 2. Get a browser that support Flash on Galaxy S4
As mentioned, neither Chrome nor the stock browser (aka internet app) does not work with Flash on your S4.
Not all third-part browsers work with Flash on Jelly Bean. Here are a few we tested. yYou do not need to have them all, but it is better to test different browsers for the Flash site you are going to visit. Some browsers work great for some sites, but not other sites.
Firefox. To be frank, Firefox for Android is not a great app. It is a bit buggy on Jelly Bean. But it is a reliable browser for most sites. Please note, after installing Flash, you need restart Firefox (in the Task Manager, stop it; then start it again).
Boat Browser (free). It simply works. By default, the Flash plugin is disabled. You need tap the menu button, go to settings–Page content settings-Enable flash/plug-ins, and set it as always on.
UC Browser. It should work without any additional settings. The Flash will not play automatically, and you need touch the play button on each Flash video.
Of course, there are many other browsers that support Flash. You can test whether Flash is supported by visiting: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html

If I am using dolphin, there is no way to have flash, isnt??
Dolphin browser works fine with flash.
Go to menu, more, setting, web content, Flash player
You can set it to "Always on", "on demand" or "off"
I like on demand. When you get to a page that has flash, a green arrow will appear in the flash window. Tap on it and the flash will load.
Also you can change your user agent to iPad and many sites will serve you up HTML5 without flash

If you've ever downloaded Flash ever, even on a different device, with your Google account then it's in your download history. Just go to Google Play, Downloads (down arrow symbol), select All, go through the list and download.
Flash player is still available to download from adobes website and it does work with and supported for 4.0... Its not supported for 4.1 tho but it still might work. Here's the link to adobes website.

As far as I know flash doesn't work with stock browser or Chrome I don't know about Maxhton. But in Firefox it workd like a charm to me. If you can't install the flash form your device you can try with the Nexus Root Toolkit it has a "Install APK" option in it's advance menu which might work.

[HOW TO] Install Adobe Flash Player on Galaxy S4

Adobe Flash Player still works great on the Galaxy S 4, but only on some browsers. I was surprised that they have even blocked it on the stock browser. But it works well when used with the right browser. No root necessary.
Video Tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMJCnUuzjc0
Step 1: On your S4, go to Settings -> Security -> Enable Unknown Sources
Step 2: Download apk directly from Adobe. Adobe still updates Flash regularly every month, so use this link instead of downloading an old version from someone's private link. Scroll down to "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives" and download the latest version.
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
Step 3: Download Boat Browser.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boatbrowser.free&hl=en
Use this for all your non mobile browser needs. Naked Browser also works, but the UI might not be for everyone. I hear the UC Browser works too.
Step 4: Open Boat Browser -> Menu -> Settings -> Page Content Settings
Step 5: Enable flash/plug-ins -> Always On
Step 6: User agent -> Desktop
Additional Note: Flash DOES NOT work on: Stock Browser, Firefox (Buggy), Chrome, Dolphin (maybe with a tweak?). Haven't tried Opera, Maxthon, or Puffin.
*Latest Adobe Flash Player (As of April 27, 2013): Link: Download Adobe Flash Player v11.1.115.54
I highly recommend Ocean Browser for S4.
Right after realising that stock browser does not support flash, I switched to use this great thing.
Before this one is for tablets only (mostly Nexus 10 users) but now also for phones.
What !? Galaxy s IV browser not supporting flash player ? WTF guys ?
Not working. Tried with multiple browsers but nothing. Even with several flash versions. I9505 on XXUAMDC firmware.
Seriously this is not working on stock browser? It did on the S3. Has the stock browser really changed that much? Anyone else has any tests on the stock browser?
EDIT: Seems like we have further confirmation also stating it as unusual - Link
EDIT 2: I have a theory if we pull the Browser apk from the Galaxy S III we can still use it in the S4. Someone interested in testing?

I'm currently doing this. as in my browser is the browser from my s3. I found the easiest way is to make a titanium back up of it on your s3, then copy the files over to your s4 and drop the files in your titanium backup folder on your s4 and simply restore the apk (just don't restore the data). the s3 browser works fine, however when I try to download it seems to force close.. not sure why.. still investigating.

Can I just point out. This isn't Samsung doing. But android it's the jelley bean updates that don't support flash
Sure it's samsung doing. If it was just due to jellybean no other browser would be working with it. And it works just fine on my 4.2.2 jellybean nexus 7, once stock android browser is copied to it and flash installed, as well as 4.1.2 s3 and my note 8.0.
Actually it works amazing on stock note 8.0 browser, third party android based browsers sometimes hiccup with it playing flash and sometimes crash, but stock is a champ. It even has smart reflow, removed on android builds browsers since gingerbread.
JKAY DELUXE [I9300 JB 4.1.2]
you have to enable flash in boat's settings, tested and working fine i9505
Firefox works fine for me but no other browsers do, Boat lets you enable it but it is so unstable and breaks the page.

I may be wrong, but I think it goes one step back from here - I thought it was Adobe that stopped developing for Android, when JB came out.
Based on what I'm seeing here I think our best chance is to pull the browser from the Galaxy S III or stock AOSP browser (not Chrome) on 4.2.2 on Nexus 4.

I currently have an unmodded s4 and love the new phone. It is a tmo version straight out of the box with NO MODS whatsoever, and I am running Mozilla Firefox with the latest Adobe Flash version from the archives for Android Phones. It works perfectly with no glitches. Boat browser does NOT work on my phone with flash and actually will force close when trying to use anything that requires Flash. So, Firefox DOES in fact work.:good:
