ELIORA ROM FOR MICROMAX A50
Hi my name is lakshman teja and iam a proud owner of micromax a50.I am very much interested in android so I bought a50 when I bought that phone I don't know anythng about android frommmm then I learned so many tricks about android like rooting,cmw recovery,flashing etc.:highfive:
As I was an absolute beginner one day while browsing I cameacross a page android rooting and became interested and googled how to root mmx a50? But didt find any solution and finally I came across xda and successfully rooted and also flashed cmw recovery in my phone thanks to varun chitre for cmw recovery :good:
JETMOD FIRST CUSTOM ROM FOR MMX A50:-
After flashing cmw on my phone varun has released the first custom rom for a50 and I flashed it without taking backup all was working fine one day I tried to send a song by bluetoth and alas I couldn't send it and came to know that blue tooth is not working in it and I stayed on same rom till nov becoz I don't hav othr choice and in nov I installed stock rom and in search of othr roms:crying:

In december I came across a fb page mmx a50 development and discussion and a developer named abijith guha who announced that he was gng to release x-zoom rom for android many people are dying for new rom aftr a long waiting rom was released in jan2013 and I downloaded and installed it.phone ons lately due to boot animation which is pretty amazing and intersting. I tried to play songs but failed nxt time I was succesfull in playing song.rom was nice and it occupies more internal storage

One day while brwsing fb I came across a person pavel singh who posted pics of his romand snd him a request and iasked him about rom and told him to release he relased it I installed it its very nice light and compact and fonts are good and I like this rom u can also try this rom at www.elioarom.blogspot.com.hope u all guys dwnload and install it.and also a new rom for a50 eliora lun a is going to be released soon

Dear Folks!
I'm using QMobile A10 (which is variant of Micromax Canvas A110). I've been jumping form one rom to another form a week but not being satisfied very much. May be it is due to kernal issue because problems with rotation, USB-OTG and auto brightness (and sometime battery issue). I think that it is due to Kernal.
As XDA announced new rules regarding Kernal, so devs are offering roms without Kernals (boot img). And devs mostly say that add boot img from stock rom or any of your choice. I am not any dev but I've feelings that every kernal is not compatible to every rom.
So all I want to ask that kindly tell me that which boot image is better with what rom so that I may enjoy my A10 experience too.

bro all the development done with stock jb or cayns t2 rom... so.... stock boot.img is more suggested by the all devs....

which is a clone of mmx A110 canvas 2.
all roms 4.0.4 and 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 of canvas 2 on this forum wok fine for my phone
but the newest ones 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 have a problems with them
the problem is in the camera, it did'nt work ( there's no driver message )
by a dev, i need to modify kernel ( private message )
first i'm a simple user, not dev ( how to modify the kernel with drivers for my phone cam ? )
second this issue with kernel appear only with 4.2
third i can't post in dev section i don't know why
finaly how to fix this problem

Strange....Camera is working perfect after release of custom kernel of @Andrixu...Do u have old MMX FON or the Latest one...as latest MMX A110 is not supporting camera on 4.2.2..although our devs r contionuosly working to fix it asap..in case if u hv old MMX than try to.reflash the latest kernel of @Andrixu (which u can find in ANDROID ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM) then ur both the cameras will work perfectly..

( EverShine ) it's a clone of mmx a110
and i have tested the two boot.img, of Andiroxu and varun, and the same problem remain
i think when modded, this news boot.img contain only driver for mmx a110, not an universal drivers for other clones
which is not the case with the boot.img of the "4.1.x" version
am i the only one facing fc while opening face and voice unlock on legoice canvas 4 r
sir i am facing fc on face and voice unlock sir....

EverShine would have taken Latest Devices.... Where is the logo of your brand on the Phone??[just asking] as on india....only old phones which came with ICS out of Box is supported by New Kernels... Did you try old kernel by andriroxu??

same, cam not work
i have flashed roms from wiko king, cynus T2, my phone a919 and mmx of course (4.1.x), and all kernels are compatible for EverShine

I am running JB 4.1.1 and Im searching for a new ROM that will boost my phone performance as it has become very slow and laggy despite removing most apps and refreshing the RAM often. Can you recommend some ROMS and apps that will improve my phone performance? Im also looking for a nice UI/theme and tutorials to accomplish these things. Thank you.
Also why are all the good ROMs for 4.2.2? How can I upgrade my phone from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2?

you're on 4.1, so if you wanna use 4.2.x roms, you'll have to flash a 4.2.x kernel and then the desired 4.2.x rom. bindassboost kernel would do. for lag free ui, you could use the ultimatenexus or rivals or mere rom (there are much more lag free roms)
and for android L themed UI, you could use kitkatian v3 or skykisser.
there are roms like miui, vibe, zener where you'll get different ui. :good:

kernel version is 3.4.5 and the build number jelly bean
my question is that iam looking for a custom kernel that is compatiball with this combination plz help as i have gotten this far allready but now iam stuck in the procces of wanting a faster phone
because this ROM has no overclock support

as kk was designed for phones with less than 1gb ram in mind
but jb was saposed to have 1gb ram
