Hi Guys,
i got my S4 9505 from 1 month and i very very happy with it..also for good battery life, but we have removable battery and maybe there is some battery better than original..
I looking for a battery with the original size dimension but more big than the original..but above all really big.. not only write on it.. but it must to be really extended..
if someone use some battery extended with original size and is certain that is extended can give me information about your battery life, screen on time and link for buy it?
Thanks
No suggestions?
Please note it is not physically possible to accommodate more capacity into the battery for the same size, if that was possible I guess samsung would had done that for us. However why not purchase extra charger and battery case made by samsung.
But I do see Mugen doing a change by providing 2750mAh battery of same size. Check here at amazon.
Or you might have to get large extended battery and find the best the chose from.
I think battery up to 3500 mAh on ebay can suited the original back cover (according to seller description). Many of those selling these batteries on ebay, but I still haven't try one. Maybe later I'll try.

No, impossible. They claim to be 3500's but the are not. Most/all of the aftermarket high(er) capacity batteries are bogus, capacity wise.
above user is correct, don't go for chinese counterfeits claiming 3500 in same capacity and dimensions. I think the mugen is the only one out there, but its rather a stupidity.

i found this http://www.ebay.it/itm/ZeroLemon-2x...hone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item19e14ab68c&_uhb=1
its seems 3000mAh.. but i dont know this ZeroLemon and if this battery are good..
someone know or use this 3000mAh ZeroLemon?
Ps. Thanks guys for your replys :good:
I had a Zero Lemon slim extended battery on my SGS3. It was 2400mah vs the stock 2100. It was pretty good, giving an extra 30-45 minutes or so extra screen time and another 90-120 minutes of run time. If you find you're just cutting it close at the end of the day and you can't charge mid-day, it's worth the $20 for a pair of them plus a charger. You can get them on Amazon too. I haven't bought the S4 versions yet but I plan to - my wife and I can each get a little more battery life for a total of $20 that way.
You lose NFC, though. that's probably why they have a higher capacity - no NFC antenna. If you use that feature, or S-Beam or whatever, skip the Zero Lemons.

Hi guys,
nobody have tryed this battery http://www.ebay.it/itm/ZeroLemon-2x...hone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item19e14ab68c&_uhb=1 on GS4?
I'd like to know if is good battery, if is not dangerous and if is true extendend..
thanks
I ended up with a Hyperion because it would fit the Seidio Extended (and it did perfectly). I was not at all impressed with the reviews on teh 3000mah ZeroLemon because it seems like it was thicker than the stock battery and put a bit of a bulge on the battery door. I was afraid it would not fit cases properly so I skipped it.

i researched a lot on zerolemon ...
their product is good and is as stated no scams !!
i couldnt buy it coz they were charging $19.99 + $17(shipping) and i bought the original samsung battery kit for $32 where i live .....
but i had researched a lot on the company before making the decision towards them.... only regret is samsung gave me 1 battery + charger 1.7mAh .... zerolemon was giving 2 batteries + chrager 600mAh.... so i basically traded only battery for a charger that charges a battery in 1hr and 30mins 0% --> 100% .....
so whats the best rate for getting a good 12 to 14 hour outta your batt

Touch Diamond will be equiped with 1000 mAh battery without sacrificing the shape, size and impression of using extended battery.
That's great, although the capacity isn't that much higher than the original....
Release date?
100 ???
will that really make a real diffrance????
The Mugen webpage tells release date is end of August. There might have not much difference between the OEM 900 mAh with this 1000 mAh, but it is good that Mugen can enhance the battery by this 100 mAh. User can still choose to buy OEM extended battery which has 440 mAh more but has to use another cover with extended size.
you guys say its not that much - but its an 11% increase! which if your battery lasts 24 hours now - this new one will be an extra 2 and a half hours - its up to you guys if its worth it - im considering it!

I'm not too impressed with the lifetime of the Mugen batteries. I've had two in different PDA's and I've experienced short lifetimes.
not as short as the life in my diamond battery!
Seidio say they will have an OEM sized extended battery that will be more along the lines of 1100mah.. That's the one I'm waiting for.

I wonder of its lifetime - some of my rechargable 2500 mAh last shorter than those of 2000 mAh running the exact same device after a few usages. Let's hear the experience once you have tried it.
No probs - if they ever release it... They said end of July, so I guess we can expect it any day now.

Well, there is an OEM sized battery on Siedos site now, but it is only 1000 mAh.
In europe the diamond have a 900mAH so 1000mAH doesn't give more. Perhaps 1 or 2 hours in stand by ?

I know - what a shame....
It's a shame the promised capacity hasn't appeared, but the 11% increase will certainly help me. With the original to carry as a spare I doubt I'll have to change often, but atleast I'll have the option.
As far as the HTC delay is concerned, I have a feeling they may surprise us, with an original sized extended capacity. Their theme is 'innovation' afteral, and there have been some interesting developments in Lion batteries recently. They have the punch to make investments in the right place. I'm holding out hope anyway lol.

There is one little issue with these kind of batteries, they may catch fire if not properly designed and for the phone. I the east you get batteries rated from A to AAA depending on how good they are and the risk. It doesn't happen often but make sure your phone is ventilated (not put on a carpet or covered) while recharging over night
Do you believe what capacity they print on that battery??? I wouldn't unless someone test it. I used to work with Cadex battery analyzer and believe me, there are so many lies on batteries even brand new ones as GP, Energizer, etc. Consider buying it...
You better buy this one for 7USD with worldwide free shipping:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15620
It was $10 with free shipping so I thought it was worth a shot... I received it about 2 days ago and I cannot tell the difference between the stock battery..
This sucks!
So yes, obviously I didn't expect it to be 4500 mah for $10 but I thought it will be at least 3200 or 3000. It is not.
I just want to warn others before they buy it and to hear other peoples experiences if there are any.
If you want a decent extended battery, buy the Hyperion.
I have that batt and the matching honeycomb case you can get with it and I love it.
I never have to worry about battery life anymore (even running stuff like iheart radio or Sirius online which both totally kill battery life)
I even like the feel/weight of the phone with it installed. When I bought it, I figured I would only use it occasionally. Now that I am used to using it, I never take it off the phone. The phone with the standard battery and my awesome rock quicksand case feels way too thin to me now (something I never thought I would say)
thanks morton....
I will try to see if I can return this battery.
I looked at amazon for the battery you recommended. I found it but I also found another battery: (I can't post a link)
It's called QCell and it is rated at 4200.
Any thoughts on this one?
The one you recommended is more popular but this one has NFC and it also has much more reviews.
Another thing to consider is the separate cradle battery charger that comes with a 2100 battery. This way there is always a battery on charge for a quick swap.
Weigh it. At the most basic, the amount of active material in a battery determines its overall capacity. A 4500mAh battery should be significantly heavier (roughly double) than the stock battery.
Another vote here for the Hyperion 4000 mAh battery. Very happy with it!!!

From the past, NFC and kickstand has been done with other phone models, wireless charging might not be possible.
There might be a stand along wirless charging battery by anymode (samsung sister/partner company or a third party one), but this one has not been confirmed.
I never needed one for my S4, so I am guessing I will get by without a second on the S5. I do have a 7800 mah portable charger that we bring along on trips and events should anyone need to power up. Battery life has definitely improved since my Thunderbolt/ Galaxy Nexus days.

Not sure about Anker and other 3rd party batteries. Steve Litchfield did a test on several 3rd party batteries (inc. Anker) and they all don't hold as much charge as the original. You can get physically bigger ones but they don't appear to be as energy dense as the originals. Still for the price, they made sense as spare/back up batteries compared to originals.

That is what i meant. The Anker i had with my S4 wasn't as good as the original but not far off. So comparing Anker vs original it was probably better value pound for pound. You could probably get 2 Anker ones for the price of a Samsung.
I go with Seideo myself. They are quite expensive but the extended battery + Case/Clip combo works well. I started with them on my Palm Pre and have bought their stuff for every phone after that. Generally their cases and clips hold up well and the batter adds a few days worth of life. Your mileage may vary though.
I found this 5600mA extended battery here:

Hi,
Just last month I picked up Galaxy Note 4 and I need a spare battery backup. My last Galaxy S3 has several spares from mpj, but I am now having a tough time deciding which kind of spare battery for the Note 4. My concern with the mpj 6440 mah is the increased size/weight with the case, but on the other hand extended battery life is going to be exactly twice times as capacious as the standard battery. I’ve never used extended battery, how did you guys adapt to them? Is it worth a try?
I have a selection for different use cases. I've got some OEM batteries to swap out when needed, and a Hyperion extended battery for those times when a bulkier phone is less trouble that swapping batteries.
If you're ok with adding some bulk to your phone, you're definitely should give it a try. Basically, you have 2 options: Hyperion (8000 mAh, not much of the bulk) and Zerolemon (10000 mAh, but makes Note 4 brick sized and have lots of issues with battery level reading). I'm waiting for my Hyperion to arrive, so from my point of view, I would recommend a Hyperion.

Mugen also has a battery coming out. It's 6640 mAh, which is basically twice the size of the oem battery and suppose to have Qi wireless charging and NFC for 89.99. Im going with the Hyperion myself
Mugen battery looks nice but its way too expensive (http://mugen.co/mugen-power-6640mah...-samsung-galaxy-note-4-with-battery-door.html). Zerolemon seems to have issues with calibration which sounds it is due to its TriCell. I for one am thinking of getting the Hyperion battery. However, I contacted ZeroLemon about a week ago and they told me that they were releasing a smaller size extended battery in 2 weeks. I would prefer this one, if its true, because they have a nicer case and hopefully its only a single cell battery also.

However, I contacted ZeroLemon about a week ago and they told me that they were releasing a smaller size extended battery in 2 weeks. I would prefer this one, if its true, because they have a nicer case and hopefully its only a single cell battery also.

Did they happen to say how big the battery would be?

Wow, they want to build some suspense, huh?
I've used extended batteries before but with the great battery life of the N4 and it's aggressively styled good looks I found having an extra battery is all I need. I actually don't even need it with my 7 hour screen on time but I like having even more than that for intense days. The spare battery gives me all the battery life I need plus some and my N4 doesn't look like a weapon/brick.

He probably using stock spare. Pics are posted all over threads of how the phone looks. Really just 2 options in looks . a ugly slippery back or a huge brick that can go for days. Either it depends on how bad u need the phone to survive.
BAD ASS NOTE 4 & BAD ASS GEAR S
Mugen Battery 6440 mAH
I got the Mugen battery for the Note 4 just for 4 days now and it is nice. I got around 10-12 hrs screen on time but the percentage is still dropping fast.
The back cover is fine for me (not slippery)
When I check CPU-Z the battery capacity states that it is only 3220 mAH, is it possible to adjust this? I found a Mugen battery profile app but it is outdated from 2013 and root is required.
Can anyone help me?
I've tried them in the past but the size of them always put me off in the end. Note 4 has adaptive fast charging so for me I could just plug it in at work mid day and bump back up to 100 before leaving the office and the whole thing became moot. Its a shame I need 2 charges to get me through the day though, but oh well.
The choices for extended battery cases are simply too insufficient!
Zerolemon is the best it protect you phone and also support NFC :good:
