[Q]What is CM10.2 missing that 10.1 has? - Asus Transformer TF700

What is CM10.2 missing that 10.1 has?
All the drama over losing the TF700 specific settings, was wondering what is missing.
I know these:
IPS+ = Max brightness,
Performance mode is making sure to run the CPU at 1.7 as an option.
What other device specific options were there in 10.1 and/or stock that are really missing?

Can someone post a screenshot of the Advanced menu item on their CM10.1 TF700?
Thanks!

[Q] CPU usage average numbers

AOSP Roms seem to have an option in the Developer options menu called "Show CPU Usage". This lists three numbers which should signify the CPU load on various time intervals.
Now, I read around and found that these numbers usually need to be between 0 and 1. Values under 1 are considered normal. The thing is, mine shows values way over 1. Usually it's in the 9's but it can actually go up to the 20's.
What I'm wondering is whether the scale for these values are different on an Android platform and so I need to interpret them differently, or is there something wrong with my device? If the latter, how can I track down the thing that keeps the CPU so busy? Or is it a hardware issue.
Just for general info. Device is T-Mobile Galaxy S2 (SGH-T989) and I'm on CM10. I had the same high values on CM9 and also on a fresh clean install of CM10.

General Questions on the Jellybam ROM

For anyone using the Jellybam ROM, can you please try answering these questions? I am using the 12/15 build:
1) Is it possible to revert the "Settings" display so it is the scrolling menu type instead of it being split?
2) When typing very long WiFi passwords, the password seems to be clipped off at the screen's edge and the password can no longer be seen. Can this be fixed?
3) The AOKP ROM Control for Performance doesn't seem to work correctly for CPU settings when Set on boot is turned on (it doesn't set on boot). However, the Set on boot under Settings -> Performance seem to work correctly.
4) When adding a widget on the homescreen, the text there seems to be white (cannot be seen). If you hold-tap the item, you can see its description, but goes back to white once you release the tap. Can this be fixed?
5) I seem to been having wake lock issues when using this ROM under the Smartassv2 governor. When I do this with a min of 192Mhz, the phone seems to be always awake despite Wifi is off, airplane mode is on, and auto sync is turned off. Any ideas why this might be? Do you think this is an application bug, kernel issue, or something else? (I am using rohan's b6 kernel now). I don't remember seeing this when I was on dirty rom's stock kernel.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Also to add:
6) The input selector seems to be on despite it being unchecked under Settings -> Language & input -> Selector notification. Is there another setting which may have turned this on?
7) For AOKP, there is a toggle for Tether, however, this seems to be USB tethering - is there another way to have a toggle for WiFi AP? I know the Cyanogenmod power bar has this, although the buttons seem a lot larger than the ones in AOKP. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I guess I figured out these:
6) Looks like there is also a Show IME Switcher setting inside AOKP settings - disabled that and it went away
1) Seems like the setting was called Dual panel inside AOKP settings
2) Looks like the settings were messed up on the Paranoid settings for the Settings app - did a Reset on that and it seemed to have cleared up.

[Q] Tab2 with SetCPU problem

Hello everyone.
I have rooted my tab 2 (model: P5110 running official android 4.1.2)
I recently installed the setCPU and tried to create some profiles
for example: working in 1008 mhz in performance mode while charging
However, after I screen off, it would be powered off automatically and I have to long press the power button to power on again.:crying:
I guess that it is not about the profile I set but the setCPU crashed in Tab2.
Is there any method to solve the problem or cannot not use the setCPU?
Thanks a lot !
I am guessing you are using stock kernel as well?
You will need to install a custom kernel that will allow you to overclock to use SetCPU.
With stock kernel, you don't have an option of changing CPU clock speed. I don't know if that is why you are having problems.
Yes, I am using the stock kernel.
I am not going to overclock my tab2 to 1.2Ghz or even higher
but I just want to increase the minimum clock speed since tab 2 is very lag.
For example running at full speed while you are charging the tab
install android tweaker from play store for better perfomance
It's known problem. I called it, sleep too deep. Do not play around with the CPU governor if you are using stock kernel.
Yes, you will need a custom kernel before you can mess around with CPU settings.

[Q] DorimanX kernel i9100 - battery profile - what does it do?

Hello everyone,
I installed the DorimanX kernel on my i9100 and this kernel solved a lot of issues with my phone.
However, I can't find a manual anywhere that explains all the options that this kernel brings.
What I would like to know the most is the profile function, specifically the "battery profile" option.
What does this do?
Obviously this is a profile intended to save the battery life, but how does it work, what options does it enable?
I would like to know this before using this profile.
Anyone that can point me in the right direction or can tell me what this profile does?

Any way to quick swap between 720p 1080p and 1440p?

have any of you found a way to quick swap your display resolutions? I'm curious because I find myself switching from 1080 to 1440p and vice versa in different situations, like when my phone's on the charger and when my phone's not near a charger. Any ideas would be nice!
Also unrelated to the topic ( I don't want to make a new one)
My previous phone on Verizon (Galaxy Note 5) was able to send and receive MMS while connected to Wifi. Why is it that the Galaxy S8+ can't? and how do I set it up so that it can?
You can change the Performance Mode to High Performance, there's a quick-view setting in the notification drawer. That changes your display to QHD. Just switch back to Optimized when you want to go back to FHD (and you can change the optimized settings to go to 720 as well).
