Will most likely be ordering one myself, only downside is that NFC will most likely not work

Slightly cheaper than the seidio solution.
4500 mah battery 70 + extended case 35 = 105
Albeit I think the seidio version probably has a more rugged and safe case than the morphie.
Morphie does seem smaller possibly and more stream line looking.

That is so stupid. Paying 100$ for something to .ale your phone last a bit longer? Get extra batteries. Way cheaper and way easier. Hell you still get to use your favorite case.

Yeah I know. Plus we can use our good cases. and you don't need to charge it. That's what I hate the most. Charging my phone lol. So external batteries help. Only takes a minute to go back to 100%

I have anker
2 for 25$ and has the wallcharger. Well worth it.

Exactly. Something like the Mophie is only useful for devices without a removable battery.

Looks interesting. I know replacement batteries are cheaper, but I dont really want to have to take my phone apart to put a new battery in.

Youd rather pay 100$ rather then 20$ for that? Or 40 instead of 100$ for the zerolemon 7500 that youd never have to change?

I'm fairly new to the Samsung phone but I love the ability of having extra batteries at my disposal when I need it. I bought the Anker & Zerolemon to test them out & I couldn't be happier. I have 4 extra batteries on deck for less than $50.
Btw I detest plugging my phone for a charge.

What i paid and i doubt its much cheaper then that elsewhere so unless you want a crap battery i think its a really solid price

Not trying to start anything but that is just as "crappy" as batteries you mention.
Seidio is known for their overpricing, you do NOT get $74 of battery when you buy that, not even $60. For ~$20 I'd just go for the OEM 1800mAh slim battery from the Epic Touch....just kidding I'd get two extendeds for $19 shipped *NEW*
I actually just took out my seido for the first time in a long time. I'm so tired of the back coming off. Plus everyone looks at my phone like it's a mutant with that back piece. Feels so much thinner

i would do it you dont really need a protective case just get a screen cover and a battery with a new back plate i like the 3500mah the back plate i got with it is perfect a little bigger but so worth it you can get the cheap on ebay just look for good feed back. Mine works like a champ and if any thing happens i just use my old battery and back plate.
sucks that the cover wont stay on. I need something to extend my battery.

Best battery?

Pretty much which is the best battery without having to change the back cover, and nfc or not.

I've got one of the Hyperion batteries. They sell them as a standalone product without the charger. The battery is about what you would expect for the $10 cost. As I expected, it doesn't last quite as long as the included battery, but it makes a good backup battery for when you need a little extra juice. The amazon reviews say that the charger is low quality, so i bought the RND dock off amazon to go with it. I'm new here so I can't post the link yet, sorry.
Thanks that's really helpful. If I may ask what kind of case or screen protector do you like?

According to reviews they get about 3 hours more...they're rated at 2250 mAh. Should be getting them Wednesday so I'll update when they arrive.
I always recommend getting 2 batteries and an external battery charger. I am never without a battery and just have to remember to pop a dead battery in the charger when I get home from work.
Honestly... The best battery for the skyrocket are the factory ones. Not bulging back and the mah is accurate. They are pricey @$35 a pop, but they are the best we can get.

I've got the otterbox commuter series. It's a nice case for what I need it for. Only thing is I have to take it off to use the dock or change batteries. Also best buy included an invisible shield protector on my phone (some BS policy they have). I never would have bought it on my own but it's a decent screen protector if you can get it installed right.

I was looking at either the commuter or, there is a seido active armor case. I got a decent .20 cent case to hold me over till I buy a pricey one.
I've heard problems regarding otterbox cases and the screen protector regarding dirt to be able to get under the protector. And the screen being scuffed if you ever cleaned it. Have you noticed anything like that?

Two batteries from Samsung? Do they sell a two pack with a charger? The reason l looked at the Hyperion was because of its charger. (Digging through the reveiws about charger problems people appear to be breaking off pins)
I like the idea of Samsung batteries since they would have nfc.

I have the commuter series case. It doesn't include a screen protector. But from the reviews I've seen of the defender, the speaker and camera holes are unprotected which allows dirt to get under it.

Well, I received these batteries several days early...was scheduled for this coming Wednesday and instead they arrived this past Saturday. Fully charged a battery, and today is my first day using them, but I can say that the percentage is certainly not dropping as quickly as the stock battery. It's actually noticeable.
The battery fits well without a replacement cover, but of course doesn't include NFC capability...
I'm getting an extra 2-3 hours off of those batteries. Definitely worth $30 for 2 batteries and an external charger...

Battery help...fit with Otterbox Defender case

ok so i've had my phone for over a year, love it. not need to change phone at this time but the battery is in need of replacement. Thing is i have an otterbox defender case. i need the case and am not willing to give it up. i need some help with the biggest capacity battery that will fit under the stock case or replacement cover that will fit in the otterbox case? i have seen the nexus 2100mah batt getting some props, is that the biggest, best under stock cover at this time?

I use this one for my t989 (same battery as i727).

It does include a 1850mah stock battery.
With just two stock batteries I never plug the actual phone in.
I'm also waiting for the GNEX 2100mah in the mail from sprint.

I've had these before and the Anker charger would not charge the batteries up to 100%. On my S3 the charger took it to about 89-93%, but would never top off the charge. Will this charger take the Anker and stock batteries to 100% every time?
Thanks

Does it cause the back cover to bulge? Worried about that as while it probably wouldn't matter if you weren't using a case or were using a flexible plastic one it would likely be an issue in the Kraken case I'm using...
Otherwise seems like a good deal.
Thanks.
I don't get why its such a good deal? Our stock batteries are 2600mah too. Is it just because having 2 extra batteries and a wall charger?

It's hard to tell. Nothing noticeably sticks out. There may be a little bulge, still, it could be my imagination.
It definitely wouldn't stop the phone fitting in cases.
