i can confirm this confirmation
I'm actually trying to find a place that sell only the back cover for the extended battery so that I can re-use the Hyperion extended battery from my S3.

Ah, so i'm guessing then my zeroLemon battery (case) from S3 will not work then eh?

Hyperion cases usually go on sale solo, i have never seen ZeroLemon though, it's very specific case for these batteries. i doubt they will have cases by themselves.

I know that it wasn't available two months ago. Has there been anything new regarding this? Any cases for the phone with extended battery?

prob not, i know for my old Droid 2 there were hardly any cases that supported the moto extended battery (i think 1 did)
Since i still can't tell if samsung actually has an official extended battery they say that supports the charge, i can't see many manufactures making one.

I have the official Samsung extended battery. But for some reason it's not really marketed a whole lot. Go figure.

Probably because it turns the phone into a brick.

I actually prefer the heft. Thought the stock slim battery is too light and weak. The extended battery is giving me 18-22 hours of moderate usage.

Yea, I must admit i havent seen a case for it anyplace. not even in china. I hear it fits inside a clip. i tried mine. but it seems to JUST fit. and floppy. prob will fall out
Hyperion now has a silicon skin that fits with their 3500mAh extended battery. The description says it should also fit with most other 3500mAh or 3600 mAh extended batteries.

Just ordered this case, will post my opinion of it as soon as I get it.

Thanks. I just installed my new Hyperion extended battery yesterday and it is too slippery I dropped it once already. Out of necessity, I cut out a hole on the standard size case. It's doable, but ugly from the back, which I don't care since I only see the front side anyway. Lol.
I'm more interested in how the front facing buttons would operate and feel with the rubbery cover.
TIA
ok so i've had my phone for over a year, love it. not need to change phone at this time but the battery is in need of replacement. Thing is i have an otterbox defender case. i need the case and am not willing to give it up. i need some help with the biggest capacity battery that will fit under the stock case or replacement cover that will fit in the otterbox case? i have seen the nexus 2100mah batt getting some props, is that the biggest, best under stock cover at this time?
Yes

I use this one for my t989 (same battery as i727).
http://amzn.com/B005LBEIEW
It does include a 1850mah stock battery.
With just two stock batteries I never plug the actual phone in.
I'm also waiting for the GNEX 2100mah in the mail from sprint.
Check this out on AMZN:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CBTZ2AG/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
Found this on amazon. 2 extra batteries, and a charger. For only 27 dollars. Too good to be true? Will it work for our phone?

Nope, I bought it for £21 on amazon UK. Batteries are about 0.5mm thicker, not that noticeable. NFC works and they last as long as OEM.

I've had these before and the Anker charger would not charge the batteries up to 100%. On my S3 the charger took it to about 89-93%, but would never top off the charge. Will this charger take the Anker and stock batteries to 100% every time?
Thanks

If anything goes wrong, just send them back for being 'defective'. They must pay for P&P in returning. I myself haven't had this problem.

Does it cause the back cover to bulge? Worried about that as while it probably wouldn't matter if you weren't using a case or were using a flexible plastic one it would likely be an issue in the Kraken case I'm using...
Otherwise seems like a good deal.
Thanks.
I don't get why its such a good deal? Our stock batteries are 2600mah too. Is it just because having 2 extra batteries and a wall charger?

Yeah, it's just a good price. I wouldn't mind having 2 extra batteries and a wall charger for my work.

It's hard to tell. Nothing noticeably sticks out. There may be a little bulge, still, it could be my imagination.
It definitely wouldn't stop the phone fitting in cases.

Slightly cheaper than the seidio solution.
4500 mah battery 70 + extended case 35 = 105
Albeit I think the seidio version probably has a more rugged and safe case than the morphie.
Morphie does seem smaller possibly and more stream line looking.
That is so stupid. Paying 100$ for something to .ale your phone last a bit longer? Get extra batteries. Way cheaper and way easier. Hell you still get to use your favorite case.

Yeah I know. Plus we can use our good cases. and you don't need to charge it. That's what I hate the most. Charging my phone lol. So external batteries help. Only takes a minute to go back to 100%

Exactly. Something like the Mophie is only useful for devices without a removable battery.
Looks interesting. I know replacement batteries are cheaper, but I dont really want to have to take my phone apart to put a new battery in.

Youd rather pay 100$ rather then 20$ for that? Or 40 instead of 100$ for the zerolemon 7500 that youd never have to change?

I'm fairly new to the Samsung phone but I love the ability of having extra batteries at my disposal when I need it. I bought the Anker & Zerolemon to test them out & I couldn't be happier. I have 4 extra batteries on deck for less than $50.
Btw I detest plugging my phone for a charge.

What about the EC TECHNOLOGY 2800mah battery on amazon?
Is it really better than the stock battery?
Amazon reviews are saying it last much longer but dunno if its based on S4
Never heard of that brand but might as well go for the ZeroLemon 3000mAh battery

The ZeroLemon 3000mAh battery fits with the original back cover but it's a tight fit without NFC since it's 400mAh more
Have you looked up the Anker battery? That one is really good.
