But Is there some ways to use this without Flashing this into my device?
I recalled that there used to have apk version for this during the 4.1 period, you just need to install 4apk, and root the phone, then it is all done.

Hello,
I made an application that reboots your device on a button click. It is called Power Options and I would like to get your opinions and complaints/bugs. I want to say here that I am still fairly new to Android development so I may not be able to fix bugs as fast. Thank you for trying it and enjoy. This is for rooted devices.
*Note* I am not responsible if you mess up your phone in any way by trying this. I have not been able to test all of the features on all devices so I don't know which ones are safe for specific devices. I would recommend making a backup and charging to 100%

IIRC this will have photosphere. Other than that not sure.
Could someone give me a quick process for getting this on my one x. I haven't done this in a while so I'm a little rusty.
Would the process be...
1. Move the current gallery.apk to a back-up location
2. Install the apk that's contained within the zip file
3. reboot
or
1. Back-up/delete the current gallery.apk
2. Reboot into TWRP/Recovery
3. Install the new gallery.apk from the zip file
4. Reboot into ROM
Any assistance would be extremely helpful. I have been running the latest PACMan ROM and I haven't had the need to do much flashing for a while so I am rusty on the process.

I was able to get the new camera to work on my one x.
One thing that I was curious about was the Photosphere functionality. I can confirm that if it didn't work for you with the 4.2.2 camera on the One X, it still doesn't work with this camera on certain One X models. I believe there are two different gyroscope manufacturers for our phone and Photosphere only works with one of them. Regardless of camera version, so far at least.
Other than that the camera seems to work fine so far. I haven't compared the quality, etc.
Edit screen FC's for me, but everything else seems to work. Thanx.

Yes, I understand that it's been flashed on multiple devices. That's why I said you should check the original thread from my OP. My reasoning was that you are way more likely to get help in that thread, since it wasn't in a specific device forum, than the one I posted in the One XL forums.

Here's the standard camera app from jb , comes with photosphere which works with our phone.
Must be flashed in recovery and you will still have your moto camera app.
The advantage to using this is there's a actually shutter button on the screen which allows you take pic much quicker

Well, for anything other than Photosphere, I'm still more leaned to use Moto's camera app, you know? I like the slow motion vid, the layout... and I'm not even sure if I'm getting 10.5mpx with the stock Android camera app... which doesn't matter for Photospheres, but for everything else, I'd rather keep .
Moto camera definately comes with more options, for those who want the money shot in slo mo , moto camera it is

Yeah I would assume so. That's just one less application that I'm not using that doesn't have to be loaded and stored in the davlik cache on boot. Odex files are just code from an apk that is loaded in the davlik cache on boot up for loading that app quicker, so the DVM just has one less app to load. If I don't plan on every using that app again than I don't see why it would hurt.

Here is a thread I started a while ago. At the time I had just frozen these apps but now they are gone...

Now that we have full root, has anyone determined what bloatware can be safely removed? I'm tempted to just start. Got a backup, so what could it hurt.

Hi, Can you tell me where is all this bloatware are located in the phone directory?
Because i have tried to uninstall them with Rom Tool Box Lite with no success.
Will deleting those Verizon softwares removes the Unknown Sim Card window pops up on restart? ( I am using Tmobile)
Thanks
Is it's ok to remove all the .odex files?

I also use rom toolbox, but I have pro version. Very well worth it! All system apps are in the sys/app folder and can be removed from there if not using rom toolbox. I usually delete all data from the app first though and then remove. Just make a backup first
If you delete updater apk an download setting plugin it will remove the software update from your phone an settings.

I deleted the updater.apk and I don't have 'download setting plugin' ? Unless I'm looking in the wrong spot. Everything keeps coming back. I care less about the bloatware but really just want the old version of google maps back. 6.14 is infinitely better than 7.x !
I've tried deleting the cache and I even disabled 'auto update' in the play store first. Then deleted maps 7 and installed 6.14. It works fine until I restart the phone, and then it automatically updates without any intervention for me before I can do anything. It's like it installs 7.x during boot up.
