Hello,
I made an application that reboots your device on a button click. It is called Power Options and I would like to get your opinions and complaints/bugs. I want to say here that I am still fairly new to Android development so I may not be able to fix bugs as fast. Thank you for trying it and enjoy. This is for rooted devices.
*Note* I am not responsible if you mess up your phone in any way by trying this. I have not been able to test all of the features on all devices so I don't know which ones are safe for specific devices. I would recommend making a backup and charging to 100%

Hello all,
I recently made an application and I wanted to share it here. Please tell me how good it is or how I can improve it. Also, please report any bugs you find
Edit: Root is required
Enjoy.
*Note* I am not responsible for anything like bricked devices, etc. I have not tested all of these features on all devices so you do so at your own risk.

Yes. Useful when your using Aokp to change the navbar or something like it. I change the navbar icons on the tablet and always need to restart systemui so the statusbar/navbar will restart.

This is the only one of the ICS roms that caused trouble. installed with tiny fonts, on reboot it went into bootloops, and I had to reinstall from stock. Everything was wiped before installation.

It has tiny font cause I set its density to 200dpi by default - cause its given me best experience , if u dont like it, u can set the build.prop, at the density line to 240 and everythig should be ok (or flash another font I provided to have thicker font...other than that, I have no issues except ones from OP

I had no problems with installation. I experienced slight lag while scrolling apps, but I'm sure the Rom just needed to cook some more before I started messing with stuff lol. I loved the tiny font, the settings menu scrolls like butter and the response time for bringing up the multitask menu is amazingly fast.
Really really nice rom!!! Love the message app.

a few times a day typically - so its just me experiencing this, eh?
@MatisyahuSerious haven't had that problem. I deleted all my music but i tried test tones for ya. No error though the test is only 5 seconds.
Does it stop in the middle or at the begining?
Could be a corrupt file?
And as for the lag in the app drawer I mentioned earlier, haven't had the problem since i jumped back into the rom.
I love the theme.
Thanks.
Love it
I am loving the rom however It is not allowing me to download a lot of my apps from the playstore. I recently wanted to load my lose it app but it tells me that my device is not supported. What does the play store see the phone as? Thank you in advance.
Edit build.prop and change dpi to 240 or you might be able to do it from the actual settings menu.
That's weird because I thought I would have issues with the dpi and the Play Store but I do not. I wonder why others have it
Based on asanti_c-user-4.0.4-7.7.1Q-6_SPR-125_ASA-14
Trying to finish off what I know how to do on this ROM, I no longer own this phone but I will try my best to help solve any issues I may have caused lol. Hopefully someone can pick this up and do more with it than I know how to.
Whats been done:
Removed Google Play Bloat like magazines, shopper, and the rest- can redownload from the market if you want them
Updated stock apps (possibly not on the latest versions let me know which ones aren't and I'll have them updated for the final build1)
build.prop tweaks
zipalign on boot
sqlite optimize on boot
latest 1.0.5 superSU app and binary
advance powermenu (thanks rangerbry)
1% battery icon and toggles (thanks rangerbry)
few media_profile.xml edits
Opted framework jars and apks
Smooth scroll hack
Deodexed
Zipaligned Mx0
init.d enabled
Sped up some integers in the framework
Removed 300kb data throttle
Tweaked how it handled memory (not minfree/multitasking mods but actually how it handles memory for the better)
Unsecure boot.img for ADB commands (can remount and push/pull)
Added busybox, bash, sysro/sysrw, zipalign, and sqlite3 binaries
Enabled toggle in camera app to disable shutter sound (under settings in the camera app)
Disabled ongoing IME switcher notification
DOWNLOAD LINK
Notes:
This is pre-build1. Build1 will probably be the last build for this ROM. I'm reaching the end of my road on what I know how to do and I don't own the phone anymore. Probably sometime tomarrow I'll upload a plain stock rooted ROM for people to mess with if they want to make their own ROM theres no point in reinventing the wheel trying to get it to flash or work properly from scratch. I encourage you to download the stock roms or even this rom and make more ROMs for this phone! I really hope I at least got the ball rolling.

Why can't you boot to recovery...?
Hold power + vol down until the phone shuts off. Then hold power + vol up to turn it on, keep holding vol up until you see CWM.
Thank you very much arrrghhh!
I am able to get into recovery, factory reset, re-installed rom, cleared dalvik cash. All is good now.
Not sure why it didn't take the first time.
I worked on this port for future upcoming MOAR port. Check out my MOAR Port here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40195123 This is bare bones stock rooted deodex from freeza build I've only ported to Verizon. I have been undecided on if I should release or not. I decided its a very stable leak and its what it is. Stock with premium suite. All goes without saying I'm not responsible for anything you do to your phone if it explodes or just doesn't turn on your in full control of your own stuff.

How to submit a bug.
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it.
Otherwise I might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
Make a nandroid backup.
Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem do you're having.
--When you're having a problem with a ROM function flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
--When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
Post the logcat in a txt file or on pastebin (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed how we can reproduce the bug.
Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

battery mod
I put this in this thread because i use it on this deodexed rom
I have been searching and experimenting and yesterday i finally found a working battery mod for our tab
hook up your tablet to the computer
Start OGBatteryMod.exe
just use the first option and choose to add styles then the rest goes automatic and is being installed to your tablet and rebooted
In my case there was no battery icon after reboot
but after going to the settings and selecting a different one it worked fine , no reboot required to change the icon either
all u have to do is go to the settings and display and u can choose the different styles and functions at the battery style section
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38905053

Now a icon shows up in the status bar that lets me switch the usb modes if needed
