Hi,
I am new to this forum so could not post this question to the original jelly shot 3.2 thread where a user has posted similar question
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39435005&postcount=1699
I am facing exactly same issue where the phone becomes unresponsive and dead until i pull out the battery and reboot it.
Seems like a sleep of death issue.
Tried fixing permission & clearing caches..but same issue.
ROM was installed by flashing ROMWiper first & then installing this.
Recovery: TWRP
ROM: JellyShot 3.2
Kernel: Marmite 7.2
Model: I9020T (T-Mobile Edition)
Let me know how i can resolve this issue or gather some logs for the ROM developer or move this post to the actual thread
Thanks,
Zoom

Already tried flashing/wiping couple of times, but after 2-3days...it begans to show SOD!
Stock Jelly Bean was stable and never exhibited this behavior...neither i am overclocking
Any other debugging or logs i can gather to investigate this further?
Finally...nailed the culprit! Autokiller Memory Optimizer was causing those SODs...
Uninstalled & since then the ROM is working like mint...awesome smooth!
Thanks for the Great Work.
Team,
I am facing a peculiar problem on my Galaxy R.. Ever since I had upgraded from GB to ICS, I have been facing this issue.
During middle of the phone conversation, call goes blank for 15 seconds and disconnects.. This happens after 5-10 minutes into conversation and this is not a regular issue. Signal strength is good but can't single out the issue.
I had upgraded from GB to ICS - XWLP2 during December 2012 - problem observed - changed to Indian ICS - DDLP3 during February 13 - same issue observed - recently moved to CARBON ROM after following the procedure - baseband is still DDLP3..
Still facing the same issue..
Has anyone faced this issue before ? Any suggestions would be very helpful
PS : Have searched the entire forum - but no luck to find similar issue..
Folks.. I guess you haven't faced such issue before.. no replies but many views..
Any way, I had tried bit of troubleshooting today.. Since this was the problem ever since I upgraded from GB, I had downloaded the stock GB ROM (super stable - ZSLE6) and followed the specific procedure as mentioned in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106424 to extract "modem.bin" from the tar file and flashed using ODIN..
So far looks good.. able to flash properly and test with couple of calls. Keeping my fingers crossed..Will observe for few more days and post here..
So now my current config is
CARBON ROM
ARDADAT Kernel
GB Baseband - ZSLE6..
I am on XXLQ3 baseband on cm10.1 and have not been having any issues at all.. maybe its a baseband issue... do check and revert..
So I've been rooting and dabbling with Android since Droid OG.... great start to the post right?! At this point I've successfully unlocked bootloader and put a few different ROMs onto my VZW GS3 16GB. I currently have Synergy 4.1.2 JB ROM with the stock kernel via AROMA installer from the ROM Dev. Everything worked from the gate, but my camera wouldn't initialize. Through searching these forums, I found that if I flashed the VRBMF1 Stock Kernel it should fix the camera. When I flashed it, the camera issue was fixed! The issue that I'm running into now is that my WiFi isn't operable. I can't turn it on at all. Through more searching, I learned that others had similar issues; however there seem to be various fixes/workarounds. Due to the fact that I need to have at least 10 posts before posting this to the OP/Original Thread, I figured that maybe some of you AMAZING community members would be kind enough to assist. So... thoughts?
Baseband
I thought that I should also add that I have the MF1 modem and baseband of I535VRUCML1.
LogCat
At this point I haven't got a logcat, so if one is needed I'll have to install it and attach the output here.
fixed it
Just in case anyone is curious about this, I dirty flashed the rom again with Stock Kernel. Then I flashed KT717 Kernel. This solved Wifi and Camera issues.
I currently have an old Samsung GT-P3113 running SlimKat 4.4.4 KitKat. Because the CPU is running at a speed of 1 GHz I've been trying to find a kernel so I could overclock my tablet. Every kernel I tried has resulted on it getting stuck on the Logo screen and I had to reinstall the ROM over 10 times so far. Does anyone know a usable combination? If so please tell me the combination. Thanks in advance
Are you sure the kernels you've been using are compatible with kitkat? most of the kernels for this device are marshmallow
I've been having the same issue I have some epic lag issues on stock Gt-P5100 so I decided to root and change time to see if I find something that works for me so I've tried different roms and kernels but just to end up hanging on the boot screen
Last rom I flashed is cm 13 and looking to try out agni kernel but can't find any links for it
Old kernel aren't meant to work with new roms. There's a lot of stuff which Changed in the meantime.
I have looked for weeks for these. I have the tab on 4.0.4 rooted with a custom recovery. I was going to try the blamesamsung kernel to get rid of the lag with the stock rom, or just flash CM 9 which I know works. I can't find any downloads for either. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
