Use the stock browser and set it to desktop mode.
If I understand what you are saying as you have possibly the most minimalist title I have ever seen.

Hey all,
I have a touch pro with the original rom (not really wanting to change roms at this point) but i am wondering if there was simply a battery indicator out there like on some roms with percentage that i can simply change with the original battery icon without changing anything major?
I dont know much about how flash it yet etc.
I have done a search on this and have found quite a few pages but for some reason the icons i'm downloading dont seem to work at all.
Thank you.
Here...............there 10 characters
Thank you thehyecircus.
I have win 6.1.. your download should still work am i correct?

theres also one called FlNixOVer that you should search for.
Hey,
I wondered if anybody yet stumbled upon this:
If you set your Virtual Device in Android SDK to 800x480 px, Target: Android 3.0 (API level 11) and hw.lcd.density to 200 (or 240), you don't get the "normal" Honeycomb design, but instead a more greyish and blue Version of a Gingerbread-like design.
Also you get some new features known from the tablet os.
There is also a Incognito function in the browser and a Youtube setting in Camera.
Like on Tablet, Some apps have big bars on top with their Icons (sometimes clickable) on front. (They probably won't make it to the final release, though as it wastes space...)
Plus screen rotation looks neat.
Also the Launcher app has 3d animations similar to the "normal" honeycomb launcher.
Settings don't work properly, though.
Also I cannot provide screenshots at the moment as I am at work.
Keyboard keys for navigating:
pos1 = home,
NUM 7 = turn screen (deactivate numlock),
Screen up = menu.
But as probably this has been Issued before (yet I couldn't find it in search), just ignore this thread.
Crud, you could've made Engadget like that other dude, how come nobody saw this earlier?

i wonder why there is no one who could make the android US´s smooth !!!
why is the app drawer on lg optimus speed so much smoother than on sensation ??
there must be a trick ... a hint .. something .... something to adjust the framerate of the animation ??!!! something like that ??
in windows mobile it was the registry !!!! there must be a way to give the animations of sense more frames !!!!
dont you think ??? couse i dont think its the power of the phone thats limiting the animation speed !!!

use a different launcher... adw/launcherpro/etc...
The "circle" unlock screen should still be there with another launcher.. but I suppose you lose the Sense widgets etc. are the quick settings pulldown etc still there with a custom launcher?
The app drawer animation only has 3 frames from what I can see. It's not lagging as it's the same every time. I think it's actually been designed to jump to 90% then 95% then 100% of the screen.
...and when it goes down it scrolls down, then goes full screen again, then scrolls down to the bottom again. Weird!!
i promise you will notive a difference when phone is rooted and overclocked to max
Hello forum,
Not sure where to post this, but since the issue occured on my tf300t, i'll just procede with the post making whhoop whoop xD
In first place I've tried every browser out there, and uc it's definitly the browser that serves my daily needs, but it still as some problems...
When I write on a textbox, comment section on fb for example, the keyboard pops up but the browser doesn't go up or resizes... Well this is a huge problem because the keyboard just covers the text areas and I can't really see what I'm writting.
The second problem is, now with the new update, a damn button (ughhh so annoiyng) appers every time when I go to youtube, the button functionality is to see videos offline... This button in the lower right section of the screen just blocks the youtube options(720p etc) and I cant change this options or resize the damn window because this btn is on front... :'(
Im running the cm 10.1 nightlies with perf kernel, standard keyboard from this rom
Thank u very much for your time and if it's not possible to fix this please sugest alternative browsers
Best regards,
Absinto10
Hello !
I've installed IC 3.7.0 + Exceed Kernel + Synapse and the phone work well
There is just one thing that I don't like at all ... but I don't know if it depends from InsertCoin or not.
I have an old Desire X with Sens 4.1+ and the HTC browser allows to enter a "read mode" that is useful for reading newspaper's articles ! When you click a little square icon near the web address (see photos in attachment), the page is re-opened in a "read mode", without banners, colors or pop-up, but just a clean text page ! ... like word or PDF texte.
I've downloaded also the last HTC browser .apk but there no way to find this option...
Does anybody know how to find/install this future ?
... mmmh ... no replies, no idea ?

Hey ya
For now I'm having android 5.1 (cm12.1) but as I can recall from IC, there was no reader mode on default browser But as an alternative, there's a reader mode on chrome browser which is hidden under chrome flags :good: Here's how to enable it:
1. Open Chrome (make sure you're running the latest version) and type chrome://flags in the address bar. Press Go.
2. Head to Menu > Find on Page and search for "Enable Reader Mode Toolbar Icon". Click the Enable link under that setting.
3. Relaunch Chrome when prompted.
Hope that would help you
That works
I don't understand why HTC has not implemented this future in Sense 6. I've taken a look to HTC site and "read mode" is only for few old models, some Desires and One V. I think the stock ROM of One mini doesn't have this option, it's not a bug of IC.
Anyway, I've to say that HTC browser, in my device, it is more smooth and the text re-size is nice, Chrome is faster but not as fluent as HTC...
In the other hand Chrome has "read mode" and you can also modify the text size !
Thank you !!
:good:
sorry for the dumb question: I enabled the option but can't find a damn symbol for it. where is it?
