If you search in the forums, there are several cabs that change the topbar. Get one of them and a resource editor (I use PE-Editor) and you can change the icons.
I'm getting my warhawk (pure/diamond2) tomorrow
In the mean time (I can NOT guarantee compatibility...), try this:

or this

I remeber writing a tutorial on how I make my taskbars, can't pin-point you to where it was, but it should be @ post 2 of some of those threads
Please take a look and come back with your oppinion, which series should I port to Topaz first ???
PS: the SEX1 Battery enhancer is the only mod already tested and confirmed working on Topaz/Diamond2:

.
Everything for the HD should work except your data bar (pure).
I worked for a few days with a developer here and it was finally decided that it was one that may not be able to be changed easily.
THere's also some dll's you can rename/copy, but those might create unstability on the pure.
I had a TP2, should be same as imagio, and on ppcgeeks mightymike hacked a HD one to work on CDMA.
Thanks for all responds, I havent tried any thing of this but i am gonna try to make my own icons and upload it.
does anyone know how to get this app working on the leo ???

yea i want to know it, too
You can Kinda get it working quite easily, just install the 2.02 version then copy the htcapi.dll file into the \program files\Diamond Hologram folder.
Only issue I have is the texture image disapears? I'll look into that.
The Zip has 2 versions of the DLL. If you want to try the other one, just rename it.

That works, but I can't see the targets. It just shows empty boxes and none of the other ones show up either...
I'm looking into it, see what can be done
good good I'd love to see this working !
bump bump !
only works fluidly when using chainfire's driver patch and even then it stucks every few seconds...
anyone got anywhere with this ????
BUMP
I'd love to see a quality port of this to the leo, looks like fun
Edit: I did get it working on my leo thanks to the_ape, but like him I didnt have the icons D:
Seems the version's of the DLL going about are not fully compatible with the Leo's drivers, I'm having a look, see what can be done.

Well for all those wondering this works perfectly fine, it just shows empty boxes instead of the icons.
It would sure be nice to get them, but if you want to try it you can give it a go.

same for me
it works fine on mine,well...slow as can be but i get everything onscreen.im using rom 1.66.405.2
It would be nice to be able to set it as a background! well, I´m not asking, it´s just my fantasy
Clearly been forgotten
nooooooooooo i still want this badly !!!
Me too, doesnt seem to look right without the icons. Giving it a custom background sped it up for me, even though you cant see it.
So is there no hope of getting this to work on the Leo?
Without Chainfire's drivers, the program works in the sense that you can see the icons... except, it's limited to like under 2FPS which makes it not usable.
Ok, I want a new battery meter for my Tp2, as the original one sucks (4 bars). I'm looking for one exactly like the finixnover one (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424926). I used the tp1 (raphael) cab and the battery meter works perfect, only thing is the other icons included in that cab don't work (black square on the taskbar where the sound used to be). So I'm either lookin for someone to modify finixnover's cab (if he lets you/us) or someone to just make a new one with just that battery meter. I dont want anything else as the icons are good for now. Just want a new battery meter. Anyways, if someone can do this, I would appreciate it! TIA
I use tsowens taskbar. There is one with a battery meter and some pretty nice icons.

that tells you how to make your own icons. If you're not finding a pre-made taskbar with that icon you can just use the old file and make your own for the tp2.

Yessir. Followed all instructions to that link as well as others that had a battery meter similar to finixinovers.
I've been reading a couple of your posts, it seems like you might be having issues with your phone not being fully flashed. Have you tried task 29?

No sir. Tried finixinover's like 12 times lol.
After reading your post on the other section I'm inclined to believe you haven't fully cleared your storage before the latest ROM install. You might have to hard reset if this last fix doesn't work.
If you follow my post earlier in this thread about creating your own battery icon there might be some registry changes which you can make to fix it. Back up your registry and see if changing these registries helps you:
Make sure your registry says the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps]
"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:65 (Hex) or 101 (Dec)
"BatteryIconIdStart"=dword:3e9 (Hex) or 1001 (Dec)
"BaseDll"="phcanOverbmp.dll"
"BaseId"=dword:0

yea that is exactly where I found them. Its just hard you never know how much people actually read and understand the information.
You could try this. I know that it's kind of lengthy, but I have been using this battery meter almost since I got my Touch Pro 2 without any problems.
Ok so I guess this can be considered progress, idk. I uninstalled everything, drivers, proggies, and reinstalled them and did the registry edits. Different battery meter, no percentage, and my speaker icon is now gone...
input?
Haha yea.
Uninstalling:
(using phcanOverbmp.dll as an example)
If you have installed from the zip, there’s a few steps you’ll have to follow to get the old icons back.
1. Go to Windows folder on your device and rename phcanOverbmp.dll to phcanOverbmp.dll.bak and soft reset the device.
2. Now you can delete the phcanOverbmp.dll.bak that is no longer being used by the device.
3. To finalize the uninstall process and have the old battery icon back, you have to edit the following reg entry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps]
"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:65 (hexadecimal) or 101 (decimal) -> dword:15 (hexadecimal) or 21 (decimal)
NOTE:
You can follow the steps 1 and 2 to remove any dll/mui you have customized.
To perform file operations such as renaming and/or deleting, you must use a more powerful file explorer than the built in one. You should use something like Total Commander or Resco Explorer.
There's no need to backup the files you're going to edit! Why? Because you'll be replacing ROM files, and theses files are not really replaced.
The best way to explain it is that, they will remain "hidden" under the new file. Once you delete your edited file, the original ROM file will be "unhidden". So, to have the original file, just delete your edited one.
Taken from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437307. BTW, both the volume icon and battery icon are taken from those files, so it should work and possibly give you some more to go off of.
Ok maybe I should have clarified a little better. The pic above is what I get after INSTALLING the battery meter, not uninstalling. I got it back to normal now, I just changed the entries in the registry back. But again, that pic is what I get instead of the % of battery left...

Yea I was telling you how to get it back to normal. If you read that post if talks about how installing, replacing, uninstalling and creation of icons for just about everything on your phone.
i've searched everywhere for some nice digital clocks, but everyone creates clocks with some really wierd fonts, or colors that isnt really my taste. So, i made a "concept art" of how a digital clock id like to use look like. (see attachments)
The clock has to be adjustable via CHT (i mean being able to move it around like the normal manila digital clock), so that i can use it in all screens, (Home , all levels, and lockscreen).
Anyone knows if anything like this exists?
if not, anyone willing to make it?
i used the font known as "Segoe UI" (light). Also, if possible, id like some extra versions of it, like the fonts being black instead of white, and an other one with having that black transparent panel behind the clock, using white for the fonts.
PS1:i know that the clock im thinking about looks horrible with the current looks of my phone, but i cant be arsed to change anything until i find a proper clock
PS2: i also know that theres a cab that removes the white panels behind the manila numbers of the clock. The thing is that, without it, the numbers got a little gap between them, looking ugly imo
I basically achieve this by mixing two cabs I've found here in xda
one is called
[Star] Segoe UI light clock charecters White.cab
and the other one is
Transparent Clock flippers.cab
you can find them here on xda posted by their respective authors.
edit: oh I forgot! you can use
transparent clock background.cab to get the effect you want
awesome! thanks a lot for ur reply!
Yeah use my cabs, but you will still get the lines its inevitable when you remove the clock flippers man
ah shame. i thought that ppl let those gaps there, so that the "flip" of the numbers looked better
excellent work with those cabs btw, they were exactly what i needed
I would love a clock like this also. Shame nobody wants to make it without the lines (from the flippers).
Having the lines kills the elegancy of it.
Hi everyone,
I get a solution to fix the problem with the flip lines but you have to be very carefully 'coz it's a bit risky...don't be panic, it works for me perfectly without problem and it would work for you guys too, just follow the instruction
1. Make a backup of the 7c60907d_manila go to your /windows directory and find that file, copy and paste it in your SD card.
2. Download the attached rar. file to your PC, extract the file and save the folder "NoFlipLIne" in your SD card
3. Using Total Commander or File Resco, go to your SD card and open the folder "NoFlipLine" and copy the manila file and paste it into your /Windows directory and accept overwrite (don't worry, you have a backup in case something go wrong)
4. Now reset Sence or restart your phone (as you prefer) and see if you like the magic
Also this manila file has a fix to get installed up to 20 CHT widgets too.
In case of any problem, just find your backed up original file and reinstall it back.
Remember, that works perfectly in my device, but I will not be responsible if it does not work well on yours or cause any other problems, so use it at your own risk
Enjoy it and please let me know if it works well for you.
Your feedback or just a Thanks button clicked is always appreciated.
Thank you for the reply, and your effort.
Unfortunately this did not work. I did exactly as you said, when I restart the phone, I get the original clock, with flippers, but no text where the time is. Basically the time (text) is blank and I just have the original flippers which flipe with nothing inside them.
I don't have screen capture software so I hope you know what I mean. I fyou want a screen print, please link a screen capture app.
I copied the original (backup file) to Windows and all is ok now.
My phone details are as follows:
ROM: 314 WWE (3.14.831.3
Manila: 2.5.20161330.0
WM6.5
Thanks again for trying. Any other suggestions?
ok, this s a little embaressing, I feel like an idiot.
There was no clock text as everything was white. When I mucked around and applied the 'transparent flippers' boom, the clock is just like the pic. PERFECT.
Thanks heaps. I have 'thanked' your post. Good job.

Best regards.
Wow, brilliant app. Thank you x2. For the app, and the clock.

A little help in case it's needed...
I think I know what you are aiming at...
1./ You'd like to change your wallpaper. It's the easiest thing what you can do on a WM device, just go to Windows Settings > Home > Mark "Use this picture as the background" and Browse your file(s).
Or in the Manila settings go to Personalize and then to Home tab wallpaper, and select a file...
Or if you want to have the same background in All Tabs, install CHT Editor, and then in the Home Tab click "Menu", and select Set Wallpaper.
Here you can find as many pictures as you want...
2./ You want to have a percentage-displayed battery icon, don't you? THIS will do the trick (works only on the 1.66 ROMs!), just download and then install to the Device Memory, do an SR, and experience the difference!
If you have a dissimilar ROM to 1.66, download this "circular" % battery icon! THREAD LINK (XDA)
Hope I could help...

Sorry, the HD2 have "Sense 2.5" interface, instead of Manila, I made a mistake when I wrote it. The Manila 2D / 3D is the former interface on the older HTC phones, but since the Touch Diamond 2 it has changed to Sense 2.x!
So the Sense is the main interface on the HD2, it appears first when you switch your device on, and if you want to change the wallpaper, go to Settings Tab > Personalize > Home tab wallpaper and select a file of yours.
You can find out what ROM version you have at the Settings Tab as well, just go to "About Phone" and choose "Software information", and check "ROM version" out!
I have
Manila version 2.5.20
Rom version 1.72.206
Radio version 2.07

Hi John,
It wasn't my intention to be rude, actually I was trying to be helpful. Although I must admit that I could have used some more/other words. I really think that the best help is to learn to use the search function. I've also asked for help, even frequently, but never after I searched for the answer myself.
Sincerely,
Mac
