im using lenovo p770 (rooted) and runs with jelly bean. my problem was. every time a reset my phone my battery drains from 5-10% . yes i know it is normal but. do u have any ways to atleast decrease the percentage?. i tried start up manager and others but i dont think they work. or do u think my battery is just miscalibrated? thanks
Yeah calibrate the battery and see what happens. There's an app in the play store for it but I think you may need root. If that doesn't work than you need to replace the battery.

If That's Normal. Then Live with it.
anyway ask the same device holder if they are faceing the Problem
thanks for your generous reply.
do u think battery calibration by memo really works? so far that i read it doesnt work
the same unit holders are speechless on other forums. haha
anyways thanks
I don't think that is supposed to be normal lol. I can see you losing 2-3 % but 5-10 is way to much. For me it works in some cases.

That app is pure snake oil. The simple fact is that an app cannot calibrate your battery.

so any suggestions?
As I said in a previous post it is hit or miss.

Try charging it up to 100% and letting it drain all the way down til it dies and charge it up to 100% again. See if cycling it like that will fix it.

I have the samsung galaxy tab p1000 for about 1 yr 2 months, I did power off the system to charge to 100%, when I boot it up again, it show 27%, almost the same percentage when I power off. During the day when I use it, the number will drop but if I reboot it again the percentage might be a lot smaller, the charge cycle take 6-8 hrs.
the battery app I use is Battery HD.
it is gingerbread 2.3.3, rooted.
how do I tell if this is battery problem or I need to reinstall the ROM again?
thanks for any help.

That's a negative, Ghost Rider.
What you're using is your only option.
So any other way to increase battery life and cpu performance?

This is what you need
Default Maintenance Build
After talking with Scott about some Infuse issues there was only one memory related change between 4.2.2 and 4.3.x. I was advised to remove this change and rebuild and test. Myself and a couple others have been running this build for the last few days and it seems to me that there is definitely an improvement.
BeanStalk-4.3.1015-20131104-infuse4g.zip - 177.07 MB
There are no new Beanstalk features in this build, it is basically the same one you are running now with the one memory related change but I would still do a full wipe before flashing.
Thanks to Scott for the advice, don't forget to show your love to scott.hart.bti and donate to his diaper fund.
.....almost forgot, I put CWM v6.0.4.4 in this build

Sry to say this but i have downloaded the package that you mentioned in above message and now using this.but basic problem is 1)it takes around 3 hour to fully charge when data network is off and it drains 15-20% prr hour in ideal condition.
2) keyboard crash happens
3) sometime back button cant work.i have to switch off and on the phone.

You have posted this exact thing in at least 3 threads! Pretty annoying. Especially when you are posting the same thing but in regards to different ROMs!

Well, if you actually used it, it's quite normal that it has a high amount of energy consumption. The Camera Hardware is engery hungry.
If not, and a reboot doesn't fix it, I'm alredy running out of ideas. Maybe some additional informations (e.g. Better Battery Stats) can help to identify the problem
Have you searched? A Google search brings up apps like reality piano, airdroid and a yahoo messenger being culprits. Any of those?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
its the camera daemon. if you started the cam, and exited it, but didnt close/kill it, it temains running under some circumstances. either "kill" the camera or just reboot to fix it.

Had the same problem. Go to setting-battery and see if Android OS drains more then 50%. If it does one of your applications is responsible for that. Fastest way to solve problem is to reflash stock rom, you have tutorial on this forum how to do that.

It happens to me too alot of times.. It happens when apps consume too much of power. Try disabling some of the rarely used apps with greenify
