Mine is P6200 stock room Jelly Bean, Rooted and CWMed. My problem is i cant install few apps because it would appear "out of space" warning even my free internal memory is about more than 3GB. But most of apps and all games is installed without any problem. Some app that i find cant be installed as far as i know is folder mount and XDA power font. I already try to clear cache partition and clear dalvik cache with no result.
Is this about app compatible issue?? Because i check on play store and folder mount is compatible with my device. Is someone out there could explain what is really happen?? Thx in advance.
You have to remove the modification with lucky patcher. Then you could install the app.

In trying to install the YouTube apk on my android tablet. There's a pre loaded YouTube app on it but I think its causing a problem. Every time I try to install it it says ' there was a problem parsing the package'. Can someone help?

Do you have the logcat of what the Package Manager said?
That error is usually caused when the download isn't complete, I.e. the file is not proper...
That said, if you were sideloading the app, and you believe that you have the complete file (.apk), then you can uninstall the original app, and place the new app in system/app, give appropriate permissions and reboot...
You need root acces for the abobe, and the method in general is referred to as the root explorer method...

So I need to give it root access and then try to install the apk again but in the system app section? And to add there is this app on there called "video player" it basically functions like the Google YouTube app but not as good. But sometimes when I go to see the not-yet-installed YouTube apk on my SD card it has the "video player" icon. I don't have any problem with sideloading any other apk on there so could that be the problem?

I can't understand what you're trying to say!
Refer the guide mentioned in my sig vv
And see the step: installing apks through root explorer
(The rest of the stuff isn't related to your device)

For some reason some app doesnt work for me too, so i get problem parsing package . I used to have parsing package problem with flash player on my atrix4g then after some time i installed it and it worked good im not sure if its coz they fixed anything thro updates or it just coz i made some changes into my device i still can't download google books on it but my friend who has the same device and android version can. what im trying to say is you could try older versions of the app or if you really need it you can install custom rom , btw i can't install youtube either on my atrix i still work with an old version that came with the stock .

Generic youtube app provided by manufacturer causing OFFICIAL one to never install. *simplified*
How old is the atrix? Sounds strange if you cant even install google books. Maybe that could be a problem with the phone, not just older software.

Surely not?!
However, If that is the only answer, an explanation would be nice as a factory reset seems a little extreme don't u think?

You probably have to go into either;
- /system/app/; or
- /data/app/directory and delete the odex file that has the same name.
Example: If you cannot install Titanium Back Up. Navigate to /data/app/ and find titanium.odex. Remove it and now you can install titanium.
Hope it help :fingers-crossed:

Do factory Reset and through CWM Recovery Restore your setting and Apps from NAND Backup (if only you created one)..
ok guys - just sorted it.
i installed app2sd at some point and i think i was trying to get it to install by default to my sd card. problem is that the old tab 7.7 doesnt support installing to sd. So what was happening it was just giving me a no error message. i used Super manager 3 to default back to the device memory, rebooted and all ok now.
sorry for my stupidity. but shame on the amount of users telling me to do a factory reset - thank god i didnt listen to y'all!!

I faced the same problem with my Xperia ZR after playing with Link2SD.
Fixed it with starting the terminal and typing:
Code:
su
pm set-install-location 1
pm get-install-location
Resut is 1[internal], and the apps are now installing.

Hi
I am a newbie, and recetly rooted my O3D..
As rooted, I tried to delete some apks to free the ram.
But, after done deleting unimportant apks (as I thought), I can get into the settings.
It says, "Sorry! The application settings (process com.android.setings)has stopped unexpectedly..."
Shooooot! So I looked up the list I can delete safety.. and, found out I deleted some apks I had to keep..
The apks I deleted but they (other people) say I had to keep are..
HiddenMenu.apk
HRZ.apk
ImageEditor.apk
PCSync.apk
S3DSpace.apk
Anyone, please help me for this matter?
Please upload those apks for me, please???
Thanks!
Which rom are you on ?

Hello!
I think with root You will able to clean the bloatware from You device! Type in google search: ,.ME173X root" There must be tutorials how to root Your device! Or sometimes it's recommended to clean the memory if You have a task manager on You device! If there isn't. In settings You can find the running processes and You will be able to ,,kill" the processes what uses a lot of RAM.
I hope I could help You!

A tip: I always used Titanium Backup pro/free to remove the factory bloatware and that was always successful! But be careful do not remove the system apps because Your device easily can be unstable! For example: It won't boot as You said.
And the most important thing! Always create a backup before remove apps, if You don't You won't be able to restore the removed app.

Willingly! If You root Your device there is a small chance to brick it, but if You know how to restore the original stock ROM there's no need to panic! That was a big mistake to delete the home laucnher. I don't blame You. Your Brother did it. As You said ,,Unfortunately the Launcher has stopped" error message appeared because You device wanted to start the launcher again ,but the launcher has been removed from Your device. If You doing the removing carefully Youre device must working perfectly!

Did u maybe patched whatsapp+ with lucky patcher? If yes and you just uninstalled whatsapp+, then a special file remained which is causing this problem (i think it is called odex file)
Problem can be fixed by deleting this file through lucky patcher i think.
