Free Skinnable Calculator!
Calculator is an application which must be in all devices, because no one knows when and where you need to calculate something. This calculator is very easy to use, it does not have any scary and complicated functions, only those that are in the usual everyday pocket calculator. In addition, you can always change the color of this calculator, if you're tired of everyday gray colors... You can for example choose the pink
The main advantages of this calculator is:
- Simplicity and ease of use.
- Stylish design.
- Ability to change skins (colors), you just need to click the menu and go to the settings.
Hope to receive feedback
Yea...
It's not very pretty. And also you market it as stylish, while it's filled with ads? ...Really?
There are enough calculators as it is, and almost all of them are prettier and more functional.
Sorry :c

Stylish with ads.. why not? if you use it offline, it will be without ads ..
And about almost of them are prettier, i don't think so..
I don't really like it.
The idea itself is nice but badly implemented. The themes are anything but stylish, the color combinations are not the best. The font you're using is ugly for a calculator.
I respect the will to monetize an app, but there are some free calculators that don't display ads. Even worst, there are nicer free calculators that don't display ads.
When I read stylish calculator I think about Holo Calc (free, no ads, clear or dark holo themes) or Calcbot (shame there is not an Android version)

Hey Nightwolf, don't worry about the criticism. Its everywhere and it happens. I can say that the app works well and does what it needs to.
But as the guy stated that there is already many calculators out there. Many with great styles, and if I have to be honest (don't get upset) the interface of yours isn't as great. The ads should be removed as well.
The app itself is fine, just re-think the layout and buttons. Match it with the current state of android layouts. So its more consistent and not just random.
Here's some tips -
Re-think the layout.
Now create the new layout replacing all the old buttons and stuff. If you need help with the designs, private message me.
Make your calculator unique.
I hope to see you around here with more apps to come. Good work and good luck!
I'll reserve my Thanks for now and wait till a better version is out.

And i'm not fully understand your point about layouts Is something wrong with it? Or you mean only placement of buttons?
Use flat elements(buttons, windows. And the ui) and icons. Avoid using things with gradients. They just look bad.

Well, Sunday afternoon, wife and kids away so I went on with some icons in the sony erirsson font. When you rooted your phone and use this font as your default it looks great on your phone...nevertheless worth sharing. Here some screens in use:
Here are the white PNG icons in Sony Font containing the following:
Applications: GPS, Music, Pictures, Tools, Video, Weather
Homescreen: Dial, SMS, Mail, Shop, Twitter, Web
Games: Action, Arcade, Cards, Puzzle, Race, Sport
Using Smart Shortcuts you can use these icons as your folder icon and make shortcuts on your screens, when you tap them a folder opens with the chosen applications you chose making the folder in Smart Shortcuts.
If you are using Desktop Visualizer these icons are 100x100 png, they are a bit smaller in words of course as I went of the edge a bit.
They look a bit blurry on the screenshots, but that's because I cropped the screenshot png which already is a small file ofcourse. On your telephone it looks sharp as a razorblade ;-)
EDIT: The best thing is of course when your wallpaper is not scrollable (setting in ADW). For that I made 9 wallpapers which looks good with those icons. 3 like in the screenshot and another 6. Also added as attechment. They are 490x854 photo's pasted in a 960x854 background. Just swipe them to maximum and there you go Watch out, there are 2 nsfw pictures in it as well. Herewith an overview of all wallpapers, obviously as i explained you won't see the white parts, it is necessary to get a perfect single wallpaper (unscrollable) for all your screens. For the first two when you want to add the text icons exactly in the squares, make sure you have selected in adw settings, 5 coulomns and 6 rows, than it will fit when using smart shortcuts, this app is free from the market.
Cheers,
Arnold
added 9 single screen wallpapers for non scrollable use. That way you can make different pages using those icons.
Thanks for sharing and putting time to make these.
Although i am totally noob & didn't get it how to do all that (due to my poor english), but really awesome effort from your side Great & Thank You very much ^^
Excellent, and many thanks for this. I don't, however, know how does one change the icons for the apps, what's the app/technique to do that?

Just download the program 'Desktop Visualiser' it is not available in the market for the X10, but you can find the .APK on this site. That program is very simple to use, no explaination needed.
Also, extremely nice backgrounds, I already have extremely similar icons (Tallmin: http://www.droid-den.com/android-guides/android-tallmin-icon-set), so most likely won't be using them, but almost certainatly will make use of the backgrounds!

On a completely unrelated note, my X10i gave me the 'charging bug' for the very first time just now
Damn!
Thank you, nice to hear people like them. Spent 4 hours on it to find wall papers which will fit the icons as a glove. Personally I use them with SMART SHORTCUTS, as desktop visualizer and my phone are not friends, so smart shortcuts folders....that is what you see in the screens.
It is very easy to install. Read the first post and it will work. If you have questions or need help, just post a reply and people will help you...that is the great thing from this community.
Shukla, you are crazy haha

PollPixx, as always great work follow many of your threads
I've sorta been using your icons (sorta because i like images ) and trying a new dual screen type approach with sophisticated sleek words and minimal view on one home screen with the big colourful images on another home screen. Havent gotten it to look 100% yet as its very hard to get it all to fit nicely with a wallpaper, but when I do i'll post on the desktop thread!
p.s. awesome walls wish i could keep one in particular as my wally but the girlfriend will castrate me

Well, as I am also a photographer and have my studio by the house my wife is used to some girls nudity, actually she is more than once my model, artistic naked photos are great,
I dont like the pornographic pictures, but artistic naked like the third screenshot, which happens to be set as my default screen, is really something I like....
I also can't understand why people are having problems by such an innocent picture like the black/white behind picture I posted above, the great thing by these pictures is that you are not seeing anything pornographic at all...
I have had several discussions already about this subject, I always say, if you like it, use it, if you dont like it grab another background...
So, convince your girl you are just an art lover....

Second: just 2 questions
1- how can you select different wallpapers in ADW? I can`t find that option;
2 - How did you disable the botton center icon from ADW?
Thks
EDIT: By the way: I´ve made some icons based on these with droid text.

Thx!
1. You can't....i made different screen shots to show the difference.
2. Just long tap and swipe it upwards, worked for me.

It's fine actually. I was just a little unfamiliar with the menus because of being so used to Solar Explorer and its on screen menus. Now that I have played with it a bit more... the way your app is laid out... it allows for more screen real estate for phones. The images look better that way. As far as content, your app is way more thorough than most.

Ah ok.
But the UI is one thing I will change in the future for sure because using Androids standard menus is easier to implement but also brings some disadvantages.
Have you seen the "Quick controls" which you can enable for the standard browser ("Labs" section) and which can be displayed when sliding the thumb from the left or right edge? That's the way I'm going to implement my "next generation" UI .
Great app, I have many astro apps but yours is really fantastic!

Hey now,
I was fed up with the privacy violations, bloat, instability, and general stupid functionality of Android browsers. I decided to make my own. Introducing...
Naked Browser
TRUST: Right permissions with no spying.
SPEED: No bloat, including minimal GUI candy.
FEATURES: Crash restore, undo close tab, one finger zoom, infinite tabs, and more.
FREE: As in no cost. Not even any ads.
Here's the web site: http://nakedbrowser.com/android/
I've been working on this for the past few months. I've been quite meticulous when trying to focus on speed and avoiding bloat. As a result, it isn't the prettiest app in the world. However, please know that most of my effort went under the hood. Stability and a rich feature set mean more to me than eye candy.
Interesting concept. Must say, its REAL FAST
Inspite of all this, I would just advise some UI enhancements, thats it. Else it is a nearly perfect browser.
Oh, forgot to mention but the icon looks kind of old, how about adding a new trendy one?

Thanks guys. I'm really happy to read that it's real fast and it would be the perfect browser.
I focused as close to 0% on the UI as possible. Honestly, that was a goal. My top priorities were speed, stability, and functionality/features. In fact, unless I forget something, other than the blue color I added the entire UI is based on function alone. I even resisted adding the button icons but it actually took time to read the labels to figure out what to do so I added them.
I even wanted to go with the generic default "andy the android" application icon but instead opted to draw my own globe from memory in about 3 minutes in GIMP. So, it's not an old icon! It's new!!! ;-P And obviously I'm no illustrator.
The UI shows my dedication to making it function properly rather than look beautiful. It's like Apache or something. The interface isn't beautiful--just a config file in Apache's case--but it works like a champ. Sometimes when you focus first on the way it looks (Microsoft?), you end up with a pile of doo doo. I prefer it to look crappy but run great. Later it can look and run great.
Anyway, thanks for checking it out. I'm still improving it so keep it installed if you like. You might find yourself using it, you might end up thinking it's beautiful, but either way it will improve.

Thanks for the app, it loads fast and i actually like the UI, it's kinda cute  . Any plan for urlfilter like in opera mobile, so I can block ad locally?
Really fast browser! The UI is sooooo sick!!!
But I found that the bookmarks and history on the start page are not support unicode languages, such as Chinese...
And is there a history page? Seems not. I can only access to history on the start page...

Yeah, right? It’s cute! Sure. Anyway, I would love adblock but it isn’t easy. I do not access transferred data so I can’t tell what’s an ad. I can imagine a few ways to access the data and filter it, so I’m keeping it in mind. Pro version.

I made some small tweaks so the next version might look a teensy bit better. If there’s anything really odd like labels that aren’t on buttons then let me know. Otherwise, I’m focusing on my goals for the app and “make shiny” is not at the top of the list right now.
Many people say that it looks horrible, and I agree. However, they need to know that I’m focusing all of my time on features, speed, and stability. Adding some graphics or making a more complicated UI are just going to take me away from working on stuff under the hood AND slow the browser down/eat up RAM. I have a little background with cars. First let’s get it running, then we can paint the thing. That being said, any feedback is encouraged so just keep it coming!

About the home screen shortcut suggestion, actually I mean to create bookmark shortcut on launcher's home screen, not the browser's start page. For example, a Facebook shortcut on home screen...

Had a quick play and is pretty basic at the moment. But a very promising start. Screenshots not really necessary as all it adds to your screen are four squares in the 4 corners of your screen which can be assigned gestures of your choice. I tried it on Xenon rom and it worked great. Looking forward to it developing further. @dev might be worth putting up a short video showing of is main features.

I like the name, it's unique. I actually think it would be pretty stupid to complain about the name.
Anywho, gave it a try and like it so far. Only thing I would love to see is maybe give the option to make the gesture squares transparent. Other than that, awesome lightweight launcher. Love the whole no grid arrangement. Some wallpapers/widget combos just don't look right with having to stick to the grid.
Looking nice, would really help for a short intro at first start up very innovative and very unique nicely done, also another note would be to add a app drawer we can access via gesture so we don't have to assign every app to a gesture. Thank you for sharing and for your time in creating this great job so far, will keep my eye on this one for further development

Good!
Very interesting launcher and a little different and light but by me I can't add app on desk... i can only add widget
The concept of gestures is also cool even its not so new but in light launcher its a plus...
Hope there will be a new version soon
Thanks

Glad you like it!
You can put shortcuts on your homescreen, but they're not separate items; they have to be stored inside a Container widget. The launcher comes with one such widget ("Shortcut Dock") so you have one available. Once you put a Shortcut Dock on your home screen, you can swipe up to view the app tray, then long press an app icon and "Add to home screen".
I have been busy working on new & improved features for the launcher. Obviously one of the things I need to do is have an inital setup that automatically adds a Shortcut Dock and some default shortcut icons.
Waiting for more updates. Good job for now

All widgets can be resized in edit mode using the standard two-finger pinching gesture.
No, the current version does not have a Folder widget. A Folder widget will probably be bundled in the version after next. I don't know whether anyone who has replied to this thread is a developer, but you can also develop your own container widgets.
Cool thanks for the resize of the container widgets ...
Another thing if we could get transparence in drawer ...
Hey mate, I really like the launcher. I tend to go for a very minimalist look and this could work well for that.
My only suggestion ATM is to use a different color picker.

Since 2016, I have been developing a habit tracker because I saw there were many theoretical books but there were not so many tools to help us get started.
What is Habitify?
Habitify is a multi-platform habit tracker aimed at helping people form, track and measure new habits.
Why is Habitify "for Devs"?
After many interviews with my users, I came to realize Habitify is used mostly by devs, engineers or designers. The pain point of devs is sitting all day at the screen and forgetting to do important habits such as working out, drinking water or meditating. So I focus on tweaking Habitify to match devs' preference:
- Habitify is available on both mobiles, laptops, and watches, so technically it can remind devs wherever they are, whenever they want.
- I have integrated X-callback for automation purpose.
- I also simplify the design and make it tap-and-go. Devs are busy, so am I
Download
You can check the app on habitify.me or download Habitify on the Google Play Store. As I'm a newbie I cannot put the direct link here... so sorry about that.
Since I'm new to Android (been an iOS dev as a starter), I'm not sure if the app's design and function have this "Material Design" feeling, so can you guys share your thoughts and feedback? I just discovered Xda and I believe this is a good learning curve for me.
I'm happy to provide the Premium version if anyone is interested.
Hey mate!
I really like the app you've created. Im not a dev or a designer, but i use it for my personal stuff.
I really really love using the app, It has all the stuff neatly laid out and it does correspond to material design but still has a bit of the iOS flair.
I think you have just ported this app from iOS becuase the i've seen mentions of iTunes in the app.
If you fix these bugs, i think this will be a great app.
A small suggestion too - Create an AMOLED theme and maybe charge for that? Dark theme is really essential these days and i dont think it must be pay to use.
Hey mate!
Hey mate,
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, I port the app from iOS and since the app does exist on other platforms, I decided to leave iTunes there.
What do you mean by the Amoled theme? Is it different from the dark theme the app already has? If it's that important then we should charge for it, right?

Dark theme is where apps choose a darker color palette like yours does. The dark Blue shade.
Amoled theme is having a pure black color scheme. Everything menu, submenu in black.
I said it because, many apps in android have a basic dark theme and pay to use AMOLED theme.
Ah I see. But why should we focus on Amoled theme instead of Dark Blue? What if the Dark Blue looks better on some specific apps?

It does yes.
But AMOLED themes help have that consistency that people love to have on their phone.
I love your new app and I would like to have a promo code if it is possible to discover all the possibilities of the application
