If it doesnt work then just install another voice recorder from the playstore. Unfortunately not a lot of users are on 2.2.2 (its Old) so im not aware of anyone that has that specific voice recorder for your phone. You could always back up your phone and restore it by doing a factory reset and you'll have all of your stock apps back including your voice recorder you deleted.
Thank you so much!
How can I install ZIP file?
Sorry for stupid question...
Thank you so much again.
MASSIMO
Done!
I change extension from .zip to .apk, but doesnt't work.
I will try some app from Google Play.
Do you know some app without ads?
MASSIMO
I have solved in this way.
With unaffys I have extracted voicerecorder file (.apk and .odex) from data.img. This file is a part of backup that I have createt with clockwordmod recovery.
Then I have copied them in the /data/data.
Now work perfectly again!
Thank you so much!
Bye!

I do not know why you receive that message.
You can try installing the ".NET Compact Framework 3.5" to see if it works

Hey guys,
I've modified Brut.all's Maps to better suit my taste and with Brut.all's permission I'd like to share the *.apk with you.
What's changed:
All icons with "BRUT" watermark reverted to stock
The [brut] suffix removed from the application name
Package name reverted back to com.google.android.apps.maps, so everything works correctly, including Car Panel and Chrometophone.
Bonus:
Zipaligned
Map caching enabled by default

DOWNLOAD & INSTALLATION:
1) Always do a nandroid backup.
2) Download the zip file below, put it to your SD card root and flash via recovery or ROM Manager.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Some users are reporting that they don't see Maps, Navigation, etc. in the app drawer after they install the update.zip.
If you are experiencing this issue, read post #80, it contains an explanation and a fix as well. It may be a bit drastic, but it's the price you have to pay if you want to use this mod.

Special thanks to Brut.all for his work and friendly approach & to ivarson_swe for the help with package name reversion, and for the tip with enabling the map caching feature by default.

works Great!
Works great! thanks for the Mod squrl! the only thing not working is voice search though
Tanks!
..
Great work, but i wonder is that possible to change package name to "com.google.android.apps.maps" instead of "brut.googlemaps" ???
reason to change: brut.googlemaps doesn't work in chrometophone

chrometophone asks what application you want to use when you send it something from google maps to your phone.
So no problem here.
Maybe you selected to allways use the normal google maps?

Strange, i use brut version, because can't install the normal, flashed a rom without google maps over a rom witch had google maps and now can't install the normal version.
But when i send some route with chrome2phone it asks if i want to open it with my browser or googlemaps brut. and it works normaly.
i first flashed this one and then i had to install maps.brut...i wouldnt work if i didnt..and then navipanel separately..and now it works flawlessly
thanx m8

may i know which version of chrometophone and brut you using?
I'm trying to apply the zip via open recovery but it fails "E:Could not find the update-binary." anyone knows how to avoid this? Thanks!
Which recovery are you using? The stock? I recommend clockworkmod recovery by Koush, you can either flash it permanently to your Desire using unrEVOked, or use it with the fake-flash method.
Brut has a new version 4.4, brut15 out. Can you, by any chance, modify it for the Car Panel again?

Hi I'm from the Philippines and never did get Brut's maps to work over here!
Is it supposed to work?
Also tried installing this package but it doesnt show up in my app list, how am I supposed to install this? Thanks
I am getting all sorts of reports about the English Dictionary FCing with newer stock firmwares that even Rotohammer have stripped it from his JMI stock firmware and in JMK firmware it either FCs or doesn't even work (shows no results on ebook reader). So here is a working version taken from the JMG firmware (tested).
http://www.mediafire.com/file/u0hy767lo8b3c1j/DioDict_EngEng.zip
Hope it helps
Regards
DarkPal
Wow Darkpal, this is awesome! I've been looking and hoping to find this app for like forever. I thank you so so much.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
Thanks mate!
So ive not had probs with FC using Overcome 1.4.0 with kernel 2.1.1, but good to have and useful for those that are cooking ROMS
Ok for those who are skeptic. This Dictionary is WORKING. You just need to remove the fcing crappy dictionary on your ROM before installing this do not install over it or it will FC as well (I thought it was obvious but apparently I was wrong).
Here are the steps (tried on JMK ROM):
1. Wipe the english dictionary data (press menu-setting-applications-manage applications-all- english dictionary-clear data).
2. UNINSTALL buggy dictionary (use Titanium backup if you're a noob, root explorer if you know what you're doing, or adb if you really know what you're doing).
3. Install the english dictionary apk and you should be up and running
Might upload the ebook app as well as some people have lost it as well.

hello to all. I turned around in the forums and I have not found this (which works).
then, after many trials. I assembled this it works fine.
I use a rom XXLTA. But it also works on the older versions...
nandroid backup is recommended
1." voicetalk.apk" manually remove from the device. with root explorer or similar.
2. Place "SVoice Note2 MultiDPI (320.240.213DPI ) full.zip" file into device.
after
reboot the phone into the recovery mode and flash the "SVoice Note2 MultiDPI (320.240.213DPI ) full".zip file.
3. Place the "com.vlingo.midas-1.apk" into the device and install it (this will be an upgrade).
thank to "sfattucci"( forum androidiani ) for the zip file. the apk file sorry but I do not remember where I found it
I hope that was helpful. sorry for my English. helps me google
do not ask me screenshots. we all know what I'm talking about

did you try the one here ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208158
yes bat did not work on my rom XXLTA
The first one on my Rom without Network error message!
XXLT4 240 Dpi...
It's white...
But you can remove the S-Voice_Android_phone_NLI.apk and then copy com.vlingo.midas-1.apk in the .zip file.
S-Voice_Android_phone_NLI.apk = S Voice Note 2
com.vlingo.midas-1.apk = S Voice S4
One is enough...
I am glad to be helpful. I thought I was the only one with the problem of network error.:laugh:

Thanks, but I found this one: OI File Manager (free) in the Play Store. It is a recent release and may have replaced the original...it is simple and very easy to use - and not one that need a manual read to understand.
Thank you for the response however - and I hope this post will help some other N00B in Android to find a good simply file manager.
