Friends my sister phone vibrate all the time.vibrate in the silent mode.even vibrate in recovery.phone is not vibrate only if phone is completely switch off.i try changing rom but same thing help.currently using thinkbridge rom android 4.2.plz any body help me.

I had this experience when I had "drenched" my phone in water. The phone starts vibrating as soon as you insert the battery. I would recommend that you take the phone to the service center, and ask them to "clean" the phone, *somehow* . If else, you could try this tutorial here by @#define: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2171807. Just follow the steps and dry the phone .

Hi Guys. I've just treated myself to this super great phone. However, Im looking for this function, but to no avail. Basically, its to switch phone to silent/vibration mode automatically once i turn the phone (screen down) over. When I turn the phone back up (screen up), the phone will automatically turn to normal mode again.
Anybody any idea where to find this cab or app? Cant seem to find it around..

hmm... mine does this out of the box... well, it doesn't start ringing when I turn it again, but it goes to silent when I turn it up-side-down...

I think he's asking for it to switch to a silent mode when it's face down. What you're talking about is stopping it ringing when you turn it face down, but that only happens when it's already ringing. I don't think it stops it ringing when the next call comes in though.

yes yes yes.. flip it down ward, silent mode, once it up, normal mode.. i had that in omnia and found it extremely useful...
You can try an app called Xsense by shireer.

It doesn't work as good as I would hope it would, but it would fulfil your functions well enough.

I have Alcatel OT-981A android phone. Recently I installed Easy Battery Saver and I let the app to turn off the touch screen when the battery gets very low. When I charged the cell for half an hour the screen used to come back, but all of a sudden the screen never turned back even though I plugged it the whole day. I can see nothing, but I can feel the vibration when I roll my finger over the screen, and I can also answer incoming call using the key pad but I can't see who the caller is. Please, tell me what I should do to remove the app or reset to factory setting.

I don't know what I did, but my phone suddenly lost all vibration function when I last checked my phone. Nothing vibrates, not even the lock screen, keyboard, vibration settings, phone vibration, you name it. It only vibrates when I turn it on. Not even restoring any roms help. What do I do? Please answer!

that happened to me one... lost vibration on my phone
all i could feel when the phone is meant to vibrate is one or two blips of vibration
i fixed it by re flashing the ROM

ive had the rom since the day it came out but today first problem wiht it.
My phone was charging and i was playn' Injustice while i got a Viber text and screen just froze. I waited for like 5 mins and then turned it off with just power button. Now it wont boot up. Lights flash and i get soft vibrations but nothing else.
Please help me

Computer and all-in-one kit wont recognize the phone as phone.
This has happened 2 times lately, at least once for sure while on the charger over night.
I wake up,and have notifications from over night so the light is flashing. I try to open the phone,and nothing happens . The phone is very hot also. So I long press the power button and up volume at the same time,and phone vibrates 3 times , then shuts off. I can then turn the phone back on ,and after a few min it cools down, and operates normally.
I purchased this device from a sony store in Thailand where I live ,and is is unlocked. Please Please help me figure this out. Thanks in advance. Everything is up to date also. The phone has onboard diagnostics, if turned on it can send information to sony to help find problems. Should I use that system to help?

Check what apps you have given permission to provide notifications. Sounds like one is possibly looping.

Doesn't look like anything there would cause an issue. I don't have any issues and I don't use stamina mode. Possibly try it a couple nights without stamina mode?
