YouTube repeating same vids - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

New YouTube app is really nice but I've run I to the old bug of playing the same video no matter what I choose. I've tried the fixes, rebooted, wiped caches, un installed and reinstalled and no luck.... Anyone know of a fix?

Sorry this video cannot be played problems

Hello xda community!
I have been having a persistant problem with youtube lately with playing videos.
Everytime i go to play one, it gives me this annoying message "Sorry this video cannot be played."
I have tried clearing and resetting my browser, but the problem still persists. The same problem with the youtube app.
If anyone would be kind enough to help me resolve this problem, i would greatly appreciate it!

Custom rom? Fire wall activated? Latest flash players not installed? I have had those issues before that prevented me from using youtube

why dont you just use your youtube app?
I'm experiencing the same problem with the Youtube app.
In addition to that, I can't play any video from my SD card, getting exactly the same error message: "Sorry, this video cannot be played."
I've tried removing the cache used by the Youtube app, which helped in the past to solve some problems, but can't find a solution.
I'm using CM7 for Motorola Milestone.

YouTube problems

I've been having problems playing YouTube videos on my tablet.
Sometimes it will play with out a catch but then I run into the continuous force closes while trying to load the video up.
Is there a fix or anything I can do?
My tablet is not rooted.

Force close when trying to play any video here, I'm assuming it's a problem on Google's end.
I have been facing this same problem since today.. I was using the youtube app extensively yesterday without any issues. Hopefully they resolve it soon.

I have same issue. Will not play videos that worked fine yesterday. Apparently not a TF issue but a google /you tube issue.
I have the problem with youtube on my asus tf101.
I have the same problem with youtube. I live in the far east of Russia. Yesterday, when trying to play videos on youtube from the asus tf101, I got an error message playback. And today I am forced to dropped the tablet in the factory settings, but nothing has changed and now the application is forced to close when you try to view the video from youtube. Already thinking ins custom rom.
Same problem here. Maybe theyre preparing for ICS? *fingers crossed*
I have the same problem. I didn't know what it was because it started exactly following my changing my YouTube setting to always start HD videos. I thought I broke something on my transformer (I just rooted it last night). It's good to know others are having the same problem.
Mine is down too. It is also not showing in the market either. Anyone checked to see if it is still on their phone?

Same problem here as well.
Glad I am not the only one...
in fact, youtube app isn't even listed in the market.
Same here. No problems on my ics NS4G, but on my stock TF101, youtube is borked.

was working fine till yesterday,
working fine on my Htc Desire HD,
workaround i find for now is to launch it from your browser (www.youtube.com) or there is a great app for downloading and watching you tube video (tubemate)

Can't Reinstall
Well, crap. I uninstalled my YouTube App via Titanium Backup, and now I can't reinstall it. I've tried both the .apk, and via Titanium (with each option in Titanium).
I'm rooted and a pro-user with Titanium. Any ideas on how I can get it back on? Can I flash YouTube with CWM?

youtube stucks at loading video, reflashing doesn't fix

hey. i have a samsung spica, not rooted and 2.1. youtube doesn't load videos even with wi-fi. only says loading video... and wait there forever. i've reflashed rom, installed other versions of youtube for eclair, but nothing fixed my problem. is there anyone who can help me? i'm about to go crazy -.-
It seems like youtube app is the problem. I suppose you can watch youtube videos with the browser. I also used youtube app but was disappointed, right now I'm using TubeMate and it works just fine. You could try it and see if it works for you.
I had similar problem where videos wouldn't play yet the app let me search.
I used titanium backup to uninstall the app. Rebooted then reinstalled it and it worked again.

Video problems

Hey there, i have a problem with youtube on my phone, everytime i load a video, my screen starts flickering, only the video, NOT the hud, i un-installed it, cleared data and tried every thing, but nothing works, could it be my rom or kernel??
Thanks for your time

Hi, maybe some problems with flash player.
Try uninstalling the flash player or update it via the play store.
There is a small possibility that your gpu is ****d up, you can test this by playing a game or try to play a self made video that u captured with your phone. If all works well, the flash player itself is to blame.
Good luck!
??????Question
:cyclops:When did it work last without doing that? Have you changed the device in anyway since then?
reflash the rom
I fixed it, just updated my rom , flash player didnt work D:
Thanks anyways <3

YouTube skipping on liquid ics 1.5 jmod

Trying to watch movies on YouTube, and for every movie, right around the 1:10 (an hour and 10 min) mark, the playback starts skipping. I tried the same movies on the GB thundershed rom and it played all the way to the end, with no problems. Tried flashing different radios, which had no effect. Same result when I tried using TubeMate.
Tried wiping cache + dalvik, and fix permissions. No change. Anyone else experience this?

What were you using to play the videos originally? I'll try to repeat what you did and see if I have the same result.
On thundershed I used the YouTube app. Without issues.
The YouTube app and the TubeMate app in ICS gives me the problem.
