Hello is there any advice that ı can do for this problem ?
I erased some files which ı thought they were some old files of some deleted applications at main source. However suddenly there were no problem. After a while when i take it standby it didn't open and didnt give any response for any operation.I am not sure it happens because i erase the files which ı dont know. But ı cant see any reason to be broken down. What should i do?I use it in Turkey and they dont repair it because it is from England. Can it be repaired in another europe country with respect to quarentee such as germany 'cause i think giving it my friend to make it repaired.

Can you get into Recovery Mode , if so then you can install any stock rom through odin.
If you can get in download mode, just find the Odin for your specific device and reflash.
i did everything that can be done however it didn't respond me also download mode

If you can't get in download mode, its toast. Is it under warranty with Samsung? that's the only option if you can't get repairs done locally.

Sorry, but how did you manage to overwrite the partitions responsible for recovery and download mode by 'deleting files'?
Is it that your device just does not respond to anything?
If so, it seems that the system hanged hardly but is still running. If it were a phone, I'd tell you to pull the battery out. All you can do with that thing is wait for it to discharge and power off. After it does you can try to put it in download mode. (But charge it a little before this!)

If you only removed empty folders, it is something else that caused this. Especially if your tablet isn't rooted (is it?). Anyway, try to contact Samsung online. Your local dealer can at least try to find the actual cause.

Well, then it is pointless to ask samsung official dealers to repair it. You can try to reflash everything, though.
BTW, has your device eaten up its battery already? I mean, does it react to anything (both plugged into the charger and not)?

You should've let it discharge. You could try to disassemble it, disconnect the battery and reconnect it, if you're OK with the possibility of breaking more things and probably voiding your warranty.

PLEASE HELP ME!
I WAS TRYING MODIFY JPA ROM, I DELETED SOME APPS (MAPS, WIDGETS...) AND I TRIED TO INSTALL IT. I ENTERED IN DOWNLOAD MODE AND INSTALLED IT BUT ODIN SAYS ME: Big partition size!! AND IT NOT CHARGE, AND I DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FOR INSTALL THE NORMAL ROM, BUT MY PHONE NOW DON´T TURN ON! I CAN´T ENTER IN DOWNLOAD MODE, IN RECOVERY....
PLEASE HELP ME! T.T
Looks bad, didn't you remove boot.bin and sbl.bin when flashing? Did you try to remove battery, wait one minute, replace battery and turn on using the three button combo? If this does not help you bricked your phone and have to take it to a service center. But don't tell em what you did, just claim it went off and does not turn back on... they will reflash it using their jig box and the phone will work again.
ok, a lot of thanks! I going to try remove the battery and turn on the phone...
No, I don´t remove the boot.bin and nothing, only removed some apps from factoryfs.rfs and changed the android.policy.odex from framework...=(
To bad, you should always remove the bootloader files to avoid the risk of bricking. Looks like the flash stoped during bootloader replacement...
And I can do now? T.T
Your phone is bricked... =/
It happen to me too! I was modifying an JPX ROM file, by removing files from tar and add files from other roms...
Don't try to do this, never! I send my phone back to Samsung, to use the 1 year warranty, i told him my phone was charging and never turns on later it...
Now, after 28 days (Brazil), i have my phone back with a new motherboard.
Samsung says: "Phone don't power on, waiting OS bootloader and imei, nand memory lost..."
I tried all techinics to solve: warm phone with hair dryer, "unbricker" with 301K resistor, keys combination and many other, but take no effects, cause my "custom rom" was modified, and we can't do this just removing a file and add others, make a new tar file doesn't works too.
Use the Samsung warranty! If you have...
Belive me, it has not much to do with modifying the rom, it can happen also if you flash a bootloader with unmodified rom, we had some cases like this on German forum also...
Then? What I can say in Vodafone, when this evening I´m going to the shop?
Explain me slowsly, because I dont understand English very well!

Thats why you should not tell em what happened. If it don't boot they wont see it was rooted
i had tried to install a custom rom and my phone is not starting in either way
it is neither starting in download mode ; the normal on nor in the recovery mode
i have already done this rooting and i am not new to installing custom rom in my device i.e. SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE.
i have also tried to boot it by using usb jig but it failed.
so guys do u have any idea how i can get my phone back or is it bricked for ever.
please share ur views.
Can you link the ROM you flashed?
If you take out the battery then put it back in, then turn it on (or attempt to), does it do anything at all? Vibrate, flash something, anything?
If you plug it in to your computer, does it recognize anything as plugged in, even just a driver?

the 2nd section on unbricking, there's a chance you are missing the drivers necessary to have your computer recognize it and restore it. It's worth a shot.

Oh, I didn't actually watch the video, I assumed "unbrick" had something to do with maybe not being able to access Download Mode.
Something crazy, are you sure your battery is in correctly, and are any of the pins that connect to the battery from the phone bent?

Sounds hard bricked to me, let me see if someone with more knowledge on that phone has better insight.
It does sound like its hard bricked.
If usb jig didn't work for you, then only Samsung can fix it for you.
As for warranty, depending on what reason you give them for the "sudden death" of your phone, you might be able to claim it.
Your phone's hard bricked. Get it repaired in the service center!

They might honor the warranty without having to "have" anything, just ask them. I have no idea how much they'll charge.
Motherboard replacement - anywhere around 2500INR
Approx 50USD.
There's one last thing to try.
JTAG. If you don't know how to do it, ask these guys if they can help you with your phone. http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/
They're very good and trustworthy, and their service is great.
It may not start in Download mode, but I'm quite sure a JTAG is still in point. If it doesn't boot into Download mode, it means bl.bin got messed up, which is something unusual since only Samsung code/flashable through ODIN can change that file.

You will have to send it to them and it will cost money. It's not something you can get a guide to do - they need to hook up hardware to the phone and that hardware is more expensive than paying them to do it, and not a "do it yourself" kind of thing.
You could search for JTAG repair in your country. Shipping might not be too bad in a small pre-paid USPS PMI box if you have access to that - I sent a small box to Russia for $13 USD

Still doesn't tell me what you've done, what state the phone is actually in, etc.
I thought my question was pretty straightforward. Unless you provide more detail, I don't know how anyone will be able to help you.
Is this a stolen device? Why is it not qualified for the official unlock? Either way, how does that play into what's wrong with the device?
Did you have custom recovery on it? Give some details!!!

i think i am a noob at explaining things but let me try again...i don't know the exact history of this phone , my friend gave it to me yesterday and its not stolen ... he paid his insurance every month but then who know what he did... i have no idea why its not qaulified for the official unlock probably because he bought a new phone on the same line so the company deactivated this phone..
ok so when i got the phone yesterday , the bootlocker logo appeared and i was unable to do anything ...then i installed CWMrecovery and it was successfull and then i installed every possible rom available online as far as i know but same thing happened with all of them ..... successfully installed , it reboots and little square thing saying " starting services..." and then it does not go away at all ... but at the same time i am able to bring the top menu ..and go to the settings and everything from there but i can't go to home screen since ...it is black and is occupied by "starting services.."
so finally i came accross this thread for master reboot and i followed it ....i installed TWRrecovery and made backup and then restored a backup providers by that guy ... i flashed new stock recovery after that... so following his thread , he told that if all went successful ... it will return to original stock
and now i am at the same screen as previous... " starting serivces..." my friend told me he tired to root it and he messed up really bad ..so i believe there is still some old files in the internal storage from previous rom versions.... but i deleted everything......wiped, data facotry reset and then
installed a clean backup provided by the thread starter...... and everyone else had success except me ...
i hope i answered your questions if not .. i would aprreciate if you tell me what exactly you want to know ..... thanks
i also tired every US ROMS from here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/asanti_c/list.php
and all of them showed " starting services.." after i installed them from sdcard using CWMrecovery.

Hi shad24, thank you for your answer. I know this thread, but i haven't backuped my "efs" folder and so i brought it to my local shop and they sended it to repair station, because i'm still having warranty.
Hope there is no problem, because i have cwm and many more things on my phone. But i think, they didn't know them, because the phone completely didn't work. If they change the mainboard, do they know, which data is in the "internal sd card" ? Or is it only a flash chip in the phone and not a real sd card?
Best regards
Hey,
See if they repair your phone by changing the chip or flashing the memory ... what ever you have saved on your internal memory i.e. phone memory will be deleted ...I am sorry there is no way to recover it...

But, i meant the internal sd card, not the internal phone memory. I know, that the flash of the phone memory will be deleted, if they flash a new software. But whats with the internal SD Card?. Is this only a flash chip on the mainboard, or is it a real sd card?.
The problem is this:
If they found a cwm or something like that on my phone, i didn't have warranty and so i have to pay for the repair. But if it is unpossible to find something like that, i have warranty and didn't have any problems.

Hello i think i have the same kind of problem somehow (Running Cynagonmod Nightly build 10.1 not sure about which excat version i think 01.05.2013), but I'm not certain. Last night i forgot my Galaxy R in the car with about 19% battery left. In the Morning it was not on anymore. I didn't bother much about it and went to my office and put in my USB cable to the computer to get a little bit of battery. I left it there like 3 hours. Then i tried to turn it on and at first all got was the battery symbol with a loading circle. After that I tried again and i got the boot-screen of Cynagonmod the it turned on, but after awhile it turned of again and ever since the it is stuck in the boot-screen and runs a little bit hot. I tried to remove battery and everything many times but neither did work. Can somebody verify if i have the same problem?:crying: Because after flashing 10.1 the phone got so much better. Thank you guys:good:

Hey guys it somehow reverted i got it running after taking out battery again and then turning it on without connecting it to a wallplug. Then I put the charger again and now it seems to be happily loading.

Hello, So it all started when I looked up online that I can increase my internal storage on my rooted Galaxy Grand Prime by making a second partition on my SD card. So I did some research on it and discovered I needed a SD card adapter so I can put my SD card into my computer and use some software to make the second partition on the SD card. I didn't have a SD card adapter at the moment and did some more digging on how to do this without a SD card adapter. Then I discovered a app called "Aparted" and downloaded it and tried to make the second partition when it failed. They said I had to disable it, and confused on what that meant I went to my settings and just unmounted it and shutdown my phone to see if that worked. I was an idiot. When I tried to turn on my phone again nothing happened, put it on the charger nothing, plugged it into my computer nothing, boot into safe mode, absolutely nothing happened. So I did some research on what the heck I done and came under the conclusion that my phone is hard-bricked and don't have the slightest idea on how to fix this... If anyone can help me it would be GREATLY appreciated. Because I have no idea on how to fix this.. Just in case here is my phone type again:
Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530 and my carrier is Cricket
Seriously? Can someone help me?
why did u do it in the first place lmao.

I don't know what the solution could be basically because I've never encountered that kind of case in my life. It could be hardware and maybe trying changing your motherboard could be the solution.
