Alright so about a month or 2 ago now I had switched back to ICS for my NS4G because Jellybean broke tethering for us. I was using CM10 Nightlies all the way from when bursuara was making the unofficial nightlies to the actual Official CM10 4.2.2 Update came out and tether was not working at all. I would like to switch back to Jellybean but the only thing that is stopping me is Having the ability to tether a 4G connection. It is a must for me. I've been searching everywhere and i cant seem to find anyone saying they actually have 4g tethering working on 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 for the nexus s 4g
Ive been searching on and off for about 2 months now and all i remember seeing is someone saying that 4g Tethering started working in a certain build of CM10 4.1.2
As stated above all Im just looking for is a ROM preferably CM10 that has 4g Tethering working, Either through Native or VIA WIFI Tether.. Can anyone help me here because id love to switch back to Jellybean

Hi guys I need help or info about this Ive always wanted Motorola Xoom wifi only but I received Verizon one with 3g not upgraded to lte . I rooted it and installed ics for the wifi only system from Google or android website its stock ..
And works actually very well no 3g ..nothing about service I don't mind since I'm not with Verizon and not planning to go with them I just need wifi but my question is ...is it right I mean everything works good only the battery It seems like honeycomb stock verizon build battery stays longer is it because of wifi only ice version ..or something I'm not sure if somebody can help me with info
Hmmm ... me too. I have a Xoom tablet arriving this week, and it was listed as "MZ600 Xoom, LTE ready, Verizon". Which rom version should I install? I do not plan to activate it with Verizon, as I already have a dinc running CM7 nightly build 258, and waiting for ics. I would just like to run ics on the Xoom. If I don't activate the Xoom, which rom should I use, or CAN I use??
If both of you are not planning to activate with Verizon, using a Wifi only ICS ROM won't be a bad idea. I too have installed this to a friend of mine and he hasn't experienced any issues. You will not be missing out of any features because the only main difference is the 3g / LTE radio.
So anyone has seen the stock ICS for the xoom 3G version?
AFAIK wifi only is the only model to get an official update. Running the wingray build on cdma or lte is just fine.
So I got the 32gb Verizon 3g/wifi Motorola xoom off daily steals (hasn't arrived yet). If I'm correct it comes with 3.1 but is upgradable to 4.0. I don't intend on using it on Verizons 3g network but I do intend on using it on my wifi. I have a nexus 7 and I'm loving jb so I want to eventually get 4.1 on it. I could always root but I always second guess myself on whether I should or not. Are the jb roms stable enough for daily drivers? Is it possible to get the stock jb update that went to the wifi only version? If not should I root on 3.1 or 4.0?
Edit: so I did a little research and from what I've read the eos jb roms are the best but I failed to find one for a US Verizon 3g/wifi xoom. Would the US wifi only one located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1764751 work and just disable 3g capabilities like some have said

Just wondering if it was possible to get a JB compatible version of the T-Mobile Wfi Calling app now that there is a leak for the SGS III that has a working version? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1883169
Sorry if this has already been asked elsewhere, i'm just anxious to try JB, but I have to have wifi calling. Unfortunately I don't know enough to do the work myself to get it working.
Thanks,

I don't believe wifi calling will work, I looked at the device tree for pyramid on jellybean branch and right now wifi calling is removed
It'll be easier to use the sensation wifi calling from a jellybean sense in the near future
Whenever t-mobile decides to that is
Some apps like google music and youtube cant update unless im on 4G LTE. When im connected to my wifi network it wont update. I have Verizon fios and using their modem with built in wifi and Ive never experienced this before. I was running the latest Jelly bean leak rooted and de-odexed and thought the rom was the issue. Since then im back to stock unrooted on HE ICS and still have these weird issues. Are these known issues with the google play store or is there something wrong with my GS3?
I was running a Jellybam rom on 4.2 about a month ago and I decided I would upgrade to a 4.3 rom. Up until then my data was working normal and I could get 3g just about all around town. So after searching I settled for the ;latest PAC-man rom on 4.3 and loved the features it came with. Theres only one issue though...Now when i turn my data on and wifi off to access 3g or 4g I am extremely lucky if I even get a 1x signal. I am talking once in a blue moon this will happen. I know my data is working thought because when I download or send a MMS, I will instantly get 3g or 4g but as soon as it is finished, all data is lost again. I have tried going back to Jellybam and reinstalled PAC but nothing helps fix it. This is really becoming annoying now because I cannot use gps or pandora in my car anymore. Please help!
