Hey guys (i don't want to be a ***** here) I just bought a new Galaxy Note 8.0 and am really keen on getting my wireless adapter working (in monitor mode). I am a part time pentester so this would be really handy! Could anybody point the way for cross compiling wifi modules with my kernel? This would be great, cheers

hey all!
I just got my samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet and am relatively new to the android scene... ive got Calkulin's_GT-P7510_HMJ37.UEKM7_ROM (touchwiz ux) on my tablet so far...ive been reading about some roms that have xbox 360/ps3 controller support, and i have some questions
first off im big into the emulation thing, so im looking for a controller that has similar button layouts to the ps3/xbox controllers just because they would work best with all the emulators...here come the grey parts...so far im not sure the best way to get a decent working controller for emulation...i know u can usb or bluetooth. does anyone know if that actually works? which is best bluetooth or usb? (with usb i know i would need to buy the samsung usb adapter but does that actually work with a usb controller?) if not what would be the best solution for a ps2 style gamepad (or ps3/xbox360). i dont mean to drone on but i am just trying to find a controller that doesnt suck for emulation purposes...any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks
mods please delete this thread, as i posted this in the Q&A threads for the samsung galaxy tab in which this question is related to...thanks and sorry for the double post/inconvenience

I don't know if there are going to bemany people who are willing to crack open their TPs to test this. I would also doubt that there are going to be any android drivers since that would require that the developers have a TP with this installed. Very unlikely.
Thanks for this fox!! I was always wanting to see about adding a radio card to the TP. I knew the difference between the cell version and regular version of the TP had to be a simple module connected either via ribbon, coaxial, or both. Some simple empty space ready for a radio card to be plugged into it. I guess I was partially right. :3
I really will consider doing this. Although I am loyal to T-Mobile USA and it doesn't seem to support this Going to check out some disassembly videos and see what I'm up against. But it would be nice to have a cell-capable TP.
Bookmark saved, thanks again!
What about this one?
Ericsson F3307
Seems to be the same one used in epad, so I'm guess there are drivers for it; so I'm guessing it can be used on android, but for webos it'd need porting - maybe from the android version or the linux version (don't know what the dependencies are).
Or maybe others too.

I just want to save someone from damaging their TouchPad doing this mod. The modem will not work on a WiFi model since their boards are different. The 4G model has the connection for the AT&T modem whereas the WiFi model doesn't have the connection present. I've learnt this through swapping parts out for servicing my TouchPad 4G on a mule TouchPad WiFi.

Hi guys, i have been past a long time trying compile the kernel of my samsung galaxy s4 to use the kali linux on them. But yesterday i let them fall in the ground, and broke the screen. So i am looking for smartphones to buy, but my requisit is that the smartphone run the bcmon. If anyone knows the smartphones that runs bcmon, tell me please.
I have an old Samsung S2 from virgin that will run it. I think the t mobile and ATT variety also will run it. It will support packet inject and monitor mode. I don't think bcom has had any support for a while, so only a couple of older phones will support it.
Really looking forward to nethunter or ubuntu touch on this phone i sure either would do great also can we please leave wifi calling on the nethunter port just if it ever comes around! So theres my 2 cents!
