[Q] Custom ROM for Fujitsu ArrowX F-02E - General Questions and Answers

just a quick question if anyone tried to install custom ROM on this phone? I rooted it but want to use custom ROM for more battery life due to tons of bloatware on stock ROM (uninstalled/frozen some already but still some com.etc.etc stuff left which i'm not sure if I should remove it or not)

Hi I have uninstalled many Japanese applications and now I have the phone without running, I'm waiting for the seller to give me a solution to try to fix it, yours would be a customized rom but it will get much

GattacaWroclaw, you fix problem with phone?

[Q] Simple Question-Please respond

Well my question is really simple and i believe that there are many experts to answer it.I have bought a desire s with 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 which has VODA-Mobilkom VODAP120 brand and a list of 15-20 pre-installed apps. Can i install a pure unbranded version of 2.3.5 (official) so i am able to get rid of these apps? Please someone respond..Thanks guys
yes, with a GOLD CARD
yes. root it. install a c-rom.. search the threads on how
Well guys...thanks for the answers.I thought that instaling an official unbranded rom would not demand rooting and apparently i was mistaken.I was trying to find an easier way to do what i want trying to avoid all the steps that i must follow to root the HBOOT-2.00.0002 which are pretty demanding..So i guess i got my answer. Thanks a lot guys,i appreciate it
new
well if you only want to remove the apps just reset it to factory default (reformat), all apps that has been installed would be removed, but stock apps that cme with the rom will still be there
But he wants to get rid of those stock apps. So hard to read?
I had a vodafone branded Desire S too and just flashed the Stock HTC firmware over it, no fancy or demanding stuff required.
So I got at least rid of those pre-installed vodafone apps and the system is quite faster. But you will still have the HTC pre-installed apps like facebook, twitter and so on.

[Q] Lenovo A660 rooting installing Custom Mod problems

Hello I purchased a Lenovo A660 From ebay 2 weeks ago, I have tried following all forums to root and install custom roms. I am a complete Novice at this as it is my first Android device/smartphone. I have even paid online to have someone Root it, they installed SuperSu and told me it was rooted, but nothing has changed. When I try to install Custom roms I get stuck. My main problem is that I cannot get rid of the chinese apps and install Gapps. Please if there is someone out there who can help it would be great as the seller will not take back the phone now that it is rooted. Anything can help please!!!
A660 rom
Hello!
Five weeks ago I was in the same situation. After trying several roms, I ended up using this one: http://www.needrom.com/mobile/lenovo-a660-etotalk-mod/ . It's rooted and quite stable (some crashes with Strava, but not sure why), fairly light and most important (almost) free of that Chinese crap (no disrespect). The firmware has a modified vold.fstab and it swaps sdcard and sdcard2. Good luck!

huawei y300-000 rom problems

hi,
firstly i'm unsure where to put this, it's not actually a question, but it may be seen as one.. so, if you prefered it in the Q&A then i'm sorry for getting it wrong.
i've got a lot of issues with the basic version of the software of my phone (huawei ascend y300-0000 is what is written on it, i think it's the chinese version, most of the base apps are chinese), till it died on me and even the recovery wouldn't solve anything, so i had to root, unlock bootloader, install an alternate recovery and finally put some mod roms;
well, i was wrong, since 3 days i can't use my phone, since apparently every rom is for "0100" version and on my phone some roms wouldn't start at all (it shows the first animation continuosly), while others works in everything but the local netwrok ! it totally don't want to recognize my sim (after the first time it also says to put in a sim, while mine is already in);
i also have been trying to install the custom chinese rom MIUI v5, but apparently this isn't booting at all, and forcing upgrade with a retail of B197 gives error while installing.
all this being said, could someone help me to:
if possible, modify a custom rom that is lighter and also has nice options like bluethoot tethering, if it's not.. find something that actually works on this version of the phone,
i'm really at a loss of what to do, i even have downloadeded this shuame program, but it's all in chinese and i'm trying to not break completely my phone
Thanks for your time
i found some chinese roms, just one seems to be working when flashed tho, and in this one the network don't seem to be working either (the phone searchs for a UIM card), is there any way to make it work? i tried flashing some european baseband, but it doesn't seem like it changed anything

J7 Duos Chinese (J7008?) Chinese with ROM

Hi
I have just got hold of one of these but I need to be able to access things like Google Maps, Play Store etc. Essentially my question is simple:
Is there a way to install a custom firmware so I can use my phone like its a UK phone?
If so, can someone show me how? I have tried everything but it keeps re installing a load of Chinese stock apps!
Bit of a noob so even installing CWM or TWRP is a nightmare..
Any help is much appreciated but please keep it simple like me!

Recommendation for Oreo and maybe Custom ROM

I'm not really a very advanced user, but always had rooted devices and two that I flashed Custom Roms. This is my first Samsung, finding Touchwiz to be very different from what I used before.
I bought the S7 (930F) and had the news that it was going to be updated to Oreo, so I decided waiting for the update before tinkering with it.. But the update never came. Finally this month Samsung released the update for my region, so I would like to know which would be the best way for me to start finally using my phone that I bought for over 2 months!
My phone is still with Nougat, is it better for me to get the OTA or to flash the Firmware I downloaded from Sammobile? Any of these methods better than the other in preventing errors? I always found in PCs that a fresh clean install was better than an update, but with mobiles I don't have the experience to say.
My main objective is to experiment before doing a debloat as I'm still not sure what might be useful for me on Samsung's bloat (you are welcome to point me what is useful and what is not).
I did see that some of the Customs ROMS have different camera apps and some people were complaining about this, I particularly liked the S7 camera app and the Pro option, that's what holds me back in flashing a Custom ROM atm.
I would like to Root and I find Unlocked Bootloader to be useful to have Xposed Framework and other things that I can do having it.
As I'm a relative newbie, what would you guys recommend me doing? Please help
tl;dr: I want to have Oreo, be able to debloat, want to root and unlock bootloader, not sure about Custom Rom.
Lineage if you want basic and simple (sort of like stock Android). Resurrection Remix if you're a customisation nut (not a slam... I use RR).
If you wonna full samsung u need flash base firmawre custom roms only 8.0 android
If you dnt need samsung integration (pulsometr doesnt work) you can flash 8.1 roms try cosmic os or Lineage 15
