Reboots are known issue in alpha 8 maybe will get resolved in later updates. for 3G/2G data switching go to Settings>>Wireless and Networks>>More>>Mobile Networks and tick the option "Use only 2G networks".

Wipe catch and delvik

I have this issue when running the deodexed/zipaligned version, but not the straight Odin flash.
Just need to keep wiping & reflashing. I didn't have this problem on my first or fourth flashes, but I did on my second and third flashes.
I had this problem along with the dead home and search buttons. I did a factory data reset and everything is fine. The only recurring issue is the the mms app freezing when attempting to delete a thread.

I am guessing it's a problem with your operator.. Wait for some time.. They may be upgrading or something..

[Q] phone stuck at loading screen!!!!

I was turning on my blue tooth then this happens.
I removed the battery and reboot again and it is just stuck at the loading screen.
I kept doing that and it is still the same.
I am thinking about going to recovery mode and wipe all the data and reset the phone.
But i have some texts and pics that I want to save it into PC first.
What can I do to get all the files out??or is there another way to solve the problem?
First wipe cache, not data, from recovery. Then reboot to see if it works.

I tried. It doesnt work...
In recovery mode select mount and storage and then mount USB while the phone is cabled with the PC. Now you should be able to access the Sd card.

Are you rooted? What rom & kernel are you running? Which device do you have? These are all important questions that could help solve your issue.

Try to download a stock rom then flash it to your phone

Looking at your situation, flashing a new ROM would be the most prominent solution as of now :good:

@deltamandota :
Its may possible that your network is constantly switching from 2g to 3g and vice versa. So try to using only 2g or 3g and see problem persist or not. you can find use only 2g option in settings-> mobile network settings
or for advanced network selection dial *#*#4636#*#* from your dial pad.then select phone information..In that you can select which network mode you want to use..

So, actually your SIM is okey . Problem is your OS. I took my phone to repair and they just installed a new update that "Samsung" released... It's still 4.2.2.
Hey everyone.. I have a problem with the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus.. It just turned off while I was sleeping (battery full charged) and in the morning I couldn't turn it on again.. And it's not working since then..
Does anyone knows the possible solution..? The phone is not rooted..
It's called Sleep of Death - google for it, "seems" a well know issue especially for the s2+.
For some it happens 2-3-4 times/day (poor souls!) other once every two weeks (doable). It has to be an hardware malfunction, maybe a batch of Chipset (from Broadcom) do not toletare frequency/voltage down throttling (on standard firmware) and hangs >:
No clear indication where does it come from (app, driver, official recognition from Samsung), quick advice: some users report no SoD after they flash Omnirom - others just flash a new kernel, other remove the SD card or install some app to prevent Deep Sleep or awake it every X minutes.
If you can German peek here: http://www.android-hilfe.de/samsung...creen-death-nach-4-1-2-jelly-bean-update.html
I should get my hands on a s2+ with Sod.
Another "cold" suggestion, root it, flash a kernel or a new ROM and install "SetCPU": then try different CPU Governors, I higly suspect that something different from the original "Ondemand" could improve the situation (given the implementation is not faulty per se). - or, if the kernel allow that, try to apply NOT undervolting but a slight overvolting for the 200Mhz state.. but so far it's a (gratuitous, generic) wild guess (45 days I can start experimenting :good.
Hold tight and See ya! :fingers-crossed:
