Hi,
I am using SuperSU-v1.51
Tested it on 2-3 different android 4.3 roms on my Nexus S.
Worked every time. Used TWRP and flashed with UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51.zip

[Q] Rcovery Issues

Hey Guys,
I went an bought an Infuse for my daughter's first android and it came with 2..2 so I rooted it and installed CWM and flashed it up to 4.22 ...I'd like to flash one of the 4.3 Roms but every time I try I get the Status 7 error meessage. I'm assuming it's due to an out dated CWM but since I can't update it through Rom Manager and I can't seem to flash TWRP successfully I'm at a loss...Any ideas??
Any help would be appreciated.

when you get the error did you try to flash again the 4.3 rom, if you don't flash twice the rom and post your results.

That did the trick, installed CM10.2 with no problems.... Any custom kernels available for AOSP 4.31 for the Infuse?? Thanks for the help

So you already flashed CWM? Then Download the ZIP file of SuperSU and Flash it with CWM?
Also i Recommend a XDA thread instead of youtube since XDA thread are more secure.
I've tried to flash but its not working.

Are you sure its not already ready to go since you rooted if so just download supersu from the google play store and see if that works.
It downloaded but now it says I don't have root access.

Help

Hi, I installed CM 10.2 in my GT-P3110 but now I want to install Stock 4.2.2 and I do not know how to do this without bricking the tablet because of retogressing its android version. The last time I did it was when I installed CM 10.1 after installing CM 10.2, the tablet got stuck in Samsung logo when booting it.
There is a good tutorial in this forum I returned to stock from cm ,11 last week with no issues

Just be prepared to do a full wipe and it will be fine

Just do a clean wipe and you'll be good. When I change Android versions and/or install a completely new ROM, I always format data too.
Use odin
the only way to retun to ctock is download the latest version of rom from sammobile and use odin to flash

Your phone has to be rooted to install any os on it. I could be wrong but my android device required it
Well to start your phone was never rooted so its not a "re-root" or anything like that. You just need to simply root your phone & install a custom recovery. Im sure you can find those instructions googling or here on xda

Ide recommend a stock rom like cleanrom and I think there are a few on xda.
Until you get used to recovery and the other aspects of rooting. It gets a little complex when you first start down this path. Be careful and always follow all instructions.

Is it better to forego the T-Mobile KitKat OTA?

Hey guys I just got a T-Mobile G2 and have a few questions if you don't mind.
I've been reading through the forums and I see that root and such is still not available for the official KitKat update. So my question is, is it better to not install the KitKat update and just go ahead and root and install TWRP onto my device? Or is it wiser to just install the KitKat update and wait for root? Does the new KitKat update provide a new radio or bootloader that I will eventually need?
I'm looking to install CM11, so just wondering what the best route is. Thanks for any help provided!

If you root and install recovery, you can flash the new radio. The KitKat update does come with the new radio. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you flash the new radio you lose rotation on other roms. If you wanna flash cm11 do not take the update, you'll have to manually downgrade to get recovery.
