[Q] Not sure where to post this, Help with off brand tablet - General Questions and Answers

Hello all!
I'm having a few problems with my android tablet. 1st, a few months ago the tablet would not turn on after leaving it dead for about a week. I tried to charge it but it wouldn't work, so I left it alone for a few months. Today I decided to try to turn on my tablet and it came back to life! BUT when I turned it on, the tablet showed a white screen with lines going through it after the boot up process ended. I restarted the tablet and it went away. Unfortunately it keeps on doing weird things with the screen but only seems to do that when I'm browsing through the play store/downloading apps. I've restored my tablet as new and it's still giving me these problems. Also, now it won't recognize on my PC. It was recognizing a few minutes ago but now the tablet turns white when I plug it up to the computer. I've tried to look on google for help but I can't find any, also I've posted this on AndroidCentral but they've been no help to me at all... If anyone could at least lead me to the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. BTW tablet is : Ployer MOMO9-3 running 4.0.4 I think. If it needs to be updated, can you please advise on that too.
Also want to note that it'll work for about 45min before it freezes, screen turns different color or gets static like and I'll have to reboot.

[Q] Flashing Colors on screen

Hi folks! Long time XDA lurker (Nexus 7, 10, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 forums), first time poster.
I picked up a XOOM off of EBay last week. The device ran well once I got it charged, it did software updates and was running on 4.0.3 with no issues until last night. I went to pop in a micro SD card, and when I pressed the power button to get it out of sleep mode, the screen began flashing colors, cycling between all colors, a checkerboard test pattern at one point, gradients from light to dark, etc. I did a bunch of Google searching last night and found one link where someone had the same issue, but no solution was mentioned. I have also looked here, but no luck. The one link I found last night seems to indicate it's some files from ICS getting corrupted during the update to 4.x, but it wasn't really clear whether that was the case or not.
I have tried the power+vol up button trick; that turns the screen off after a second or two, then the light show begins again. I can't find a way to shut off to be able to get it into recovery mode, and I have tried installing the Lord AIO tool but on running it, it seems to be stuck at the 'list of devices attached' section. Any ideas, other than letting the battery run down to nothing, then maybe it being able to get put into recovery mode? The place I bought it from on EBay does have a 14 day return policy, so I have a few days still to figure this out, but not sure how long it'll take to run the battery down. The light show on the screen does time out after about a minute or two, but I obviously can't keep hitting the power button every two minutes until it does finally drain the battery.
I really like the XOOM, it feels like you're actually holding something real & solid, compared to other tablets, and want to get this back up & running again. Any ideas what I can do next?

Table not booting, have no way to turn it off, only 4 screens available to me HELP!

I have had my tablet for just 2 months now. I haven't tried to root it yet because I am just fine using it stock for now. I left it in my truck over night but I remember when I put it in my backpack the screen was turned off. When I got to it in the morning it was hot like it had been processing overnight. The battery was dead so when I got to work I plugged it in. The screen that came up after plugging it in was an image of a battery with some sort of timer icon in the middle of it. I figured it would need some charge so I left it on that screen for about an hour before trying to turn it on. When I did finally turn it on it booted to the "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" logo screen and stayed frozen there. I rebooted it a few times with no luck. I rebooted into recovery mode (oden) and the screen that came up said "downloading, do not turn off target !!" and gets frozen there as well. I cannot turn it off, the screen will stay on until the battery dies. I am about to take the dam thing back I am so frustrated.
I have searched the forums and the interwebs for some direction with no luck. I know you guys are the best so I was hoping someone here would be able to help guide me to a solution. Thanks.
PS: I have some images of the screens but the forum wont let me post the link until I have more posts so feel free to PM me and i can get you to them
Sounds like a defect device to me, just bring it back to the dealer and you'll get it fixed or get at replacement one!

Ditto.... Overheating is a sign the battery could be about to die... This is a BIG problem... Not only is a hassle for you but can be a fire hazard as well.... Lucky the truck didn't go up....

[Q] tf700 screen does not turn on.

Hey all, this is my first post, so bear with me.
I have my tf700 for allmost a year now. I have unlocked it, rooted it, flashed different roms ( cleanrom, paranoidandroid). last month I decided to unroot it, so i could sell it to a friend
I succesfully unrooted it and it worked perfectly for a week. Then I experienced a low battery shutdown while playing a game, I let the tablet charge fully overnight. and the next day when i tried to turn it on, it just vibrated twice after ten seconds, nothing else.(NOTE: it's the first time it turned off after I unrooted it)
I tried everything, boot into recovery, reset hole.. nothing worked.
At last i tried to connect it to my TV through HDMI... and voila the tablet booted normally on my TV, but the tablet screen was pitchblack.
NOW my question to you, is my screen permanently dead (burned or something???) ? or is there still something i could try (like there is some software fault, because it is the first time the tf700 was rebooted after my Unroot-procedure).
Please help me save my little infinity :'(
I had a friend who had exactly the same problem. He left it for 3 days, came back charged it and it started working again.....

[Q] Transformer won't boot up

My tablet seemed to be frozen and wasn't responding so I tried to restart. It was hanging at the Asus screen with the indicator just spinning. I tried a cold boot and it ran with the same Asus screen for about two hours until the battery died. I plugged it in to charge and a few hours later tried to start it again but I still get the same results. I noticed when I did another cold boot that I do not get any text in the corner of the screen like I think I'm supposed to. I can't turn the thing off so it will be spinning until the battery dies again.
Any advice would be appreciated. I freely admit that these Android devices confuse the heck out of me but I can troubleshoot a computer like a pro. I would appreciate really clear instructions because I'm old and set in my PC ways.

[Q] - ASUS ME302c screen issue

This is more of a "What happened" rather than a "How do I fix this".
Device: ASUS MeMOPAD FHD 10 (ME302C)
Went to school, played on the Internet on my tab for awhile before starting homework. After I was done I found I had some time and wanted to watch some netflix. Pulled out my tab and found it unresponsive. Could have been dead but I know I charged it last night.
Been messing with it trying to get it working (held the power button for 1-2 minutes, tried plugging it in, sacrificing a goat, tried plugging it into my laptop to try and see if I will still recognize a drive). I resolved to let it charge overnight before attempting to pop the case and pulling the battery. Just before I plugged it in again I caught a flickering of the ASUS power up screen. I thought I might be a loose wire or something in the case so I started tapping and jiggling the tab to see if I would come back, but nothing. I come back to google what had happened and randomly the tablet is working fine now.
Big Question: What the heck happened? Little Question: is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks to anyone who can bring me any insight.
