ROTATION MANAGER PREMIUM EDITION
Rotation Manager 3rd Generation is here!
WORKS WITH LOLLIPOP (5.x)

ABOUT
Rotation manager is a tool that lets you choose which application you want to rotate or which one you don't want to rotate. It is a really simple app designed for the least possible power and RAM consumption.
FEATURES
- Force the orientation of each app to your liking.
- Rotate your device freely, without worrying if your apps will change orientation.
- Orientation lock
- Forced Auto option
- Forced inverse portrait/landscape
- App-specific orientation
- Option for permanent notification, called "Permanent Notification mode"
*Premium Version:
- Per App inverse
- Automatic Brightness adjustment
- Automatic Screen timeout
- Automatic Media volume level
HOW TO USE
The floating button is the global orientation for all the apps. It is a 7-state button and gives you all the orientation possibilities. <b>Long click to enter inverse modes.</b> Then you can select from the list for every app your desired orientation. Your selection will override the default global orientation. If you want only two apps to rotate and all the others to stay at their default, just disable global orientation and then select both Portrait and Landscape for the specific app in the list. After you have selected your desired apps, just click on play and your settings will be in effect.
If you want to enable extra features, just click on the 3 dots next to the app's icon and select which features you want to override in each app.
Βy enabling "Permanent Notification mode" from "Preferences" an invisible permanent notification starts which ensures that the service will not be killed by the OS. Enable it if you have low RAM problems and the orientation service stops.

You have the option to enable it, so the app runs on boot each time.
Any help is appreciated!!

Nice start. I think the interface layout is a bit confusing, but it works.
Feature request: Per app ability to force different rotation locks, e.g. one app force portrait, another force landscape. Obviously this would necessitate a UI rethink.

Thanks for the feedback. The only way of doing this without root permissions is with a permanent notification. We may add that option for those who have such problems.
Thanks again!

Yes you can force your orientation preference on any app. For example i set fruit ninja to be only portrait at it worked nice. (Although it sucks that way )

Hi,
thank you for this amazing app!
I don't understand why this feature is not builtin in Android!
I did a quick review about your app here:
http://techcookies.net/rotation-manager-control-which-apps-rotate/
What do you think?

WooW man! Thank you very much. I'll make a reference to your review at the first post.
The review is great! I only have one comment. You say "If Auto-Rotate is On the configuration for each app will be ignored. You can clear all the configuration for each app by tapping on Clear All." Well that is not true. The Auto-Rotate button is System's configuration. It is just a shortcut to that setting. The button that starts our application is the "play" button at the top.
We are still working on the app in order to make it more user friendly, but we are on an exam period right now. So stay tuned...
Thanks again,

Hi,

Obvious tip: Move a shortcut of AltDrawer and replace the old app drawer of your launcher
IMPORTANT, IF YOU'RE ROOT DO THE FOLLOWING:
PREVENT ALTDRAWER FROM CLOSING WHEN IT IS IN BACKGROUND
Move the app to the internal memory before doing this. And recommendable to convert back to user-app (after moving to the internal memory) and reboot before updating.
Click to collapse
Move the apk (once installed) from /data/app/com.xuso.altdrawer.apk to /system/app/
Restart phone.
OR
With Titanium Backup go to Copy/Restore tab, long click on Alt Drawer and select "Convert to system app"
Restart phone.
If you're not root, don't worry you can use the app perfectly too (But you should think about becoming root, it rocks )
Thanks to NiMH_999 for this trick

ICON CONTEST
If you like to design the new AltDrawer icon, just follow this points and send me a PM with your design
- Must be nice
- Must be related to the app
- 128x128 px at least

Well, tried it on SE Xperia x10 with WB's CM6 TW007 ROM with Custom kernel. it works fine but its very very slow (loading the apps in drawer - once the app drawer is loaded it works like charm). Also, if you can add paged view option in Grid style instead of scrolling that would be awesome.
Very good app but the slowness is concern. Uninstall option in the app drawer itself is the best option.
Thanks,
Chirag

Slow? How many seconds does it take? It takes just 2 seconds first time to my LG P500 (600Mhz OC. @ 748Mhz) Anyway, I'll try to optimize it a little
The paged view is a 'Coming soon...' feature, don't know how soon, but yes, it was in my mind. Added to the list.
Thanks for trying and reporting
For me its not slow. Im on galaxy s.
Perfect app drawer. I liked this very much. I hope you develop soon
those coming soon features.
And i wonder if you can make it import go launcher/adw/openhome themes or icons.
Can you make fancy icon backgrounds too if possible?
Very nice!
Been looking for an alternative app drawer for a while now.
Can't wait for updates
Thanks to both. I'll keep in mind that about icons
Tried it several times, also rebooted the phone and tried again but still same takes me anywhere between 20-25 seconds each time I load.
Good work.
Hi,
please improve the load time, 15 seconds is too much.

Galaxy S rom.
Thanks Xuso!
I appreciate the work you've put into this alternate launcher. I love silly little things like being able to customize the drawer background and the option to switch to list view. The fullscreen option is going to rock!
I have about 50 Apps and it takes about 5 seconds to load. Running Synergy-RC1 on an HTC Evo at 998MHz. I think customizing the wallpaper is what is delaying the load time. I've noticed that setting it to solid black has really done the job of making it instantaneous. Perhaps if you took the image file selected, cached a local copy, and optimized the image for minimal memory then you could minimize delay.
Also, with sense there is no real way to change the app drawer functionality to this program. For now it must be done with a shortcut. Do you have any plans for making a widget out of this? I've always wondered why they didn't just have an "App Drawer" widget that lets you scroll through in list form like yours does.
Overall, very happy with the program. Thank you kindly!
*Edit*
I seemed to have made this a little faster by unchecking the "Show 'Back to Home' Button", if only slightly. Not sure why that would really impact things, but having this launch at the same if not similar speed to the built in drawer is currently what I'm trying to do. If you added a 'keep in memory' option that would help to keep the speed consistent. Thanks.

Have you considered making this a home screen replacement? AFAIK there's not a drawer only launcher out there yet, and I have seen a few requests for one...
Thanks for that great app. It took about 3 seconds to load it at first time. I guess that will make some MIUI users happy.

For me does not change at all if there is a solid color or an image as background.
And yeah, I thought the widget idea, but not for soon, I think.

FAQ
Q: Why is the image result is blurred and out of focus ?
A: Try to enable autofocus in setting. And try to not move the phone when taking picture for better result
Q: Can I open other app while taking pictures or recording video? Or turn off my screen?
A: Yes, you just need to press the action button (auto / video) then minimize. You can restore the UI back by clicking the notification. Other way is setup the volume button action, then you can minimize first and trigger the image capture or video recording with volume button.
Q: Run SCOS but no button shown only floating image preview
A: I'm guessing you are using Xiaomi phones or MIUI ROM, you need to enable floating windows option at Android setting - Application Manager - SCOS - checked option about floating window
Q: Using high-res image or video recording causing shutter sound, what can I do?
A: While SCOS try it best to disable the shutter sound still some phone model forcing the shutter sound and SCOS still depends on the API provided by the ROM/OS. If your phone rooted you can remove the shutter sound file located at /system/media/audio/ui, find audio file contain 'shutter'
Q: My video seems corrupt, SCOS was crashed when recording/the phone shutdown because battery empty. What can I do?
A: Sorry to hear that. Some user reported that they can recover part of the video with recovery video tool, so the best bet is you try install recovery video tool for your PC/Mac. I'm adding shutdown handling on V0.4.1 to prevent video corrupt on empty battery.
Q: I've bought SCOS donate app, do I need to buy SCOS2 donate key?
A: No, just email me about it. I'll send you SCOS1 donate key.
Q: It's been a while since last update, do you still maintain it?
A: Yes, although SCOS is not my main job. Join the beta tester to get updated with latest 'quite stable' feature. I'll try to publish it to beta every time I add new feature.
Q: Can I contribute new language or update language (new string / wrong translation)?
A: Sure, all SCOS translation is from contributor. I will appreciate it a lot and it will help non-english speaker use SCOS.
Q: I have great ideas for SCOS
A: Cool, share it here or email it to me through setting - send feedback.
Q: I found bug, crash or some feature not working
A: Sorry to hear that, share it here or email it to me through setting - send feedback.
thats great.

Got your error report, many thanks. I will check on the issue (added to app issues)
It forced closed immediately on my Samsung Infuse running the latest CM10. I'm not sure if the error report went though though. I can try again if not.

Since the application will always portrait, even if your current phone state is landscape it will still portrait.
Do you mean that the app should support landscape mode?

You're right, my bad. I forgot about the tablets..
Will include this on the next version. (Noted on https://bitbucket.org/jimmod/spycamera/issue/13/application-orientation-should-depends-on)
Great app, I do have a feature request
Hide the notification bar when you click "black"
Press screen to take photo while on "black" instead of showing the screen again
also a bug report
if I click back when I am on black, the app just stops responding
I have a galaxy S i900 with ICS 4.1.2
Great!
Works in Galaxy Ace (S5830)
Just some requests.
If I zoom in too much, the zoom out button will dissapear and I won't be able to to zoom out again unless I delete the app and install again, it could also be moveable as a widget
Sounds like an amazing app I shall download at once

For click back on my phones (Galaxy Note & W) is not crashing it, just exit the app. Will change it to close the black screen rather closing the app.
I also notice that on black screen if we doing fake calls (put the phone on our ears) it will close the black screen.
Planned to also change this.

Do you mean the plus(+) button for increasing the preview size.
Noted. Will prevent it to exceed the screen width on next version.
For moveable preview I will need to think from UX perspective.

That's strange. You need testers, but you won't make the app public to gather lots of testers. So, what's the reason for this procedure? Maybe then we understand.

2) Application runs fast
3) No force close
4) Screenshot feature of Apps does not work. Everythink is black.
5) Not yet
6) There are apps shown as running, which are not running. When I used the "kill all" function, sometimes not all apps were closed. Sometimes the Task Manager seems to be opened twice. While scrolling thru the apps, you can see in the background the same apps again.

1) Stock android application manager doesn't show really all running applications, so no problem with this point
2)when you press "kill all" button, there is some applications (services) that cannot be closed (like Facebook, skype, ...) so when you reOpen the Task Manager you will see it back (there is no avaible android Task Manager that is able to completely kill them, that is why we developed the "Super-Kill" function, that will completely kill those applications

CallFlash! Flash alert on Calls, SMS & Instant Messaging apps!
CallFlash controls the flash for calls and other notifications. This way you can be notified by your flash for every notification. It is an opensource project, aiming to keep things simple and functional.
If you want any third party app to be added in the list just email me at [email protected].
IF THE FLASH DOESN'T TURN ON CHANGE THE FLASH DRIVER FROM PREFERENCES->MODULE DRIVER. THERE ARE THREE AVAILABLE.
Prefer Standard over Alternative and Alternative over Alternative 2. If the flash doesn't turn on with either of these drivers send me an email at [email protected].
Before rating bad please try all three flash drivers from settings. Samsung devices tend to work with the Alternative driver only. Thanks
*********************
If your phone starts talking after enabling the "Notification Service" this is a Samsung-Talkback issue:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=23105
Unfortunately there isn't much I can do for that. There are many solutions out there. Choose what works for you.
*********************
Problem with Handcent?
Go to Handcent → Settings → Application Settings → Default Messaging application → Disable.
You may also disable "Play animation" in the "Send" settings. (Thanks Todd)

- Donate via viewing an ad.
- New update notification on start
- Option to disable flash if battery is low

Creative idea, works well on Nexus 4, stock 4.3.
I'm assuming the "Flash duration" you have for SMS notifications is the the max amount of time the flash will blink for a new message. This isn't reflected during the "Test".
Also, don't know if it's your setting or an Android default but I like how the sliders change the values in increments of 10 and not 1.
Lastly, I am kinda concerned about making my flash blink. Any chance of damaging it?
Looking forward to new versions
Not working on LG optimus 3d p920 please make It work..thanks

Works great on Galaxy S3. 4.2.2 Illusion 2.1 ROM.
Works Great on my Verizon S3 running Rootbox 4.2
I was thinking maybe you could make it so you could choose how many times it would flash. such as just making it flash twice or 3 times.
Just a thought.
Nice Job.
Peace
Works well on my sprint note 2 running slim bean.

Damaging flash is an issue indeed, but only when you lower the on time very much. I might add a lowest value constrain in order to be sure. Although I've never heard anyone bricking his flash.

Hi, like it sofar!
any chance of adding the possibilty to link it with the volume of the phone (like when the volume is set on "silent", the Caller Flashlight will take over)?

Looks nice! Xposed Framework doesn't begin with "e", though. Just saying.
Works good on Xperia E with CyanogenMod 10, 4.1.2.
Is it possible to record and show force closes?
Nice lil program. I'd pay to get rid if the ads.
This is brilliant! Thanks for the app.
1. Is it possible for the logs to show what app accessed the GPS and Network location (not just turn the GPS On and Off from settings)?
2. What app accessed the location through the fused API as opposed to the more inefficient direct access?
3. Let the end-user select what to log instead of everything?
4. What app opened a data connection?
5. More specifically did the app use the data sync adapter?
6. Can you please consider making your app ad a little less intrusive?
Thanks for the app!
What about an option to log failed device/SIM unlocks?

Sure, will add it to my todo list
Please note that what app currently logs is about everything that can be logged without help of xposed framework.
New version published to play store.
Changelog:
Version 1.0.1
☑ Fixed Media Play/Pause detection
I will update op with changelog and attach new version shortly
Is it possible to add an option to save the log to a txt file?
yep, ill add it in one of future releases
This is really great. Good job. And thanks a ton.
My request would be to include an option to log activity's as well.
In the ROM I use, there is a custom shortcut to the Cyanogen mod Profiles that pops up a little window that I can select which profile I want. I have been trying to find a way I can manually trigger this shortcut other ways. So far no luck.
This will be quite useful for lots of stuff though. Again thank you!

Not trying to bust anybodies bubbles, but isn't this the EXACT copy of the Trust Event Logger by @Dark3n? Same UI, same features, same everything! I love this neat little App by @Dark3n - did you just copy and modify his code, @pedja1? Hopefully this isn't the case. But if I'm right with my assumption, how come this well-known App by @Dark3n could be featured again on the XDA-Portal without noticing that it already exists by a different developer, @willverduzco?

You are right, UI does look like @Dark3n's app, and that's because while i was making my app i looked at how he did it cause i like how he designed his app.
But i certainly didn't decompile his app and did a copy/paste.
As for the "EXACT copy", you are very wrong. If you compare feature list of both apps you will see that my app supports a lot more events that Trust.

Is there anyway you could add a lock option? Like only being able to see the logs after you put a password, otherwise you can't access but it keeps logging?

You can accomplish that with another app. If you use Avast, for example, it has an app locking feature that doesn't interfere with app functionality. There are also dedicated apps for locking.
Though, a native locking feature would be pretty cool.

Thanks for being vigilant @SecUpwN , but he did not copy any code from me.
( @willverduzco i checked)
@pedja1 you were maybe a bit uncreative copying the design so closely, but thats all, one could take it as a compliment .

Might not be a low memory issue but related to the "recent-tasks-swipe".

Thanks for clarifying this.
Sorry for copying design so closely, but i really had no inspiration, and Trust looks really cool
btw. i really like SD Main, best cleaning tool for android. My sincere recomendation to everyone.
About "recent-tasks-swipe" thing.
Yes you are right about that, but Service also doesn't get restarted on 4.4, even if i start it with START_STICKY
Spam Ads Galore!
Constantly pops up spam ads. Irritating as hell. I understand ad-supported apps and use them, but this was just ridiculous. Could barely close the app they were popping up so often. Uninstalled.
