Hello,
i bought some nice beats Monster tour headphones with controletalk.
I realized that my phone Desire S with Endymion rom does not recognizes the headphones as an Headset. So i figured out that my headphones are recognized as an Headset with mic when i plug them in with the wolume + pressed.
The headset symbol is shown in the infobar above but i cant use the mic and the colume buttons. Just ending a call is possible,nothing else.
So has anybody any idea what the issue could be.
Normaly my Phone should be fully compatible with the Headphones beacuse the ROM is the official Sensation XL rom with comes stock with Beats by Dre..
And much older HTC Phones are official listed as capable with this headphones.

I have the same problem with CyanogenMod 7.1 stable installed.
Omg, really? I was seriously considering a pair of beats tour, but without the mic, so I'd be fine
How is it with Endymion?
Are they good? Do they integrate well with the beats, srs and Dolby?

Hey guys, I see that a lot of ROMs have beats audio ported. On the HTC Sensation, would the Beats Audio port be equivalent to a HTC One S in terms of sound quality? And what exactly does the Beats Audio mod do to the sound?

Just applies an equilizer preset.
Remember that on the xe original 3.6 stock Rom, if you don't plug in headphones with a Mic you get the bass boost preset - that or beats. If you want pure sound without any effects for.your good headphones, perhaps you should try either a sense 4 rom or a pure ics one, or not using HTC built.in music player

Sense 4.0 (ordroid) now sounds different, for the worse and j believe it is being worked on. Otherwise you can always try android revolution hd

I have installed CM 10.1 nightly version on my HTC one XL.
But from then my Beats audio headset controls arent working.
Neither the mic works while on call.Please help me to get it working again as i have habit of listening to music while driving.

use another app it's known issue in cm ...and you are in wrong forum...this is for one x not XL
There is no beats audio on the m8 right?
can anynone tell me how does music sound compared to the m7?

I own Beats Urbeats in ear and Solo headphone . Solo is so loud with my HTC M7 and Sensation xe(tried lots of mods ) .
My friend suggest Evita, as it will be a best match for Beats Headphones with Sound enhancer and its Beats audio profile.
Before buying it please clear my doubts.
New At&t Htc Evita comes with ICS or Jelly bean ?
Does Beats Profile in ICS has----- URbeats,Solo,pro and Studio option? (If any one still has ICS please post a screenshot)
Did Htc removed Beats profile in Evita Jelly bean update like they did in One x International Gsm?
