Try Phone info. If it does not work then factory reset.
Go to Settings > More... > Mobile Networks. You should be able to change your network settings there.

Hi, I have a rooted HTC Desire CDMA running CM7.1... My carrier is puertorican local company named Open Mobile. I need the APN settings for this carrier as I can't send MMS (I can receive them and SMS and Data plan work just fine). Also, my phone now says it's on US Cellular Network!?!? All I've found is this info: mms.openmobilepr.com:1981/ (put this info on GOSMS but still can't send MMS)
HELP PLEASE!!

Download APN Manager Pro. Is not free but does the job.
Then create an APN and fill the blanks with this info.
apn name="Production"
numeric="00000"
mcc="000"
mnc="00"
apn="1"
user="leave it blank"
server="leave it blank"
password="leave it blank"
proxy="leave it blank"
port="leave it blank"
mmsproxy="leave it blank"
mmsport="1981"
mmsprotocol="2.0"
mmsc="http://mms.openmobilepr.com" type="mms"
Not every item will be on the APN MANAGER PRO, but it will give you the necessary items to complete the APN Settings.
ENJOY
PS: If you find out how to increase the MMS back to 500KB and could send the help that would be awesome. I can only receive up to 299KB MMS after the root.
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone here know how to hide the developer options once you've unlocked them? I've searched Google and XDA with no luck. Any help will be appreciated.
BUMP! I'm wondering this too, Google should've made it so that retapping the Build Number removed dev options...and it could say "You are now an average joe."

If you already root and don't want to losing your settings just install root explorer..open it and navigate to data/data/com.android.settings/shared_prefs/development.xml..edit and change value "true" to "false"..save and exit..then delete development.xml.bak..after that go to settings>apps>all>Settings..open it then force stop..then open Settings app to check it..voila! developer options disappeared!

Unfortunately no. That file has nothing in it on my device. :-\
Without root
You can achieve this by clearing setting app data.
Goto Settings -> Apps -> Slide3 left till you get to All -> scroll down to find Settings (about 3/4 the way down) -> touch Settings' -> Touch 'Clear Data'
This works for me.
You may need to disable debuggiing first because this may leave debugging enabled.

Up address can't be changed though I can help you get the modem settings on phone :
First install speedtest.net it tells you your ip address then paste it in browser now it asks for username and password and that details are written on WiFi modem itself generally it is admin and pass login

Those who are getting wifi disabled when the modem or router is at a distance:
1. Use manual configuration
Go to wifi > long press on netwrk which gets disabled > modify network >show advamced option,check it > ip settings, change to static > configure it
2. Go to internet settings using192.168.1.1 or whatever you have > wireless network > disable authentication or use WPA 2 authentication, than save it
This should help as it worked for me in lewa rom and some others
Thanks if i helped

The second point is related to modem setting through PC.
you need to enter the ip address provided to you by the modem manufacturer in the internet browser. (generally is 192.168.1.1).
then enter the id and password as mentioned on the backside or at the bottom of the modem. (Generally "admin" is used as ID and password)
and them apply the setting mention in the second point.
Hope this was helpful.

There are CDMA Mobile sellers in India who programmed Samsung S3 to use CDMA network in India. They flash apn settings file using DM mode.I contacted one of them, now data is working fine using CDMA network but he refused to give me that apn file. If you factory reset your mobile then that programming will get deleted and you were unable to use data on CDMA Sim.
Any one have any idea how to flash apn settings file using DM mode?
Where you did this? I mean I too wish to flash that file for my s3

Google search " patch cdma to gsm phone" & download the zip file & make sure to follow instructions & flash the zip file via recovery then you should be all set

Edit your build prop using build prop editor app then apply this code;
ril.sales_code=LOL
ro.csc.sales_code=LOL
Go to playstore & search APN BACKUP AND RESTORE APP install it read the instructions of how to use this app & make it a system app with lucky patcher go to the settings of this app then disable ICS check, reboot. install APN SETTINGS app use this add apn for GSM network.
Note; I don't think it's possible to use CDMA for another CDMA network without limitations

For GSM data I can add APN without doing anything from settings but unable to add apn for reliance cdma. as scorpions mentioned above he is now able to use CDMA data with some patch m looking for working CDMA data patch.

For GSM no need to add APN.. You can use data without APN settings. There is one cdma mobile seller at bhiwandi Mumbai. Nitin if you want I will provide you his mobile number.
