I will test it soon and update the list
Is this bug still in the new Version (16-Aug) ?

Hi all,
For Signal, Small arrows do not exist but the gray or blue signal color indicates that the data connection works
no HotSpot, the data connection is initialized but can not have an IP.
4ext says that i need root, but couple second after that message, i get in recovery, and it shows me Backups
:silly::silly:

Has anyone else had a problem with the ROM restarting everytime an app crashes? Also, tried everything I can think with the battery. Is there another solution for the irregularity issues(turn on -> 99%, turn off - turn on -> 7%, turn off - turn on -> 33%, turn off - turn on -> 72%, turn off - etc)? I've tried reseting the battery stats, draining it and fully charging it countless times, charging it without the phone(in a dock).
Thanks

Wi fi connection issues
I have noticed some random problems in connecting to wi-fi. I had to reboot my phone in one instance to get it to connect to a wi-fi access point. Other than that, I have not experienced any major problems on 10.2. I'm currently using the Aug 21 build of android1234567's ROM. I'm very impressed, so far...

SOLVED: Wifi won't turn on/connect - Wifi : Error (Stock rom)

I have been Googling like crazy and I've found several posts on various different boards. There's really no reason to link any of them, most are regarding older HTC phones.
What I've managed to find out, is that on some HTC phones that get this problem (if it's not custom rom or an upgrade issue) the WIFI antenna is loose. It just needs to be opened and re-connected.
ORG POST BELOW:
So, went to bed....turned wifi off because I was low on battery. Woke up, charged the phone. Tried turning on wifi, but all I get is "Error" after a couple of seconds. No wifi icon or anything else in the notifications bar. 3G work fine, can turn this on and off.
What's up doc?
Oh, I have stock rom and havent changed any setting, updated anything or done anything to my phone at all since yesterday.
Bluetooth won't turn on either!
Broken antenna in the case? Bad connector pins?
Anybody?
Did a factory reset, changed SD card, wiped that, did a factory reset. Wifi still won't turn on, no icon in notification bar, get "error" in the "Wireless & networks" menu.
Removed back cover, cleaned contacts, checked for cracks in the cover. Nothing.
The phone is 35 days old.....this is a new record for bricked phone for me.

The store/repair center has, according to the manifest I got, done the following:
- Conductive Fabric.Flash to Chassis.PYD
- Rigid-Flex Board ASSY.Upper board.w/oGPS diversity
antenna.w/o_Regional_ID. PYD
- Adhesive-Double Tape.power-keyFPC.CN-4490.PYD
- Conductive Fabric.Flash to chassis.PYD
Apparently, they changed the whole board. It also appears as the camera is new, because there was a small scratch on the metal casing and that's now gone.

No, they just changed your Main Flex Ribbon Cable, as I just finished repairing mine myself from water damage (power button wasn't working at all and it would randomly turn off either mid call or receiving a call 8/10 times). When I was quoted £110 to fix it at the shop I was like screw this, went on to buy the Main Flex Ribbon Cable (which is essentially the whole upper board of the phone) for £44 off ebay and changed it over myself. This part comes with the camera case which you mention you had a scratch on. When you change the boards over you actually have to unplug the cameras from the old one and plug em into the new one. Everything works fine now except for the wireless, which when I try to turn on, it comes up with error now. I'm just happy that I can use my phone without worrying about missing calls or not being able to turn it on without adb commands while I am out, leaving me essentially stranded....

If you're rooted, boot into recovery, wipe dalvik cache and cache then reboot. This worked for me.

[Q] I discovered a bug? Clock out of sync with wifi.

Hi everyone,
I guess I. Have discovered a bug.
First I fought it is a bug on insertion 5.4.1 then I have full wiped and flashed ARHD 6.5.1. When I'm associated to wireless and leave my phone in standby the clock is getting out of sync. I've tried several tests to reproduce the out of sync. Im using Leedroid tweaks v4 lite with ultrasmooth Rosie applied. But it has nothing to do with rosie either. I can reproduce the problem on stock rosie too. On mobile data the problem does not happen only on wifi. It is happening on both roms so maybe it is a bug in the base? You need to leave your phone to sleep for a few minutes and unlock and check the clock accuracy. If the screen stays on and you are using it, it will not happen.
Firmware 3.32
Can someone test and confirm this please?
You mean when you come out of standby, and the clock flips? That's a "feature" of Sense. It's to show that its pretty.

No my friend, I mean the system time/clock is not accurate anymore it is behind the actual time. Not that simple
Make a screenshot please
It's probably a bug in the new base. I've noticed my time falling behind and I have mobile data always on.
I ended up syncing time with network once, then unchecking the network sync to let the internal clock handle the timing. Lame workaround, but it's all I could think of for now.
Current setup is InsertCoin 5.1.1, 3.32 firmware, manually desensed, newest radio and RIL, tmous network.
/edit
No LeeDroid tweaks or Rosie mods here. Well, no Rosie period haha.

How can I show you this problem with a screen shot lol You wouldn't be able to know that the clock/time is out of sync. If I will have time I will post a video there you could see it.
Did you tried to reproduce this on your phone?
Regards...

Hi rawrfische,
I've used that workaround earlier too, thxs for sharing anyway.
I just wanted to let others know about this problem, maybe dev's and/or HTC (which is watching this forums like any other vendor) can make a fix out of it.
A Question on your edit; did you mean you were using Leedroid tweaks as well and get rid of it and the issue was gone? Or did you mean that in your opinion this has nothing to do with it?
Thanks again..
Update on issue;
This is not happening on all wireless network. I'm using a cable connection at home and somehow it is related to this type of Modem.
Another workarround is to change the wireless sleep profile to "When scrren off" so the clock will sync to the correct time when the device is in sleep as it will be disconnected from wifi. Maybe this will help others with this kind of strange behavior on some sort of Wi-Fi Modems.
I've been having the same problem, the total offset for a day can get as high as 10 minutes!!!!
Same problem o Darkforest and Leedroid ROM's, now I've installed an app called ClockSync an set to sync every hour, the average offset per hour is 20secs.
Actually this thing is very annoying, hope it gets fixed on new releases.

[Q] MW 4.3 - Data connection misbehaviou

Dear All,
it is about a month I am happly using Mildwild 4.3 (Oxy). Quick,no memory hangry and battery last quite enough not to bring my charger along side.
But...there is always a but, I have a small list of issues/questions I would like you to have a look at and maybe give me some heads up:
(listed in order of importance ..for me)
1) Data connection - I go to Wireless & Network settings --> Mobile Networks -- > Data enable I select it. Sometime the effect is the desired one: my data conntection switchs on and I am on the network. Unfortunately 8 times out 10 nothing happen. The workarounds I have found are the following a) Switch to 2G -> 3G (or the other way around). b) go Airplane mode and then go back to normal. c) Let the gsm reconnect on the GSM network
Any idea what s happening? Is it a known bug?
2) Incoming call - The main reason why I migrate from MildWild 5.0 CM to Mildwild 4.3 Oxy is because on incoming call I had a delay in the conversation, basicaly the first 2 seconds were mute. With this rom looks like the 2 seconds freeze period have migrated to the screen. Basically on incoming call for the first 1 or 2 seconds my screen stays black and I cannot neither answer nor hang up. Really annoying expecially if I forgot to put it on silent and I find myself in a middle of a meeting. What I really miss from the original HTC desire OS is the flip functionaly capable to mute the phone flipping it face down.
3) New release - Does anyone knows when a new release will be available? (4.4??...)
Well that s all my androians. I am looking forward to receive your feedback
Ciao
Stefano
Hey folks! Anyone has suggestion (expecially for my point 1) ??

I've seen behaviour a bit like this with MW 4.3, I think it was because it didn't have the right APN settings for my network. I looked up the right settings and created two new APNs, and my phone is behaving better now.
It seems like MW 4.3 has a limited range of network settings, eg. here in Germany it lists the main networks but not all the MVNOs (resellers).

4.4 is out this week: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1353861
However it won't boot on my Desire (PVT4), despite a full factory-reset and wipe. It just sits there on the boot screen until the battery runs out, so I'm back on 4.3 for now. And I'm caught in the "you have't posted 10 times yet so you can't post in the main thread" trap, so I can't report it in the most obvious place.
Cheers m'dears,
Bryan

Hi Bryan,
I could not resolve the connection problem. my parameter are ok. I made few more identical APN (just to give it a try) but with no benefit.
On the other hand I have just downloaded the 4.4 installed on top of the 4.3 (no wipe) and apparently it s working fine (could not no major improvement so far)
Cheers

Thanks, maybe I'll try 4.4 on my other Desire (a PVT1, I think) just to see if it works there.
This wouldn't be the first time I've had odd behaviour from the PVT4, by the way - its GPS wouldn't work under Mildwild-CM5, whereas earlier models were fine.

FIX: CM12 no calls, sms, mms on Deep Sleep and Bluetooth connectivity issue.

I rarely post here anymore but if this helps anyone that was dealing with the same frustration I was then great! As in all things technology related YMMV.
Many of us have experienced issues with the lack of incoming data on deep sleep as well as the inability to pair or switch to a bluetooth device while both on or off a call. In my case, I couldn't even connect my bluetooth devices to my cars even once paired.
This has solved the issue on both my OPO running Exodus and my wife's OPO running stock, rooted, unlocked, CM12S 17L. By the way... her Ok OnePlus trained on the first time.
The solution that worked for me was;
SKIP TO #2 if already running your desired ROM
1. Flash any CM12 based ROM you choose following the instructions of the OP
2. Flash the CM11 Modem Package
3. Flash the Proximity sensor package
4. Wipe Dalvik/Cache (i do this between every package flash but probably not needed)
5. Reboot system and set up.
6. Clear Bluetooth Share Cache and Clear Data (Settings - Apps - All - Bluetooth Share)
Profit.
Here is a updated link to the modem - http://wikisend.com/download/143816/CM11s_XNPH05Q_modem.zip
Quick question. Does this also include the old touchscreen driver? Might be a good way to also fix the so called ghost touches that I started having after flashing newest modem

Some clarifications needed:
When flashing a cm12 rom we must be already in a cm12 firmware so if we flash cm11 modem on that won't it cause any compatibility issues ?
I haven't observed issues with proximity sensor , can you explain what is the proximity fix for ?
Thanks in advance

The modem will not cause any compatibility issues and the proximity sensor will help with any issues you might have with gestures not functioning like circle for camera or prevent unlock. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Hey man , bit late with my feedback. what you said was correct, cm11s modem fixes the issue :good:
I have tried it that week itself since you said i wouldnt be disappointed.
before seeing your post i have done much testing on many roms , kernels , gapps etc.and finally settled with exodus 5.0.2 with its default kernel which was running fine.. but i couldnt use 5.1.1 roms coz of the delay. The probable reason is the too long heartbeat interval Push notifications delayed, Hearbeat Interval not reliable
it is the combination of new source and kernels effect when working with lollipop modem.
I was also not impressed by the lollipop modems (coz of its reception was not that great for me )
so im happy with the cm11s modem and btw new ak kernel is available which fixes the touch issues without battery drain :good:
Thanks once again
Glad it helped.

What's your MMS issue?
no sending/receiving without an active wifi connection... Was working fine on 4.X but issue is persitent on 5.X (cms12s, cm12, cm12.1). I don't understand why... mms are sent through mobile data in france (instead of the issues with at&t i can find everywhere on internet).
no solution so far.

MMS is also sent through mobile data here as well on ATT. Can you provide more info to your issue as I was having mms issues on 5.1.1 as well but found a solution.
What do you need ?
I've tried many SMS apps. I've verified My apn many times. Tried many cm builds and cm12s. Worked fine on cm11s.
When i'm about to receive a MMS i got a notification (i currently use textra) saying that it canot download. After many tries it eventualy works. Configuring apn directly in SMS app don't fix. It works almost all time when wifi is enabled and connected. Same issue when i want to send.
Apps tested: hangouts , aosp, Google messenger, go SMS, smitten and textra.

Have you checked the size limits for mms? I was having the same issue until recent build. One mms would prevent anything from sending.

Hi !
Yes ! Textra can limit the MMS size (300ko). Have also enabled "auto activate data" un default SMS app
Problem is send and receive so not a file size issue i think.

Valaran,
Sorry for the delay in responding. Have you found a fix for your mms issue? Your's seems to be the opposite of mine in that if I have an active WiFi connection and my phone is in deep sleep I get no messages. Recently I've used profiles to set my connection on 2G/3G whenever connected to WiFi to ensure I get messages and phone calls when the phone sleeps.
Have you done the basics like checking apn and ensuring your imei is registered with your carrier?
Yes ! My MMS were sending fine on cm11s. I switch My operator tomorrow i'll see if it dix this issue.
Anyone that is still experiencing the issue please follow this link and vote this subject up.

This is the bug log for Cyanogen and they just escalated the issue to critical.

Nexus 5 problems after updating to 6.0 Marshmallow.

Well, I've updated my Nexus 5 about a month ago when I got the OTA. After the update I made a Factory Reset, and installed all the apps from scratch as I usually do. My phone has never been rooted, or had the bootloader unlocked, or anything... I'm just a regular user. I've been experiencing the most frustrating problems ever since the update. I've never had this many problems through Lollipop or even KitKat. I'll make a list of the things I've noticed:
- Battery Life got worse. I just don't see any improvement at all. With 5.1.1 I got to work with 100%, and when I got back home, about 85%. Now I get home with 75% - 70%.
- Problems with WiFi. The first 2 weeks using Marshmallow, I've noticed on the Battery Settings that WiFi was using between 25% - 45% of the battery. Usually on 5.1.1 it used between 1% and 5%. I solved this making a Factory Reset and a Wipe Cache Data from the Recovery Mode. Also I disabled both WiFi and Bluetooth Scanning from the Location settings.
- Settings app crashing when trying to access to "Data Usage" settings. I had this problem on Lollipop too. It solved itself after updating to 5.1.1 but it came back on 6.0. I solved it making another Wipe Cache Data from the Recovery Mode.
- After fixing this other two, I've started noticing problems with the Proximity Sensor on calls and Whatsapp while listening to audio messages. I haven't solved this one yet, but I don't care much about it.
- Apps crashing, particularly Google Photos and sometimes Instagram (when trying to take a photo or a video from the app, I didn't have any problem when uploading from the gallery.).
- Slow charging or even discharging. I usually plug my phone at night to the wall adapter. Every once in a while it charges really slow or even discharges. I have no idea if it's the battery itself, or the microusb connector. I even bought a new wall adapter, and the problem persisted. THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN ON 5.1.1!
I'll try to upload screen captures and more details later. I know many reported some of this problems before so please, comment and help!

Hello !
You can solve all of your problems very easily !
- Download the Android 6.0 ROM from Google Developer and flash it. That should fix all of your softwares problems. [https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/hammerhead-mra58n-factory-aeca4139.tgz]
- To fix the charging issue, which I faced it too ! Use another charger which has the following details - 2.0A/5V (I use Samsung Tab Charger, charges real quick !! )
That's all !!
