Trick to lock application in memory (for android 4.0+ rom) - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

(Before trying this method make sure you have backup rom from clockworkmod recovery)
There are some people who are interested in locking app in memory. I found a way which can do this easily You need following mods
1) Xposed framework
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
2) 'App setting' app based on xposed framework
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072081
Installation procedure -
- First install xposed framework (its very easy. Please refer xposed framework thread).
- After that install "app setting" app and enable this app in xposed framework module section.
- Now open "app setting" app and choose app which you want to lock in memory.
- After that enable application setting option.
- Now you will see lots of options. Just tick 'resident' option. And finally save it. I have attached screenshot for more info.
Screenshot -

}
Thats it. Your app is locked I have checked it on dhiru's cm10.1 alpha 8 rom by locking opera mini app which gets easily killed when too many apps are opened. But after locking it by this method its not at all killed by any way
NOTE - Dont lock too many apps. It may affect badly on memory management.

Good trick, thanks.

How to go into deep sleep

So before we start,i just want to confirm that this works on all phone models and you don't even need a rooted phone to do this..
Ok let's begin!
Requirements
hone (Common sense?)
:Advanced Mobile Care
:CPU Spy (Optional)
Instructions:
☺Download Advanced Mobile Care here
☺Run and press the Menu button>Preference
☺Navigate to Task Killer and set Auto Kill to Screen Off
☺And you are done!
To check the results,leave your phone overnight and check CPU Spy the next day and you should get something like this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Note:This will not work if
*AMC is killed by another task killer
*Phone is charging
*WiFi is on
Please leave a comment or click the thanks button if I had helped you

[Solution][EASY] Say NO to 'Running out of Storage' - Gain Space in Internal Storage

Hey guys,
I found out an easy way to gain internal storage in Xperia L. This problem was common after installing a custom rom. And this method is working on the stock rom too.
This not a complicated method. No scripting need. You don't want to create any partition or partition tables.
This is just a easy piecy method.
THE DEVICE MUST BE ROOTED FOR THIS...
Just install the following app from the link provided bellow.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp&hl=en
Then Go to the menu > Move to sdcard
just select ONE app at a time. Then move it. :laugh:

You gain some storage for apps? (for me- YES :fingers-crossed: ) Yey!
HIT THANKS BUTTON IF I HELPED YOU..
Yay thanks for the solution! Btw I see that you are on kitkat right? What rom is that, does it drain your battery and does it have the annoying wake up bug?

Hmm...... These icons look like those on cm11... I think it is kitkat or maybe 4.2.2 aosp????
Another easy way is to move apps to system,usually system has more free memory if you are using custom ROM

Where is network activity indicator on cm13?

I'm running CM13 CAF by sultan with lightning kernel (best combo)
But the rom won't have any statusbar network indicator, i searched in xposed but the only option is "hide" not "show"

Check http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-networkspeedindicator-v0-9-t2636971
You need to change xposed settings to show beta versions.
I already have this module, you see on my screenshot? I need the triangles inside wifi and data icon, but thanks anyway

[APP] [4.0+] Auto- Reboot- Automatically Restart Your Device At Set Time [Root]

Auto-Reboot/Restart/Scheduler
Root Required
I have lots of apps on my device and i am sure you do to.Most of these apps continue to run in the background even if you stop using them.
Eventually the device becomes slower, consumes more battery and needs a reboot/restart!
Why manually reboot your device when you can use "Auto Reboot/Restart" With this "Auto-Reboot" app you can set you device to automatically restart daily at any chosen time lets say 3:00am. This helps your phone to clear out its ram and start the day fresh.
Auto Reboot/Restart does require your device to be Rooted
*Lightweight Application Size
*Set Auto-Reboot/Restart Time and let the App Do The Rest
*Enjoy Much More Responsive Device
NOTE May Not Work On All Devices View The "Compatibility Information" for more details.
Feel Free To Contact me with any Bugs Or Requests of Issues if Any. I'm Always here to help.

Great
Great little application bro.
Any chance of adding the ability to choose which days to perform the restart?

Hey thats a good idea i'll try implementing this
Hello there, great app, works flawlessly. But sucks to be using an LG phones, new unlocked bootloader's require a power button input to boot anyways since this app requires root, mind sharing the source code?
