I'm having a problem with video playback in general on my Lenovo A820 with Android 4.1.2. All video plays back slowly, video & audio seem to stay synced, it's just very very slow. This happens in Hulu, Netflix, Bloomberg, any app that plays streaming video. I haven't tried any locally stored video yet.
The problem is occurring on both the stock rom (with CWM recovery) and on a custom rom.

I have searched and searched but the only threads I've found related are for older phones with gingerbread. Other than this the phone works just fine.

Hello,
Suddenly I have a problem with YouTube video playback. The videos start streaming ok, but the appear small (not fullscreen) and very low quality. It used to work fine. The locally recorded videos play nice even in 720p. The problem is with the streaming video player.
I installed the LagFix (which works miracles) at somepoint earlier. Do you think that this could cause this problem? Any one else has seen it? The device is a Samsung S.

Ok, so I have ICS ROM from Mike1986, not sure which version - there have been updates since but I've noticed that when trying to watch videos from websites using the browser, the video plays fine, I just have no sound?
I also just noticed that when recording videos using the camcorder and playing the video back, I have no sound aswell.
I have a Sensation.
Any ideas? I need sound!
I have noticed that everytime I play hd videos online, the video player controls won't go away and just keeps on going on and off. I do have other video players other than the stock one, and I have no problem playing videos using the youtube app, or the stock browser. Playing videos offline is also not an issue, as this problem only occurs when I use other browsers like dolphin, and skyfire. Just to be clear, I am talking about just about any hd, or hq videos online from any site. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a way for me to play said videos using another player? thanks.
P.S I am running on stock ROM.
If the videos are on either PutLocker or Nowvideo, you can use this. It plays the file in your favorite video player.
Ever since I update to lollipop on my one plus one I been having a problem with video playback on web videos. (Sorry if there is another thread, didn't know what to search). The video will play for a little while then go back to starting position but audio will continue. This also happens when I play the video with another video player. If more information is need just ask?
I was shocked to see that many custom roms for lenovo p2 had video recording bug,i then tried many ways and found out a solution for playing videos.
1. First of all,install mx player and set it as default video player.
2. In mx player's settings>decoder>set hw+ as default decoder.
3. In player>default playback speed,set playback speed at 400%.
4. Here you go,you will be able to play all your videos recorded through custom rom's camera app.
