This is a self-compiled kang of CM12 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, most comparable to a CM nightly build. You need not apply if you’re not comfortable with testing out new and possibly broken features. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit. Thank you to @RyanMacG for providing Euroskank hosting.

Intro...
Hey folks,
Before anyone asks "don't we already have some unofficial cm10.2 roms?".....this is a lil different. This has cherry picks that haven't been merged into CM, yet. It's even more unifficial than the officially unofficial builds.:good:
Some of you may already use Jellybro on a different tablet or phone. I got talked into running builds for Flo, even though I haven't purchased one, yet. It works exactly as well as the other Jellybro's, so feel free to unofficially interflash with the other more official unofficial versions.
I primarily use grouper and tf300t, so that's usually my reference for feature functionality.
Hope some of you find this build more fun than the typical nightlies.

It's always good to see different builds with different cherry picks

The Banks gapps seems fine for now, until an "official" one is relased. When that happens, we'll mirror it on Euroskank,

Thanks for the jellybro build. :good:

Thanks for building these. I have been liking cm10.2 on this device and can't wait to try these builds.

Very smooth and running beautifully. The only hiccup was while browsing xda the browser said it stopped responding once. Running on stock kernel.
This issue is pervasive for me. Happens on stock ROMs and other ROMs too where the page just stops working. Always on xda site. Links can't be click and my browser justs becomes unresponsive. Anybody know the reason?

Hmmm....Do you have that issue on any other devices, too?
I generally only use the stock kernels. I almost never use the stock browser. I typically use Dolphin or Chrome. And I use Tapatalk on phones/tabs for XDA.
Soooo.....I guess I'm not much help. You could try clearing browser data, I suppose, but I assume you tried that, already.

Well, well, look what the skank dragged in. Nice to see you my friend, been a long time. Been behind the great firewall of China too long where twitterlicious is blocked. Hope you're doing well, and you know I'll be crack flashing these

Oddly it happens on the n10 with 4.3. Prob another bug in 4.3 on the aosp browser.

Anyone else notice they lost super user/root when they flashed?

For google start up you need to flash Gapps.

i have completely wiped, flashed ROM and Gapps.
havent done anything else.
AOSP keyboard FC from the very beginning.
after signing in to google, at the end it FC.
also is missing feature to sync google contacts
I installed the experimental last night. No issues, everything worked normally. 1.2ghz was the max clock speed which was the only real difference I noticed from the Bruce KANG.
I will probably switch to the nightlies once they start coming out... well, nightly. I see no update today.

Yeah i am still skeptical as to whether this is actually a nighly as i have never seen nightly builds of any device running with an 'EXPERIMENTAL' tag. I think it was just one test build to test the water, if all goes well the nightly build bot should be started.
I'm running this with the sultan kernel.
So far so good.

Very good news! Can tell me someone, what works and what works not so good at the moment? Thank you!
hi,
i've installed it today and tested a few things...
phone, data, wlan, gps seems to work...no fc's and so on for now. feels exactly the same as bruce's rom.
only thing i've found yet is, that chrome has graphical glitches like the bruce-rom.
i will keep it and tell you my further experiences...

Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED, Slim ROM, root - box and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it
Instructions:
Download all the needed files (ROM, Gapps)
Boot into recovery
Flash the ROM.zip
Flash Gapps
Boot without flashing a custom kernel (after you've setup everything you can safely install a custom kernel)

Is this file "grouper_domination_20130723.zip" exactly the same at XDA and owain.biz downloads? Can I use it on tilapia? I've flashed my N7 3G with this file yesterday but because of some crashes (i.e. while I was changing some options like brightness, etc. in system settings) I got back to CM 10.1.2. I wasn't sure if I can use this grouper on tilapia or not because there's no tilapia at owain.biz. I was really impressed of CM but I prefer stable roms, that's why I got back to "classic" CM
BTW I was flashing to CM from rooted stock 4.2.2.

First let me say thanks for such rom. Battery life is cool. Using WLAN and UMTS since two days reading mails, and surfing, battery is still on 60%.
The only problem I notice is that my google calendar does not sync. Neither with calendar app, nor with google calendar or another app. Mail is ok, so connection to my google account should be working.

Relax! It's not easy I'm sure. In fact, so far only PA had merged 4.3, and not without issues. I'm using the latest 3.94 from John over at RW on my Note 2 LTE, a few remaining issues like screenshot, screen flicker on some apps and camera (works sometimes), but its nothing that is dead critical that 3rd party apps cannot resolve. We have unofficial PA over here but it's not merged with 4.3 yet, unfortunately.
Whatever we have now for Nexus 7 3G, AOSP builds with a bit of customisations, so I'm eagerly waiting for them. So if OP needs more time, we wait.
It's not necessary to close the thread, just need to update the subject. OP has my support, and I'm looking forward to his build. I had tested his 7.8 beta on 4.22, and that was a good build, and my first time using Slim builds, not too many features, just about right. Cheers!

So simply building a ROM from the sources is now "Original Android Development"?
Like some other 4.4 threads I do not really see "development" here as expected.
Maybe these threads should be moved to the usual development forum?

Might be because its early stage, they are getting the threads setup for development, for example, ParanoidAndroid has a thread with AOSP 4.4 started and getting ready for their version.

So deb seems to be working and all. I didn't flash PA happy because I forgot to read op.. Lol antutu seems to be on the low side. I'm just gonna reflash with the right gapps. Hopefully this fix my browser and syncing. Camera doesn't work sadly. Failed to connect. From my experience that usually has something to do with the binaries.

Listen dude....I am in no way, shape or form like some who are on here. I myself ask questions all the time and hate it when someone gives me a **** response for whatever the reason may be. But he was acting like its an official release and saying how it doesn't fix the touch screen WHICH then went on to say I would really consider an IPad mini. I have the N7 and know about the touch screen issue. There just isn't any need to say I consider the iPad mini based off of a ROM he flashed that isn't even made available for our device yet nor is it even close to an official build. That's why I said what I said. Nothing I said was because of his questions....but thanks for your concern man

These will be my own personal builds with cherry picks here and there if I see something interesting. I'm simply sharing because I want to. I will build and release as I see interesting things merged or that can be cherry picked. If you see something in the gerrit you want cherry picked let me know and i'll see about including it.

Niiiiiiiiiiice.. cant wait to see what this is about. thank you.
Thanks! Been waiting for this.
Sweet! I literally just Odin'd my phone back to stock to do a super clean flash of a ROM and I see this. Guess this is gonna be my first one of many flashes this time around...:good:
*edit*
Running smooth as silk with no hiccups yet. Might have found my daily driver for a while. And that's hard for me to do because I'm a flash addict. I do have a question though, will BMS play nicely with this ROM? If not, what will?

Should be fine as long as BMS has a version for 4.4.2. Try it out and report back.

Decided to go ahead and give it a try, it installs fine, but gives constant reboots. The ROM has ran flawless ALL day up until then, so I'm guessing it was that. I was really hoping it played nice because I love the battery life that it gives. Looks like I'm on the hunt for a stable kernel.

Did you wipe dalvik/cache after flashing? Is the the kernel overclocked? If so try turning the clock down a few steps.

Agreed. You should always wipe dalvik before you flash a different kernel. Any of the KitKat kernels should be fine. I'm on ktoonz but have used dkp and BMS in the past with no issues. Not on this rom but it shouldn't matter.
Sent from my bad ass small block. SGS3 pimped way out thanks to. All the deva and the community. Many thanks to everyone who's made it possible for me to have the coolest phone in my area! For real
Yes, I always wipe before flashing a kernel. It was overclocked, and I did turn it down, I might try again tonight. Might give Ktoonz a try also.

Any way you can give us a quick idea of what things you cherry picked. I don't see anything in the OP about it. Sorry if I missed something, just curious what this has over the official AOKP nightlies?

This one is just straight. No cherry picks. Repo sync early Sunday morning CST. Didn't really see anything interesting to cherry-pick that morning.

Well the AOKP "Nightlies" aren't really nightlies if you look at the dates. Lots of changes since 1-20-14 that was last built.
New Rom uploaded!!!
Don't forget the new Gapps!
As stated previously...no cherry picks in this build either and changes can be found HERE
As of 2-12-14
Bad Upload...Fixing now
