There are two main aspects for determining if a device supports OpenGL ES 3.0 -> the Android OS version, and the Hardware
Sure Android OS 4.3 supports OpenGL ES 3.0, but some custom ROM may not.
So, could you post a screenshot of your Device Info, especially the Android version, custom or not?

It could be because I am ussing leaked 4.3 ROM from HTC, it's not an official release
@AnTuTuLabs
Why did you removed support for ARMv6 CPU's?
Just wanna run benchmark on Android 4.3 on my Galaxy Ace

sorry for the late. some thing stucked me.
1. if HTC One support OpenGL ES 3.0?
this depends one the hardware component configuration. since now, we only find out a few device support OpenGL ES 3.0. HTC One is not listed in. I think I have replied somewhere.
2. Got 0 scores?
This is a bug on some special devices. We have find out test machine and fixed almost.
Please download the latest version, and retry. If it still happen, pls let me know.
3. about the permission
I have asked our R&D team to work on it. please give me some time to get the result.
due to some things, I could not check comments in time. BUT from now on, I will do my best to check your royal comments, and solve your question in time.

In part of 3D benchmark, we added more benchmarking contents which require a higher CPU, so we have to quit support to the ARMv6 CPU.

I am posting here as I am not allowed to do so in development subforum.
Anyway, I am the developer of the OpenFIMG project (formerly GLES6410), which is aiming to provide proper OpenGL support on devices with FIMG 3DSE 3D engine, found in S3C6410, S5PC100 and probably also in S5P6442. The project is in a pretty advanced state as it is already capable of running Android 2.3 with hardware acceleration. Still many OpenGL extensions and some core features (like lighting) are still missing. More info can be found here: https://github.com/tom3q/openfimg/wiki.
It is very likely (and almost confirmed) that the SoC used in Galaxy 3 (S5P6442) contains the same GPU as the one in S3C6410, which is the chip inside Galaxy Spica and similar phones, at least basing on what Quadrant and GLbenchmark show and on GL libraries supposed to be dumped from Galaxy 3.
What I am trying to say is that my project may also be useful on Galaxy 3, but I am the only developer working on it and I am doing it in my free time, so it does not progress as fast as one may expect. In other words, I am looking for some other developers interested in this project.
If you are interested, then do not hesitate to drop me a PM.
Mod EDIT : moving this to development
EDIT: Attached some documents about FIMG 3DSE (based on S3C6410 documentation and my reverse engineering)
EDIT: The project has been successfully used on G3. Builds of ICS for G3 use OpenFIMG as primary graphics driver currently and there are update packages for CM7.
Very interesting .. I send you PM.
Galaxy 3 has no GPU.

Based on what?
All my sources state that it has exactly the same FIMG 3DSE rev. 1.5 as in S3C6410.
Based on the fact that no site says that the I5800 has a GPU and that graphics on games are really laggy.
Unless you are not talking about a discrete GPU.
No mobile phone contains a discrete GPU. All of them are embedded inside some SoC chip, some are better (SGX, Adreno), some are worse (FIMG 3DSE).
It is exactly the same as with Spica and similar phones. Games are laggy because the hardware is not a speed daemon and the performance is even more impacted by really _broken_ drivers.
Then why nobody write that it has GPU like all the other phones like Galaxy S ,Nexus S etc?

Because it is a low end phone, software support for this GPU is very bad and the GPU itself is not a speed daemon.

Okay..so your project involves developing real good drivers so that even the g3 low end gpu can perform better, right?
Sent from the 3rd Galaxy !
Yes. Of course, it will not work on par with Adreno 200 or similar GPUs, but should at least work a bit better. The main target is to run Android 2.3 (and future versions, which will not work will original drivers, because of missing extensions) with full hardware acceleration and without bugs found in Samsung drivers.
Hmmm.. Nice .. Good luck with your project.. One of our devs marcellusbe is working on porting CM7 to G3.. This would surely help him ..

Wow interesting!

Cool. So what can others help with?
Too interesting
I'ld like to help with whatever i can
I'll back you up in spirit, sorry,i know nothing about programming
VERY intresting!
and yes the galaxy 3 does have a gpu and yes it has been confirmed (or atleast i heard) that it has this gpu..cant wait to see the outcome!
Actually, I will need some people who would compile, test and eventually fix the code for Galaxy 3, because the only phone with this GPU I have is a Galaxy Spica (i5700) and there may be some subtle differences between them. (Especially in the kernel part, where kernel modules may require changing of some addresses or some other fragments of code.)
Preferably, I would like someone to help me with the project, but I understand this is not an easy task, so not everyone can apply.
I don't mind being a tester

Nice, thanks.
However, you have to understand that it is not a simple drop-in replacement of standard GL libs. This project replaces the whole graphics subsystem of the phone, including some kernel modules and this makes testing a bit more complicated as it needs pretty big modification of the phone software.
If it is not a problem for you then ok.

It all depends if all the extensions required by these games will get implemented. Also, there may be some problems with screen resolution of Galaxy 3, which is a not standard one. I cannot give any claims regarding the performance as the real performance of this hardware is unknown.
I decided to share this with the community because I haven't seen this mentioned once anywhere.
To sum it up:
The main principle of AndroidBooster is to compile and execute embedded Java code (applications, services) as binary. Java code is executed faster and uses less CPU cycles. This saves battery life while boosting performance. Compatible with all Android platforms, AndroidBooster can increase performance by 10x compared to Dalvik Interpreter or 3x compared to Dalvik JIT.
You need an evaluation license to get your hands on this. More info at www.flexycore.com

--deleted--
any dev know how effective this would be?
I remember reading that most ARM11 and Cortex CPUs supports Java extensions, so there should be a boost.
By the way, look here to see test results for your device.
Edit: Just ran CaffeineMark (from Market) on my device (LG Optimus One P500 with heavily tweaked CyanogenMod 7) and compared it to the test results over FlexyCore.com:
Me: 1888
FlexyCore database entry for Gingerbread: 2726
Both benchmarks were made on 600MHz. I re-ran the test with my device overclocked to 748MHz and the test result was 2436.
So - AndroidBooster does work.

now we just need to know if any dev is willing to implement this into a rom. it would be great to see a significant boost in any rom
None of our developers can implement it as it is a closed source project. They (FlexyCore) offer to modify any ROM we send them, but they do not give out the code itself. They wouldn't earn money otherwise

Hi, mates. I've been searching around Adreno libraries over Jelly Bean. I did notice that our Sensations doens't have same graphics than other phones. The Adreno 220 is very capable to do so, playing games with full graphics. The proof is here-->
This is the US T-Mobile version of the acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S2. What's its hardware? Snapdragon S3 processor at 1.2 and Adreno 220. Why can it move games at highest quality while our phone runs, for example, Most Wanted at low graphics level?
Here I send you a link to SGS2 (SGH-T989 model) xda forum related to new Adreno JB drivers. I hope you devs can help to investigate this.

This drivers are from October, not for August like the first ones: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1828902 Version V3 (the thread is from August but has been updated). Are the same than the others?

That's NOT MY video. I chose a video from Youtube. I pay my games. So, can we focus on the issue?
I've tried it over Elegancia's ROM. Yea, it's very smooth but i'm talkin about smoothness but graphics.
the framerate in that video is unplayable low.
Although it shouldn't really matter, they do use different SoC's than our Sensation (APQ8060 vs MSM8260). But like I said, that shouldn't matter cause I believe they are exactly the same except for the modem/connectivity (APQ8060 doesn't include a modem on the SoC).
But still, that video you posted shows that the Galaxy S2 API8060 can _not_ run the game.. so why should ours?
How can there be new drivers?
I have checked on the Qualcomm site and the latest drivers are still the 1 Aug early sample.

That's the point. As far as I know, TMOUS SGSII's screen resolution is lower than our sensation's. Anyway, at least in Nenamark2 the performance of the two is almost the same. I don't think our phone does that bad. Anyway, the framerate in the video is not really high.

Hi!
I own a ZTE U950 and I updated to the latest FW, but no matter what game I play, it has small stutterings every 3-4 sec. I tried a lot of games, even Dead Space that should run like butter, but even that has stuttering every 3-4 sec. The FPS is on the roof, but for reasons unknown it still noticeably stutter every 3-4 sec.
I tried everything...installing previous rom, closing all background applications, disabling auto-rotate, disabling wifi, changing powersave settings, but nothing worked.
It is really annoying that I can not get rid of this micro stuttering. Game running like butter, but picture stops for micro of a second every 3-4 sec.
What is the problem? Is it just that ICS is trash? A phone with Tegra 3 quadcore should not have stutterings like these...I get ~13200 points in Antutu. The ICS version is 4.0.4.
Oo...I'm considering this phone can give some real shot of the u950 n some screenshot to me..how bout battery life?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Not counting the problem I have, this phone is awesome, well worth the price.
However there is 1 more big problem: no "good" custom roms yet...there are some Chinese custom roms, but they don't really improve performance (I tried at least 6). With a good custom rom and a "gaming kernel" (like the One X has that unlocks the CPU and GPU to it's max potential) this phone would be a must buy.

Got it today ,you must root it and update the rom in order to get rid of some bloatware.secondly there are chinese roms but based on the original so no real tweaking .if a cyanogen was running in this phone was going to be perfect but as i searched on chinese forum most have the basic knoweledge nothing more to build a kernel with mods or aosp .the phone is acceptable for daily usage for its price range.
as for the stutterring on random restart on games consider using the app released for htc one x to minimalise game settings so they can run perfect.i must also remind that the games were not designed for this resolution as most tegra 3 devices have better resolution.

The Exynos 5420 currently runs as a dual quad-core cpu. Either the four A7 cores are active, or when more performance is needed, the A7s turn off and the four A15 cores get enabled. From what I've read, HMP (having all 8 cores enabled simultaneously) will be enabled with a new kernel.

You didn't mention your intention to root or not. IMO it will make a difference. Totally understandnot wanting to at first though. Using a third party launcher and adjusting animation scale in developer options helps too.
Between freezing applications in titanium backup and tweaking things using xposed modules or multi window app tweaks I've done so many tweaks to my device I don't know if I could name them all. Throughout it all the tablet performs admirably. I'm no gamer though.

Not rooting at first due to warranty considerations. I guess no samsung updates since launch? Im just wondering whether they are gonna optimize things for exynos etc and support it properly

Yeah my advice would be to not worry too much about benchmarks. Up until now I haven't run any on this device but I did install linpak and quadrant this morning to check. Both results are inconsistent with the article that was linked earlier in this thread. Linpak was consistently over 400 and got as high as 477 (each time claiming inconsistent results in its report) and quadrant showed a very low score of 11,000 or so.
Unless you game heavily though I'm sure things will work out fine for you.

The note pros expos 5420 actually outperforms the snapdragon 800 in cpu
Power. The four in the snapdragon is a bit faster though. All in all the processors are practical equals in performance. The note pro wifi exynos 5420 is powerful enough to run any app or game you can download at high settings (minus those games specifically optimized for the snapdragon or tegra) I am pretty picky with devices and the note pro wife stock is one of the smoothest devices I have ever used. It certainly outperforms any tablet and only barely falls behind its little brother the note 3 in speed. The note 3 is smoother but I think this is due to the lower pixel count on the screen lowering the go load. The note pro wifi version will run emulators better than the snapdragon as well. Rooting will also do a lot for your performance by removing bloatware.

There is really never a safe way to overclock any type of CPU or GPU the max safe setting IS what it is already set at 9 out of 10 times according to most CPU manufacturers IE Intel and AMD. Therefore, I would logically assume that since they recommend NOT going over the recommended settings, because you technically CAN fry out the CPU if not careful at any setting past the max safe setting the CPU is at stock no matter how little the tweak its possible. Not saying it will happen, but just saying its always a risk there is nothing safe when overclocking.
