I was surprised I didn't find the APK of Instapad anywhere on the internet. So I extracted the APK from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and it worked on my Sony Xperia Tablet Z without any change. It should also work on other tablets with Android 2.2 Froyo or higher.
Description:
With over 15 million users and nearly 200 million photos, we also wanted a great way to view all the amazing Instagram content on our larger tablet screens. That's where Instapad comes in!
Browse popular photos, search for users, follow others, favorite and comment on photos. Instapad also let's you see all your feeds, so you can keep up with what followers are doing. Instapad brings beautiful Instagram photos to life on your Samsung tablet to enjoy and share in a way that can't be matched on a smaller screen.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, the Instagram API does not currently support photo uploads. If/when it does, we'll add upload functionality to the app.

I'm sure these have been asked multiple times but as a devoted 6.5 user who dabbles in android for gaming I am wondering, what are the benefits of WP7 over 6.5? I know its more locked down and blah blah but I didnt ask for the negatives. I don't expect a phone to be perfect in its first rendition, the original android was lame. I am absolutely in love with the UI so I want to know what kind of cool features it has (other than xbox live of course.)
Also I'm currently heavily theming my phone. If anyone has an image of the little arrow in the circle on the WP home page I'd much appreciate if I could get my hands on it. Thanks again guys.
Just want to know if I should get the venue pro or just grab whatever android phone is top o' the line that week.
The greatest benefit, in my opinion, is the consistency in handling and design.
Even the apps are fitting perfectly because of the design guidelines that MS is giving.
WP7 is all about gorgeous design, fluid animations, exact feedback and easy usage.
I mean, I used WM5 up to WM6.5.3 and it was great but WP7 is awesome -it saves me a lot of time of customising, flashing and bugfixing, so I may concentrate on the important things in life and still don't have the feeling to miss anything.
WP7 is the latest operating system that in my opinion can now take on Android and iOS.
It may be locked down but it does have some really good apps for example Netflix. There will be a big update which will add quite a few features and the UI is smooth and looks amazing.
I enjoy:
People hub - great idea. I synced Facebook, LinkedIn and several other sites on Windows Live and boom, it shows up in my people hub. People hub automatically integrates with all smart links to call/email/sms people and post on their facebook/windowslive or linkedin accounts as well as showing their profile pic when they call.
Zune. Hands down pure win. Some minor bugs with crashes in marketplace right now but other than that the best music experience on the go ever. zunepass ftw
xbox live - great interface, great experience and great games. prices are affordable and games seem to be well designed & thought out and perform great!
Netflix = pure win
apps - Growing app market.. of course in the 1.x days so apps are fluid and missing some features but some have pulled off the UI nicely such as IMDB and others. Foursquare needs a little more functionality but has the basics
office 2010 - it just works.. creating documents is sort of "meh" but being able to see working documents and update them is nice
What i hope gets fixed / feature req:
RIght now "share" context menus aren't consistent - some will let me SMS something, others focus on email. Wouldn't mine "Sharing" the album i'm listening to on twitter or facebook at times so on and so forth.
zune stream to xbox like zune hd does - would be nice
ebook/audio book store in zune
more tightly integrated services in the cloud - filtering, lists, ability to sync skydrive with local content more easily - bookmarks, favorites, docs. "sharepoint light" built into windows live maybe?
I dont really think anything will "bring down" android so to speak but iphones on its way out and its about time that theres a new leader of phones of that nature (locked OS.) I will likely be getting wp7 but yeah umm, does anyone have access to that image? I've been hunting for quite some time now.

You can already do this, you just need XBox Live Gold. There is a trial, try it and see. It works.

I wish they wouldn't. Just use Amazon. There's tons of books in the Android Market that do nothing but clutter up search results (search for Microsoft, for example).
Leave books to people who deal with books and deal with Apps and Games, IMO.

There is Windows Live SkyDrive. They just need an App to allow you to browse you SkyDrive folders without using a browser, IMO.
Syncing Skydrive with local content is sketchy. Carriers may not like that at all due to data usage, and some users can go over their data limit if they aren't paying strict attention to that.

There is no reason they couldn't embrace B&N, Borders or Amazon as an ebook marketplace. They could extend it from zune to bing to the desktop.

They should have "wifi" only features - such as sync/mesh support. They already have automagic skydrive upload for images - i wish they would allow that to queue up for when wifi is enabled to save bandwidth
Is that true Zune is RESIZING pictures when synced from PC to the phone?
So if I have like 8mpx photo it gets resized to a smaller size??!

might depend on the size of the photo. Downloaded a pic off of photobucket, it synced to my computer and wasn't compressed or resized at all.

You mean downloaded from the internet?
I was just asking about Zune sync. I mean let's say I have a big photo
I want to put it on my phone through Zune, I've heard it will be resized if it's big.

Hey guys,
Hope this is the right place to post this. If not, please move it to the right section. Thx.
Just wanted to draw your attention on a small website for easy Photosphere viewing I created a few days ago:
PhotosphereViewer.net
What is PhotosphereViewer.net?
We provide a service to view one of Android's latest and most exciting features: Photospheres. Photospheres are 360° panoramic photographs which can be viewed interactively on your mobile phone, tablet, Google Plus and Google Maps, whereas the two last-mentioned ways of viewing Photospheres are only available if you upload your photos onto Google's servers.
Personally, I don't like to share everything with Google, especially in times of PRISM. That's one of several reasons why I built this website:
I wanted to be able to view Photospheres regardless of Google's services.
To view them anywhere at any time.
Even without an Android device.
To view other people's Photospheres without copying them on a mobile device.
And to give users running older Android versions the chance to view Photospheres as well.
How does it work?
This website is based on the amazing work of Joe "kennydude" Simpson, who developed a way to display Android Photospheres in your browser with ease. PhotosphereViewer.net is wrapped around his efforts, making it easy for everyone to enjoy fascinating Photospheres within a few seconds. All my thanks go to him, I just made it look a bit nicer and made it available for everyone within a few seconds.
Will my Photospheres be stored on your server?
No! We do not save any of your data. No files, no EXIF data, no porn bookmarks. The Photosphere images are loaded locally in your browser's cache, that's it.
Is this a free service?
Yes, enjoy it and spread the word!
How does it work?
Simply watch this video:
That's it, hope you'll ilke it.
Step by, visit: http://photosphereviewer.net/

Hey guys,

Also, some minor design changes and a new tutorial.
If you like it, please give it a +1. Thanks.
:good: I like this very much.
Thanks! Glad to hear that.
More and more apps are created to help make your life a little bit easier. It is so difficult for us to figure out which one can actually use,and which one don’t need to bother with. Here are some of my collections, and I recommend these apps for all Android users.

Hello
I am very excited to introduce our new AI-powered product erase.bg
Erase.bg is FREE to use for resolutions up to 5,000 x 5,000 px
With Erase.bg anyone can quickly remove backgrounds from any image in seconds and download it in the original resolution for FREE. Yes, it’s that easy! Online businesses selling physical products require thousands of design assets on a daily basis (posters, content posts, product images, etc.). A lot of manual effort goes into making the background transparent for this. Thus, our team at Fynd decided to build an AI tool that could make this process faster, and Erase.bg was born.
We were initially building this purely for our e-commerce partners but we realized that this tool can help a much larger audience. So we put on our ML hats and decided to disrupt the space by creating a tool that can work on a vast number of objects and provide it for FREE to users online. We support high image input resolutions size so that maximum people can benefit from this product.
By launching this on XDA Forums, we hope to put it in front of the maximum number of people who can benefit from it - ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE! Just upload and get instant cut-outs in a few seconds. Check it out today: https://www.erase.bg/
Happy erasing!
Download:
Get it on Google Play
Get on the App Store
Thanks for your support! Hope you enjoy using our tool! Please, let us know your feedback in this thread directly
Also, you can send any suggestions to our support email: [email protected]
