Qobile Noir A500 Wrongly Rooted and Wong CWM Recovery flashed. - General Questions and Answers

I recently bought a Qmobile A500 Noir, but wanted to flash it with a Custom ROM. Not paying much attention to the model of my cell phone I by mistake rooted it with Noir A900 procedure as defined in one of the posts, instead of A500 and also tried flashing CWM recovery. Identifying that I have used the wrong procedure of a different model, I instantly searched for A500 and got the procedure in of the the posts. Now the issue is that when I try to go in Recovery Mode, my cell phone screen goes complete White, and after a min it auto restarts and boots normally. I am hating the fact that I cant go back in the Recovery Mode, nor in Stock Recovery because I suppose I have replaced it with a CWM Recovery of a wrong version . I want to reset and get back to Stock Recovery so that I can reset my phone and bring it back to its original state as I have found that there is no CWM Recovery or a Custom ROM present for A500 Noir currently. If anybody could please help me in this regard as I am clueless.

As posted by by one the member, whom i am highly obliged and grateful to, the Stock Recovery.img and Boot.img have been exteacted and posted in one of the post. Now how to Flash them using SP Flash tools is what I need the guidelines for. I do have the Scatter Recovery file, but I guess VCOM driver files, and Info files for Stock recovery are not present. If anyone who could please shed some light on it, would save me from trashing my phone. Providing the link for Stock Recovery and Boot files. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44351797

dude remember i told you about my wifi not working after creating the backup of my a500, I decided to flash the stock boot.img with recovery.img also using the flash tool, and now its working fine.
The purpose of mine mentioning this is that those files really worked for me.
In my opinion your problem should be easily solved by flashing the stock recovery.img bcoz u messed with this only by flashing anothers mobile recovery. :victory:
I just wish i can upload the whole backup of my A500 for you so you can get back ROM in working condition but I can't bcoz I have a slow internet speed. :crying:

Great.. Good to know atleast someone is back in action. Would be great if you could guide me on Flashing the Boot and Stock Recovery. i checked my device status. My Boot Loader is UNKNOWN and Radio has no path.. probabaly that is the reason my Sim cards are not being detected and due to Boot i cant get in my recovery mode.

Since i got the backup so i finally decided to mess up with the recovery. Just flashed Noir A20 Recovery on A500 using mobile uncle tool and BANG it doesn't work. All what I am getting is white screen while entering the recovery mode. I tried reverting back to stock recovery.img using Mobile Uncle tools but no vain. Just going to try it twice than will flash it using SP flash tool if it fails! Stay tuned! :highfive:

Dude Finally I flashed the stock recovery.img using the sp flash tool. it has become as your. I lost my stock recovery also and Unable to get back, i flashed it usning the Mobile Uncle tools but no vain.... :crying: :crying: :crying:
But still able to boot up normally and both sim working properly!
I think we had to work on our stock recovery.img or we are flashing it in wrong manner. Or there may be a chance I extracted it in wrong way. Searching the XDA Forum for possible answers and waiting for a more senior member to help us in this case!

Malik Sb, I am sorry to hear about you loosing the Stock Recovery. I also took the backup, just in case... but now I am stuck at exactly the same condition where you are. Additionally i tried flashing G520 Huwawaii recovery.img, which took away my Sim card Detection too. Now the screen has gone blank. After alot of research and deleting files from the device Internal memory and SD card, I downloaded an app called Discovery something, its a turkish app. It downloaded the Original Recovery for me, I then flashed it using MobileUncle and now i am back to the White Recovery screen, which automatically restarts and boots my phone, but I still done have any luck with my Sim cards. going to Qmobile Service Centre to try luck.

Beware your warranty will be void! last time i mistakenly flashed the Wrong stock ROM on my Noir A5 using the SP flash tool due to which i bricked my device and I was having no option rather than going to service center where they scoldED me and said " WHO HAS GIVEN YOU THE PERMISSION TO MESS UP WITH THE STOCK FIRMWARE OF QMOBILE???" And i replied "DUDE PLZ FIX IT I WON'T DO IT AGAIN"
and they fix it for free but put a huge stamp on my digicom warranty card written WARRANTY VOID :crying:

Havent used such kinda app. The only best thing to create the nandroid backup is by using a CWM/TWRP recovery bcoz it is easy to restore also and helps you unbricked your device if you are soft bricked! :fingers-crossed:

Unfortunately there is no full backup of our Qmobile Noir A500 through MTK Droid Tool. But xda user hamsam has uploaded his nandroid backup which would of great use for you.
1) Download this nandroid backup by hamsam, from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2444089
2) Place the downloaded files in SD card. {Note: Place them in correct folder otherwise CWM wont detect it}
3) Get CWM recovery for A500 and flash it through SP flash tool.
3) Boot into recovery and restore the backup you dowloaded.
4) Reboot. :victory:
Now if you want you can backup your ROM through MTK Droid Tools for the safe side or always kept the nandroid backup in your SDcard and PC aswell.

unbricked but lost imei+network both sim

Consider the following options:
1) Try to flash stock boot.img through SP flash tool.
2) If still problem remains then try to write original IMEI using MTK Droid Tool
I never used these method but i think it should work for you.

From where else i can get other files of a500 like ebr1, uboot, preloader etc

You mean to say thay your device boots and only logo is shown??
You take boot.img from your CWM backup and flash it using some tools which are available for your device, maybe ODIN or SP tool (if your device is mediatek).
Elce you can try flashing some CUSTOM Kernels available for you..

Not Working!
According to you I tried to unbrick my phone, but it didnt worked.
After 1st step I unable to boot in cwm. after flashing recovery into boot partition from the fastboot mode itself i tried to power on the phone so that it can boot into cwm but it didnt reacted. den i tried after removing battery, then also its not working.
My mobile is not getting started, when i try to switch it on it just continuously vibrates no display on screen nothing just vibration.
I am able it launch only fastboot. I don't know what to do, nothing is working on it. I tried to flash it by upgradedownload tool but that is also not working.
I extracted the .pac file I got these files.
boot.img
fdl1.bin
fdl2.bin
HVGA_logo_256.bmp
nvitem.bin
recovery.img
SC6820_DSP.bin
SC8800G_sc6820_modem_vlx.bin
SC8810.xml
system.img
u-boot-256M.bin
u-boot-spl-16k.bin
userdata.img
vmjaluna.imagenkcbsp-sc8810_nodebug
It will be good if i can place all these files in my phone by fastboot mode.
In fastboot mode I am getting only few partition viz.
boot , recovery, system, userdata
what about other MISC files with format .bin,.bmp? where should i place these files and how?
Please help me on this ... I struggling since 2 months.

Problems in newly installed rom in micromax a35
I successfully flashed the stock rom in my bricked micromax a35 using the spreadtrum research download tool.
But there are a few problems I m getting. Please help.
1. Bluetooth is able to pair with other devices, but when I try to send or receive files using bluetooth, it doesn't accept.
2. IMEI number is changed for both sims. Will this create any problem?
3. When I try to call or somebody calls me, the dialer crashes and both sims shows no network.
4. Internet is not working.
Plz friends if there is any solution to this problem.
I had downloaded the stock rom files from xdadevelopers.

U can revert back to normal rom from any possible bad situations like soft brick or hard brick.
Also u can enjoy ur stock rom.
U will need sp flash tools and flash files."

[STABLE][CWM][RECOVERY]Alcatel_OneTouch_Flash_6042D_BY_PIJUSH_SEN

Installing Clockworkmod Recovery on your Alcatel Onetouch Flash 6042D means that you will be able to flash new custom ROMs on it. Without custom recovery you cannot flash new ROMs. Also, it should be installed on rooted devices. Clockworkmod Recovery can also be used to backup your entire ROM.
WARNING: Installing a recovery may brick your phone...Don't Blame Me.. Do at your Own Risk...
Note:- Alcatel OneTouch Flash Recovery Uses a secured boot.img,so a custom recovery will cause boot loop..Please Download and Flash The unsecured boot.img from below link. And flash it with recovery..
You need:
1. A Windows PC
2. CWM recovery (Download)
3. Unsecured Boot.img (Download)
4. SP Flash tools (Download)
5. Driver (Download)
6. Scatter file (Download)
7.Alcatel Onetouch Flash 6042D
Follow these steps to flash custom recovery using sp flash tools:
Step 1: Extract/unzip all downloaded files.
Step 2: Open SP flash tool and load scatter file.
Step 3: Unselect all blocks and select only RECOVERY and BOOT.
Step 4: Click the location column of RECOVERY and BOOT and select downloaded
recovery and boot.
Step 5: Press and Volume Down + Power to Enter in CWM Recovery Mode.
If you face any problem contact me at facebook.....:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

connecting in sp flash & mtk droid tools.
hai there
I have a peculiar problem here. I am not a programmer or some thing like that. But an avid fan of android.
I am not able to get my rooted 6042d detected in SP FT & MTK droid tools to take a back up. My system is Win.XP [SP3]. I even formatted the system twice to remove left overs. Even, I am clue less how to get it done. I installed the drivers provided by you. I think my ignorance of windows is the main hurdle here. Can you please guide me - how to? Sorry for the bother.
I wish to flash the secure CWM made by you and the LP style rom followed by it.
1. spft says 'the application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect....reinstall..'
2.mtk droid tools says 'the device is not revealed.. connect or reconnect...' - on the right side -' in system already available android debug bridge 1.0.26'
thanks
PS: I know how to use both the tools, I did it with my previous device, also of MTK-zte.
Solution of your problem....

(philz recovery can be found here...)
and got to this link

I think u must flash it.. because its the problem of your phone...
and if u face any problem contact me or for instant help just take the help of Google BABA!!!...
thanks for the swift reply.
SPFT problem solved as you suggested. But the problem with DT persists.
I do not have the stock rom of onetouch flash 6042d. [ my device is wrongly showing idol3!]
I want to have a SPFT back up in Droid Tools to be on safe side with imie etc. [being able to run Droid tools.]
I highly appreciate what ever the hints/advice I need in this regard, if extended.
When your LP themed rom for our device will be out?
