Need help with my app - Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500

Ok, i have modified my flies.apk using winrar and when i pasted in system/app it was not fine. There were two my files . It should have asked to overwrite...
Then i deleted the old one and copied the new one. Then i rebooted it
Nothing was there. My new modified my files was not there. It was in system/app but not shown in app drawer(it was not hidden). I restored my old one (Thanks to titanium backup) but now it is not shown in system/app.
Well i want to know is there a problem in modified apk?
I have also signed it
I have used this method
Opened my files with winrar
Changed things
Closed winrar
Signed it
Is this correct?

I didn't mean mounting /system R/W
I mean your modded apk file permission, use an app like Xplore or Root Explorer to give it 644 permission in order to see it in the app drawer.
Or just install it as user app and use Titanium Backup to convert it to system app.

But how do i do with titanium backup as its not installed
In titanium backup old my files is shown not new one

Where are APK stored

Just wondering where APK were stored after downloading from market
system/app
Whoops, they're stored in the download folder
sdcard/download
Actually its in data/ app.

Why do I show a bunch of apps in the download folder too?
My bad. Those are ones that I copied there.
What a dummy, I've ben up for 17hrs.
Lol. That's how I get to bro with no sleep. Usually with htc phones anything you download goes to your download folder...except if you download from your HTC mail it will be in downloads folder. If you download from your xda app a file attached to a post it will be in a tapatalk folder. This is your card Im taking about. Any app installed to your phone from the market will be in data/ app
System apps can be installed by flashing or adb push

apk file
I wanted to increase the battery life on my wife's rooted Infuse to increase battery life. I read that faux123's Kernel and script are supposed to be the best and compatible with ALL Samsung Rooted Stock and Custom ROMs
For reference I'm including the links:
Faux's Kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437563
FauxClock app by roman:
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/4550-app09-beta-snapdragon-dual-core-oc-control/page__st__30
My question is where do I put the apk file (FauxClock-0.9.apk):
1. Internal sdcard (sdcard/download)
2. /data/app
3. system/app
Does it even matter where I put that apk file? Thanks for the help.

What permissions? The read write permissions or the AndroidManifest permissions?
U can't change the manifest permissions, and judging by your knowledge, u don't wanna change read write permissions either

For moving apps to System/Apps, you need to be rooted!
If you are, use Root Explorer to copy app from your sdcard and paste them in System/Apps and then change their permission to rw-r--r--

Install Root Explorer. Open it and go in system/app. Right click on Browser.apk and in drop-down menu select Permissions, check rw,r,r, O.K.
and reboot phone. Mount need be R/O, and not R/W.
I tried everything but still won't work!
I allways have this message: Unfortunately, Browser has stoped.

While deodexing the apk and odex file will be one file so it is not needed to delete those than you can better deodex with one of my zip files

Just social medias, root explorer, folder mount, game editor/hackers, and some racing games. I read what @safariking linked, they are talking about Lucky Patcher and removing odex files that way. That's what I did (but odex insted of deodex) before I had this problem.. that's how it started
