Found it on eBay.

I need to see pics of it with the kickstand extended so I can see how it works in both horizontal and vertical modes. Can someone help me out?
Seller is like "huh".
EDIT: nevermind, I found better pics on this link. Looks like a pretty crap quality case. I'm gonna put it on my "heck no" list.

i noticed the second doesn't have speaker holes so not sure what it would be like and i was wondering has any1 tried it and how they thought how good or bad these case where? thanks in advance
not yet, but yes they do look really good.
we have sooo many choices for silicon style cases, that is a good thing
I have this one:
iTALKonline ProGel BLACK Super Hydro Gel Protective Armour
(look in amazon.co.uk, it seems I still can't post outside links)
I like it but the side buttons are a really hard to press. Almost impossible to adjust the volume with one hand while on the phone.
Now the first one you posted looks really nice. It seems to cover the side buttons as well but I like it.

This one is great, I have a transparent one.
i've seen those on ebay, we have a link of that on the Case topic
Just don't buy these cheap case. Side buttons are not usable, it's just waste of money. It's better to add a 10£ extra and get a quality one.

So I was looking for a case the G2 and came across this thing....
Seems pretty legit.... like (phantom Skins). MY only conern is that it actually COVERS the soft buttons on the screen... hmm If anyone decides to pull the trigger on this, let us know... thanks

Looks nice, don't think it will work so well.
meh... I kind of like the grey and aluminum look. That was one of the selling points for me. That makes it look like one of the snow soldiers from Rainbow Six or something.
Anyone try this out? I've been looking for a white cover, anyone find something similar to this, that works?
I just ordered an orange one for my wife's G2 from that seller. The guy that whited out his vibrant on the vibrant forum used this seller as well. It turned out pretty decent. I'll report back once it is installed.

thanks! give us your take along with pictures please!
Overall Rating: 5/10
Ordered Friday, arrived Monday
Menu/Home buttons work fine, no changes noticed
Skin doesn't really 'protect' phone, corners are exposed
Skin material feels decent and probably long-lasting
The free wallpaper skin was pretty cool.
Summary: I'll keep it for a while, but probably look for a gel-case that just keeps the keyboard closed unless it is removed. If anyone knows of a case that will work like this, help a brother out and point me there!
Pics Attached. Sorry it's a little blurry, MT3G camera = blow.
I had one of these for my iPad so I tried it on my TouchPad and was surprised at how well it fit!
Power and volume buttons, headphone jack, speakers, charge port, and the camera are spot on! It also has the elastic strap to keep the case closed, a feature missing on many other book cases including the HP one
Did some searching and found an awesome $9.99 price, with fast $.99 shipping.
Order took about 1 week to show up at my house in full retail package.

Coupon code RMN10n for 10% off covered the shipping cost.

Will put up some pictures when I get a chance if anyone would like
Yes please!
I assume this case doesn't allow for the touchpad to lay in "typing mode" with a small angle, or even stand up at all for that matter?

I will try to throw up some pictures tonight for you
You are correct that the typing mode angle is very low, but it does stand up just fine.
Nice.
Can you post a video on youtube of it? Or photos. How do you like it so far?
Pictures? Let us know!
The TouchPad fits really well in this case. It's made of leather on the outside and felt-like material on the inside..I think. It is a pretty snug fit, and the cutouts seem fine (at least to me anyway). I don't think anything significant is covered....the only thing that is inaccessible with this case is the microSD slot...I think all the speakers are exposed. I really like how the front flap is secured by the elastic band. Also, the stand seems pretty stable to me.
I also believe they sell a white and blue version of this case. It's like $10 on eBay as well....so it's cheap
I wish it was thinner, but I'm happy with this case. I have attached a bunch of pictures. Hope this helps!!!
Could anyone snap a pic of how thick the back piece is?
All of the pictures given online are obviously for marketing and dont show it from a side angle and dont give me any chance to see how thick it is xD
thanks!
I know there are crappy widescreen/landscape mode Kickstand cases out there.
Has anyone found a nice portrait mode kickstand case yet that is slim fitting?
Or am I gonna have to DIY my own kickstand case yet again.
you could try the stick-on kickstand rings instead of going DIY

Thanks, I already have one and posted a thread about it in this forum. Kickstand4U. :good:
Wanting a case though. ugh.
EDIT: Oh, I see that someone already posted about this, my brain ignored a of post or two at the bottom since it saw multiple colors and assumed it was an ad
Try one of those "finger ring" / "sticky mount" thingys from ebay. they are a buck or two. But they serve as a kickstand as well. Portrait mode can be accomplished by swiveling the ring around. I actually bought these to help me not drop my phone. But it makes a great kickstand in landscape mode and a decent kickstand in portrait mode.
My only complaint is they are solid metal and can hurt if you use them as a phone holder for a while, if your phone is heavy, which the pixel is....
