Today I get Galaxy Tab 8.9 Book Cover. Very nice and solid material (high quality plastic). Looks good and expensive. Little heavy... In it tab is stable and does not fall out.
More pictures....
...I don't see volume button cut-outs.
Dont have..... Must be open to get volume controls.
I have the same case, it's really good quality (but rather expensive too). Mine does have the volume buttons cut-out though, odd.
I also have the same case (dark version) and I don't have cut outs for volume OR power
Whoops I was mistaken, I don't have access to the volume rocker when the case is closed. Never had to use them that way anyway so it's not an issue to me.
I was going to start a thread reviewing this case but someone beat me to it! The photos do a good job, so I won't post my own unless someone wants them. I'll give a review of it though in this thread.
The quality of this case is top notch. The back of the case, where the galaxy tab 8.9 clips in is a thicker type plastic which offers rigid protection. The flap which covers the screen is a thinner material which I can't place. An extension of the front cover creates a flap, that when closed, uses a magnet to snap in place. The clips which the tablet snaps into come right around the edge to be flush with the plane of the screen. There is a cut out for the power button and headphones, but none for the volume rocker. The left and right edges of the tablet in landscape mode are slightly exposed. The case doesn't add a lot of bulk or weight, offering the minimum material necessary for protection. Maybe not noticed in the photos are two features which help this case out. One is the rubber grips on the bottom to help the case stand the tablet up. The other is a thin strip cutout on the back which allows the end of the flap to support the tablet at about 15 degrees, which makes for the perfect angle for viewing and typing while laying on a desk.
The only problem I can find with the tablet is that when the case is open, the rear facing camera is blocked by the flap. I noticed this complaint in a few reviews on the GT10.1 case and the solution is to rotate the tablet 180 degrees where the cover is dangling down and the camera is at the bottom of the tablet. Problem solved.
My overall impression of the tablet is great. I'm very happy with the case. It's a little pricey, but sometimes you have to pay for quality. The ivory color is sharp; a good change from the sea of black cases out there. All in all I would buy it again. In fact I might be doing just that if my wife wants to trade in her 10.1 GT for the 8.9 because she's jealous of my tablet AND case.
EDIT: To add some high quality photos, since I had them.
Just received my case (in black) and loving. I am trying to work out a way to toggle the screen on and off when the case is opened, perhaps using Tasker and the light sensor. However, the Power On option isn't available in Tasker. Anyone have an idea how to make this work?

Is it the official samsung case ? it looks like the official one on the 10.1.
If so, can you give me its reference number
Official samsung case, yes
EFC-1C9NIECSTD for white version
That looks really nice. It would be perfect for my wife, if she gets an 8.9 Tab.
I have the black version and love it to death. I thought the price was too high before buying it.
I was hoping for somewhere around the $50 range. But, oh well, it was very well thought out and the quality is excellent.
At the end of the day I'm super happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is an official Samsung case and it`s very comfortable & solid thing.
I think - must have)))
I found a seller on ebay that sells it for just $40

Nice looking case!
I can't really tell from the pictures, but I'm pretty sure there is no access to the dock connector when the tablet is in a stand position, right?
So having a USB flash drive connected for the purpose of watching movies is out of the question, right?
Edit: nevermind.. dumb question I think I'm gonna go with the keyboard dock or something..
just got mine in black. I rock all my cell phones "naked" so I dont have much experience in casing, but I couldnt be happier. quality stuff.
Nice, but when you close cover, you can hear music because it cover two speaker too
I just ordered this ultra slim cover for my tf700 its slim and light, and not bulky it also has a stand for movie watching and for typing as well, i like how it covers the back and has all holes for the ports and speaker its a non branded cover that was shipped from hong kong took 2 weeks to get here, below i will post a link to the website I ordered and some pictures of the cover. price $15
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-Transf...es_Covers_Keyboard_Folios&hash=item35c43bb49b
looked really closely at that one, but went with the TPU Hard Gel instead. Post a review once you have used it a while and let us know what yoiu think of it.
Looks really good, thinking of a purchase. How's it lasted so far?
cover - check
slim - check
ultra - so so
smart - not even close
Ive had it for a couple days now and i like it, I like how now i don't have to worry about placing my tablet down on its back to avid scratches on the aluminum back, another thing i like is that it has a stand to watch netflix or anything else while im at the table, that was the only reason I used the keyboard dock now i wont have to attach and detach the keyboard dock all the time, another thing i like is that its slim and dose not make the tablet look bulky like some leather ones i see on ebay, I was also looking at the hard tpu case but chose this cover because of the stand.
Couple of questions:
How stable is it when it's set up in the movie-watching position?
How much protection/padding is does it offer (if any)? It looks very much like a clone of the Apple smart cover, so I'm guessing not a whole lot.
The anal retentive in me dislikes that fact that the Asus logo is upside down when it's in the typing position, but whatever!
I guess it's a toss up for me between this one (cheap, cheerful, slim, long shipping time) and this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008OHFT5W/ref=gno_cart_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1GC47N5J8F7IJ
(more expensive, not so slim (but better protection), two-day shipping).

its really stable i can type in the movie watching position without tipping over, that i did notice that when i type laying down the asus logo is up side down, but that's not a problem for me, i also looked at the case you have on the link, it looks nice its not that bulky and also works as a stand, only thing i didn't like was the mat sticks out in front of you when watching a movie, and that it dose not cover all around the edge just the corners, other then that seems like a good cover, and padding looks a lil thicker on both sides front and back. over all im happy with the slim cover it dose what i need, the long wait for it to arrive is what i hated,
Thanks for the feedback. I've gone ahead and ordered the Acase one, as I'll need something pronto and the tablet is due to arrive today. I may pick up one like yours later on...we'll see.
It looks pretty!
I'd be afraid to break wind near that with it standing, might blow over.
For anyone looking for a high quality stable folio case, I highly recommend the Targus Truss case! I bought mine at my local Best Buy for my Asus Prime for $40. It fits the Infinity perfect, as both tablets are nearly identical. The only thing is the volume rockers are trickier to get to, but it's not an issue at all, just throwing only way you can tell it isn't made specifically for the Infinity

little rant...
What really annoys me about this and many cases is the lack of thought around the camera on the back. They leave a slot for it on the back peice of the case which is great, but when you open it up to actually take a photo, you need to hold the case like an open book as there isnt a slot on the front peice. I dont intend on using the camera much but having to hold the front flap out of the way of the lens while trying to get composition, focus and release the shutter is a pain in the bum! If I could flip the front all the way round to the back and hold it flush with the back, that would be far more convenient.

+1!
What also bothers me a little is the slit in the front flap of the case... for US owners, it looks like a mistake since we don't have that speaker there. Other than that, very happy with the quality, low profile and details - rubber footings for landscape upright position, magnet to hold front flap as prop in "keyboard" mode. A little expensive but I did the round about with case buying with the tab 10.1 and ultimately liked the official book case most.
Cases are available at BestBuy and B&H.
Picked one up at Best Buy last night. Absolutely prefer this over the Moko i just got. Only thing missing compared to other cases is a loop for a larger stylus and it's not heavy enough where it needs a handstrap.
I don't care about a camera hole on the front flap (to take pictures when the flap is folded over) as rear camera on this is more vestigial to my tablet use.
I do have issues with trying to stand it up the tall way with the cover - it sometimes wont hold the stand form and flips the tablet down.
This may get easier as it breaks in. There is no clasp magnetic or otherwise that holds the screen cover closed so it will fly open at times.
The tablet is protected on 3 corners (except the one that holds the stylus, obviously), completely covers the plastic back except for camera hole and front flap is thin but should protect the screen well enough in a bag. I like the clean design and it does raise the "premium" feel of the tablet in hand by covering up all the plastic.
I think if you care about adding the least bulk to the unit while still having a means of protecting it a bit, I think it does well.
BTW, if you had the 7.7 and the OEM cover for that, this cover is almost exactly like it - except this front flap is even thinner than the one on that one and can fold to help it stand. The 7.7 form fitting case that Samsung made could only stand by reversing the case flap and it would always fall over.
I bought it from Best Buy as well, it's not my first choice of cases, but it's probably the best out there now. Just too expensive, but I need protection for this unit. I'm hoping Seidio makes a case but I don't think this tablet will sell that well. I hope I'm wrong but it's fairly expensive. I think it is worth it but I have terrible judgment and love electronics.

Just curious, what colors are people getting? I picked up a white one at BB, but thinking about exchanging it for the black...
Every portable device I've owned since my first Walkman, with the exception of my 3rd gen iPod in 2004, has been black, so the white device and matching white case is a welcome change for me.

I couldn't take it anymore and exchanged for the black, lol. The all-white look was burning my eyes.
Picked this up today and it's going back. I do like how thin it is, but I notice the cover has a habit of bowing just enough to wake up the tablet and it's just close enough that it keeps waking it up. Case would be fine without the sleep/wake feature. Anyone know of a good knockoff without the magnet?

You might like the STM Cape. It is a bit different, but appears to be very good quality, and it is less expensive and fairly light weight (judging by specs as I don't have one yet):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251888
I asked them and they confirmed it does not come with a magnet for wake/sleep. Personally that has disappointed me, but you provide a good example of where it can be a good thing to not have wake/sleep.
I've asked STM a few more questions that I'm waiting to hear back on, including what kind of padding is embedded in the front cover. Something that has concerned me about the official Samsung Book Cover is that the front cover seems so thin that I wonder how much protection it would really provide (particularly from any impact). The STM Cape appears to have some kind of stiff material (padding?) in between the outer layer and the soft inner lining. I'll post in the Cape thread whenever I hear back about that.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't mind thin. I never do anything that would damage a device like a phone or tablet anyway. Mostly I just want it for scratch protection since it could slide around in my briefcase and what-not.

If you haven't already ordered I'd recommend having a look at the following thread that was a bit negative about the KLD:

The MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight Smart-shell Stand Case mentioned in that same thread sounds more promising (in my opinion).

According to the description it supports "auto sleep and wake up when close and open" but I am not sure if I believe it. I can always open a dispute if it is not true

I have not, but that is an intriguing product. I wonder if you might get a sense of the quality by looking at the reviews for the below version which I would guess uses the same keyboard (but with a different enclosure)?

I read some reviews on the Note 10.1 version and they are mixed:
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Blue...dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
I'll just keep it in consideration, unless someone on the forums actually purchases and tries it out.
I received the KLD case off ebay not too long ago. The case came about a week after I placed an order (this includes weekend days). So first things first, the case is well made. I remember someone had expressed that the back stitching may be of concern but I looked at it and it looks like it will hold up just fine with moderate use.
I mentioned in my other review thread that this case is a major disappointment. The reason being is because I bought the case thinking it would have the auto wake/sleep feature. This case does NOT support this feature. Because of the lack of magnets in this case, it leads to a second major disappointment. The cover even when closed will flap around if you were to have it in your bag.
Because it is PU leather, it does smell VERY plastic like.
Finally, I chose to have the white option, if you take a look at the link, you will see that its a very pure white color. However, the cover I received is beige NOT white at all.
In conclusion, do I like this case? No, not at all. I can't recommend it to anyone. This is a cheaper alternative to the Samsung Book Cover (though I don't know if the official book cover supports the wake/sleep feature).
Pros
-Slim
-Nice cut outs (look at pics below)
-Not too expensive- I paid only $16.50 (free shipping)
Cons
-Does NOT have wake/sleep feature
-Cover does NOT stay in place because of the lack of magnets
-Bad smell even after leaving it in the open for 3 days
-The case I bought is WHITE, this case is clearly BEIGE
I give the case a 4/10. The quality is great but the lack of features that many other cases have for a cheaper price hampers it's overall rating.
Finally my search for a perfect slim case isn't over- I bought yet another case from Moko- that looks great. I'll post up yet another review when it's out. Check it out here! :

That does look really promising! It clearly has a magnetic closure and uses magnets to hold the stand in place. And I like the broad assortment of colors.
A few other observations (about the MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight Smart-shell Stand Case), just from looking at the pics, etc. on Amazon:
It appears that the shell is a bit thicker than other cases I've considered. In fact, it seems from the pictures like the shell is thick enough that the camera lens is actually recessed (instead of sticking out); I'm not 100% certain as it could just be an unintentional optical illusion. But if the camera lens is recessed that could be nice for protecting the lens a little bit. On the other hand though I do wonder about added weight and how that will feel (ie, if it will be noticeably heavier?). The Galaxy Note 8 weighs 11.7 ounces (338g) and I believe the official Samsung Book Cover weighs 3.2 ounces (90.72g), which makes for 14.9 ounces total (just shy of a 1lb, which seems like a decently light amount). The Amazon page indicates a weight of the MoKo at 5oz, which (if correct) is just a little heavier than the Samsung case, so hopefully not enough to be noticeable.
I don't see any mention of wake/sleep being supported. But I know you mentioned the other Moko case you tried did support wake/sleep, so hopefully this one does too!
I wonder how well the PU leather is going to hold up to folding the front cover flat against the back. It seems that would put a bit of stress on the part that will be bending around the case so I wouldn't be surprised to see cracking start rather quickly in that area (depending on the quality).
I just noticed in one of the pictures (the one for the white color, where a hand is holding the case in the air, demonstrating the magnets holding the stand in a triangle) that the GN8 is popping out of the case a little (in the bottom right of the picture). Hopefully that was just an oversight on their part as they were swapping out cases for the pictures, and not actually indicative of a loose fit. Pictures of the other colors appear to be fitting snugly in those same poses.
I look forward to your next review! I think I'm down to considering the above Moko and the Poetic Slimline (mentioned by someone else). I'll keep my fingers crossed that this Moko will be significantly better than the other one you reviewed! :fingers-crossed:

Hey, that's great to hear--this case really sounds promising!
I have one of these as well. I got a light blue one. I really like it except for the lack of magnets. I WANT sleep wake and would like for it to stay in place. Also I found that if I put it in my bag and it is kind of full it will turn the screen on and run the battery down.
Thats total crap if sellers are saying these things are "smart wake" when they aren't. I was hoping mine would arrive soon, but if it isn't going to work then looks like I'll be looking elsewhere.

and it is a major disappointment - totally agree with OP. But, does anyone know exactly where the magnet should go? It should be possible to attach a slim, rubberized magnetic on the case in a discrete manner so as not to make the case totally ugly but yet turn on the Note?

I think from some videos I saw (a few weeks ago) of the official Samsung Book Cover case that it seemed like the magnet must be somewhere on the left side as the wake/sleep seemed to be triggered by movement on the left side as opposed to the right side being lifted (which perhaps might be done in order avoid errant wake/sleep events since the right side can slide around some on some cases?). My guess is that the magnet would be somewhere within the bezel area and not under the screen proper. The reason being is that the Wacom technology works in part through electromagnetic fields (if I'm remembering correctly) and I would imagine that a wake/sleep magnet would somehow complicate that. So if you have a magnet to experiment with you could try running it around the bezel (starting with the left side) and see if you can trigger the wake/sleep. If it were me I'd start in the middle of the left bezel (when in portrait orientation).
If you don't have a magnet on hand you could also try various metal objects that are capable of carrying a magnetic charge as some technology works by responding the disruption/change of a magnetic field, which doesn't actually require another magnet, but just an object with enough of a hint of its own natural field to cause a change (I believe this is how some stoplights work here in the US, where there are wires in the ground to notify the stoplight a car is waiting, because the car disrupts/changes the electromagnetic field of the wire). I'm not totally sure if this principal can work on this small of a scale or not, but it could be worth a shot for some limited experiments.

Yea I thought so too when I ordered. If it's the KLD you ordered, I can definitely confirm that it doesn't support that function. I FINALLY got my sale disputed
Update
Even though I didn't like this case, I wanted to use it because it was slim. So while I waited for the Moko Shell (which I use now) I used the KLD everday for a solid week.
3 more things I've noticed that makes it even worse!
1- extended use with the cover as a stand eventually makes the cover pop up and as far as I've seen, it hasn't been able to flatten back out properly
2- Because this case lacks the sleep/wake function, you have to turn on the tablet with either the power button (or home). Unfortunately, I guess KLD really wanted to add that protection there- so there's a bezel above the power button- but this makes pressing the volume & power button a lot more difficult!
3- Finally, folding the cover back is also a problem. The stitching for the cover looks nice but when it's folded, it makes the tablet poof up (notice the rather big gap in the folded area- not present on other cases). Writing on the tablet with the cover folded back causes a "bouncy" feel.

Unfortunately, I ordered the KLD case a few days before reading this thread. It seems nice enough. Its the style I like. But I only popped my Note in and out of it. I didn't use it for any length of time. I had also ordered a Rock Mix case and that's what I'm using. It does have sleep/wake function. I filed a complaint with the KLD seller and he initially offered a full refund if I sent the case back (with him paying shipping) or $5.00 refund. He then sent another offer to refund me 100% and let me keep the case if I gave him positive feedback. I accidently accepted the $5.00 offer. That's fine though because I wanted to keep the case. It's stored away as a backup.
I know people has been talking about these items quite a bit, so here is my 2 bits as I just picked it up and put them on yesterday.
The Spigen Glass IS compatible with the case itself, as you can see in the pictures. The glass works just fine with all touch screen sensation and eventhough some say the glass cut out does not match, mine seems to do just fine. It is quite pricy though, at 35 bux from amazon, compared to the case for only 18, but you do get a discount from amazon or spigen for that matter, 15% off Glass .tR. total for both came out to be 47.73 with free shipping.
Now with the case, works fine, snug-fit, I've had otterbox defender with the rubber being so lose like it's over stretched and doesnt cover up the plastic case well, not on this one as the rubber actually goes on the inside of the PC case. I haven't tried any drop test or any of that...not gonna do that =P But if you read on amazon and see the reviews for 1 stars, all with similar problem. 1- Case too slipper ( to finely finished seeing the PC case is on the outside insted of TPU). 2 - heart rate sensor does not work.
1. The case is indeed too slipper to my experience after one night playing with it, nearly dropped it 3 times in 30 mins, and I was so sure I had good grip. On the sides or back of the case, there is really no rubber to increase friction except for the button replacement cutout, so unless you got real thick and strong callus, you ain't holding it by the sides.
2. Heart rate sensor worked for me just fine, I am assuming that people tend to press on it very hard, so the pressure cuts off the blood flow therefore does not scan. If you look at the cut out for flashlight and the sensor, on the buttom of it, there is a mini slope compared to the top. Sort of like a 40 degree cut out on bottom and 90 degree on top if you get what I mean...so finger tip and actually rest on the sensor just fine, may take a couple try to get used to it, but that's definitely not the cons of the case..
The case color is gun-metal....to be honest, kind of regret it now since its not as vibrant or as sleek as I hoped it'd be, so black would probably be the best way to go since the back cover does not have any speical design to be standing out with ligher colour choices...
Thanks for the review.
I ordered a this exact same case about 3 weeks ago, and Im still waiting for it to arrive.
I also have a iLoome Screenmate 9h screen protector on my phone, which came quickly after ordering but I have to say, that:
#1 Fitment was terrible
#2 Customer service is atrocious. I asked to return it, and they said I could return it only if I hadnt removed the adhesive protectors
I have this same case as well and I love it. I have big hands so maybe that helps but I find the finish to be fine, not as slippery as most people make it seem. I do not have one complaint about the case and received it in only 3 days after ordering it, although I'm in WA so not far from where it was shipped. I also bought 2 of the basic slim plastic Spiegen cases and the regular screen protector that came with it with this case with no isssues. I was also glad that it did not add too much bulk to the phone overall. It is definitely thicker than the basic case I got but I'm sure it would withstand some abuse pretty well.
I actually have this case in black and I really like it. After seeing your pictures I may pick up the gunmetal finish one day as well. I haven't tried a drop test with it but I believe it should be pretty good possible comparable to the otterbox commuter as far as drop protection goes if not as close as you can get while keeping the case slim. I'm about done buying cases for a while because I have this one, a black Otterbox Defender, and my element Recon CF should be here Friday or Saturday.
For $35 you don't get much. I have the UAG and I think that is more attractive. But ultimately I want the Janis leather.
have a look to my "Cases Comparison: Spigen SGP Tough Armor -vs- UAG Protective Aero GLXS5" here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729413
I definitively use the UAG... waiting to test it with wireless charging.

I am also waiting for my S5 wireless charging back to be shipped to test that out. Still waiting for the inserts from china at the moment.
Anyway, today, I took the the glass protector to the test...well...................that's just say it is not that "amazing" as it is advertised. If you look at amazon spigen's picture description...you see that they held a xacto to the screen, and I copied.
Well, result is fair I'd say, you can barely tell by the naked eye that there is any scratch on the screen, but if you hold it at a certain angle or with the right lightning, you can see "marks" on the glass, but it is not rough to the touch of finger tip; however, if you lightly glide your nail across the "marks"..."clump" "clump" "clump"....i really don't know what sound to use, but you should get the idea, it is scratched...I did a lot of cutting and swirving the blade around the glass, but there is about maybe less than 10 marks...so my guess is that it is tough, just not to the blade, but daily usage should never scratch it.
At this point, I am thinking it's probably the "layer" on top of the glass actually came off? whatever...I will live, so will it. I also got 2 cheap china version for replacement if I really need to anyway...just haven't try to see if they acutally align.
nice & helpful. I got this same setup. A black Spigen tough armor case with a Spigen "0.23mm rounded natural fit (smooth edge & light) tempered glass protector". It's a near perfect fit on the glass, just a fraction to small imho. There is a small groove around the outer edge of the glass, inside the inner edge of the case. just enough to collect some dust. but really not that bad. I had a cheapo quality case and plastic screen cover from best buy the first couple of days. this setup is much much nicer. i think maybe I would go with a thinner option than .23mm if I had to do this again. other than that I would recommend this for sure. it is nice quality. and I love how easy it was to get the glass protector on there without getting air bubbles and so forth.

Initially I bought the gun-metal option and almost dropped the phone a few times with that case. I then bought the black option and returned the gun-metal. The grip with the black option is much better with the soft feel coating..

Hmm....nice...I didn't know that there was a difference in the material they used. I thought it was just different paint, but I live in canada anyway, so for me to return and get a new one is not worth the hassle. I'll stick to this for now, until I get the OEM wireless cover anyway.
So I have received the Itian wireless charging adapter and the wireless charging pad today. Time to do some feed back.
First to describe the picture attached.
1. Wireless receiver from Itian.
2. Wireless charging pad from itian.
3. Wireless charging pad from aliexpress.
4. Wireless charging pad from Nokia DT-900.
First, the adapter, is not thin by all means, I reckon the OEM cover will also be made thicker like the S4, while maintaining it's waterproof ability, bigger rubber ring I suppose. If you were to use these ones, it will get caught in between the rubber gasket; therefore, making your phone IP67 non-existing. It is also harder to close on that one side of the case, render that you can still close it, but over time I would assume the plastic to actually bent, and when you remove the charging adapter, the cover will probably not close properly to be IP67 ready.
Now, this post is not here to say whether the different brand of pad works or not, at a inital test, they all work on a S4 with OEM back with the DT-900 at best performance, but I am posting more related to whether they work with the Spigen Touch Armor or NOT. From now on, review is based on Itian adapter in phone and phone is Spigen TA case.
The Itian pad takes a significantly longer time to be recognized by the phone. Phone does not pick up the wireless signal for at least 5 seconds, while Ali takes about 3 seconds and Nokia tops it by about 1 second. If the same receiver works on all 3 pads, it seems to me that Itian simply does not have enough coil to produce strong enough waves, and hence charging speed will also be significantly slower than the others...? Throughout the charging process, due to the weak signal, itian has start and stop the charging process so many times that the pad eventually comes to a halt of error, LED light flashing blue and red simultaneously. ( I hope neither my phone nor the pad is damaged during this event...)
Ali seems to just having a hard time to align properly, seems the coil is strong, but small, so the phone could be disconnected simply by the slightest wrong angle. Meanwhile, Nokia has the smallest and thickest pad among all, but when you place the phone on top ( this is the only pad that is acutally smaller than the phone, for what I have anyway) it not only picks up right away, and you really have no problem in charging speed issue nor alignment issue.
Ali one may seems strong but the broadcast range seems to be small, while Itian is about in the middle of no where, for cheap pads anyway. Nokia seems to win out-right in this one, charges just fine with or without the case.
To sum it up, DT-900 cost me 25 bux, and the others both cost me about 10~15 depending on seller and shipping cost. All in all, I suggest throw in double of your budget from getting a cheap no name to affordable brand name will save you the trouble getting a new case or replacing damaged battery or adapter.
My question is. Is the oem wireless cover gonna be released any time sooner? I'm afraid that will make impossible to use this covers. My other question is anyone bought already a fake cover? What's the difference?

I could not find any related publication on when it will acutally be released, but you can pre-order them anywhere from samsung to amazon and other cellular websites. I heard someone once said that Atnt store already carries it? doubt it tho. I have preordered mine from amazon at the same price that samsung sells, but samsung offers free tectiles to come with theirs. Some other sites has boasted their selling price which is kind of stupid to my opinion.
EDIT, just found this online, not official, just annoucement from a retailer.
"This morning B&H Photo places put a date on the Galaxy S5 wireless charging back, with shipments expected to start on May 10th. Users can pre-order the Galaxy S5 wireless charging cover from this well-known retailer and could see the back arrive before the middle of the month."
Thank you for your response. I'm heading to a Samsung store tomorrow just to check if they have in there or if they say the same thing about the day. Because I already saw in the forum that some people have the back cover and it's a little bulky. And I can't use the phone without a protective cover. Hope that it's compatible with spigen line
I went to a Samsung official store on London and they don't have any wireless covers. But if I go to Amazon and search there's a store that has them on stock. So on Monday I'm going to buy one.

On amazon.com. it says ship within 2 to 4 month, which is where I placed my order, but I don't think they have them in stock yet. I would assume Samsung stores to have them before anyone else to make the best profit for themselves. Some random purchasers have made comments among different websites about them picking one up already from the mobile stores, which I highly doubt...
I went to a Rogers store in canada, the guy there said he didn't even heard anything about it, he did NOT know such thing exists....so go figure.

Judging from the size of the cutout on the charging port, it does not look as if larger, "fat headed" aftermarket chargers will fit.The reason I mention this is because I just ordered this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GDESF1I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1H9NMCPZH97BO) 15 ft charging cable. Reviewers have mentioned that this cable does not work with their case on, and you have almost confirmed that for me. Thank you sir/ma'am!

Looking at the picture of your link, seems like you have purchased a standard USB 3.0 cord of which should be the same size on both end compared to standard USB plug for PC. I've attached a picture with my own USB 3 cord, WD brand for my external drive, it is round edged by a little fatter in the height wise, decimal mm difference. I have attached picture with dimention in CM along the post. It works perfectly with my case when I plug it in, so you might still be able to use it. The front rubber part of the case design is "loose" for the ease of use of the finger print scanner, so that is "movable" so to speak.
PS. Sir is fine =P
Now adays, people tend to use more wireless charging to save the hassel of plugging it and pulling out, it eventually wears out the charging port. On top of that, because of the waterproof cover, after you put on the case, it makes it even harder to open the cover if you have absolutely no nails like me. I keep the ruler by my table so I use the edge of the ruler to pry it open. Other than that, I rarely use the port anymore. Suggest in investing in a decent wireless charger and a charging back for rougly 50 dollars, or go with ebay for a 15 dollars all inclusive (less quality).

I too brought the Spigen 0.23 mm glass protector, and with in one week it had completey cracked acorss the width of the screen. These screens are not and hard, scratch prrof, as they claim. I contacted the customer services regarding their screen did not live up to the claims, and useless is a kind word to describe their customer services.
Dont get me wrong its a good product but dont think it worth all that money when, its not going to last that long. Im considering buying a new one.. but not sure yet, so currently have the bog standard screen protector which came with my Spigen case.

No, you are right. They are not as good as they claim to be, and in the free market, they are selling at a high price. Like I said, definitely not scratch proof as I have tested it, mine has not experience crack yet, but who knows. If you look online whether amazon or other spigen retails, lots of bad feedback of lining issue as well as customer service, especially customer service. They don't seem to replace or refund, nothing like that, as long as you have tried applying the glass, you are done. Even if it was manufacture defect, you still need to pay return shipping provided that you haven't remove the sticky 1 AND 2 side. Very minimal on defects, still has tho. I have ordered 2 cheap no-name brand from china on ebay as well as 2 cheap regular plastic film as back up. The phone will probably be gone before I really have to use up all 5 protectors.
I saw somewhere that there was a brand that provides life-time warranty replacement...I can't remember which one, someone here knows as it's on one of the threads. Do a search or someone can probably point it out for you. As far as where I stand, I got lots of cheap back up
