I purchased an original HTC car charger a few months ago. yesterday I noticed that it wasnt charging my phone anymore. The tree letters "HTC" did light up so it had power. I tried another USB cable and it did charge again, so probably I have a broken wire somewhere.
I bought the original HTC because I heard rumours of phones not being charged while using a lot of resources. It actually did charge but couldnt keep up with the power demand.
Can anyone conform this or can I use any universal USB cable?
(Sorry for my english) Can anyone help me? I have a nexus 4 with the charger IN broken and i try to charge the phone with Qi charger. I bought one from ebay (chinesse) but the phone does not detect it and the charger have only one led and neither turn on. My question is:
If my phone have 0% of charge i can use a Qi charger?
50 dlls is the normal price to repair the charger in?
Thanks to read it.
The charging circuit is all in one, everything is connected so if part of it is broke, the rest may not function properly. Get your usb plug repaired.
Sorry if this is the wrong board but I'm new to XDA :/
So one day I left my Versus touchtab to charge and then when I came back it wouldn't turn on. The problem is that sometimes when I plug it in the tablet would act as though it's charging but it wont so I run out of charge. My theory is that it didn't charge properly and it's completely out of juice. Please could anyone tell me why they think it's not working and how to fix the issue. Thanks in advance!
P.S It doesn't charge via micro USB and I've already been told to charge it via USB and it's actual charger many times!
Hello so i have been using OPO since a month now and suddenly it won't charge so i tried to charge it with a different chargers and they were working..
but here is the thing i don't understand..
the original charger with original cable which came with it is not charging my phone but the same charger is working with other phones so it means the charger is fine.. more over when i plug my samsung usb cable in my OPO charger then it starts to work again but i'm not receiving 2A charge from that cable..
please suggest me something guys..
btw i'm running latest cm update XNPH33R
anyone ? the charger seems to be working with every mobile.. please somebody suggest me something..
It's possible the charger is damaged and only capable of producing a certain percentage of it's original Amperage.
So if you plug in a phone that, say, takes only 1Amp it may work fine but it will break down when your OPO tries to actually use up 100% of the charging capacity.
Smartphones detect unstable/unsafe power sources and can reduce charging current or refuse to charge at all, which may be happening here. I had a defective charger too - in idle it was still providing 5.01V but it did not manage to handle any significant load.
Open a support ticket with OnePlus and have them replace it. In the mean time, I can recommend Anker's wall chargers but any charger will do.
I've successfully replaced the battery of the dock with a new one. It was showing some charge 36% instead of 0% and no more tablet draining, but it never charged! So now it's at 9%, red dot blinking, and I don't know how to fix it! Charging sign appears when plugged in and tablet charges trough the dock.
I've tried the cold boot and the trickle charge but I didn't see changes, maybe I've done something wrong?
What more can I do to make it charge again?
I thought it was the charger or the cable but for what I see the 40-pin connector has actually only the 4 pins (the usb signal) so I don't think I need another cable.

I don't believe it is a software issue. It might be a contact issue caused by yourself I think.
Firstly disconnect your tablet from the dock. Connect it with the charger and check if it is going to be charged. If so, your both charger and cable are OK.
Secondly check whether all contacts between the battery and the dock are closed correctly or not. Please follow backwards the sequence you used to taking out the old battery by yourself.
try and charge it with the official charging brick, or at least something that can put out 15V at 1.5A i had the same problem when using my tablet after a long time and only my tablet would get charged not the dock
Yes I'm charging it with the official charger, maybe it got some problems
I don't have a tester at the moment but I got a doubt. Is it possibile that the cable has 2 charging lines one for the tablet and one for the dock? Because I want to buy another charger but maybe it could be not compatible for charging also the dock.
I opened it again last weekend and there was nothing unplugged, everything was good.
