Change my HOS S4 for a Huawei Honor 2? - HTC One S

Someone offered me a change for a Huawei Honor 2, I'm not sure if I should change my HOS or not so any opinion will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I honestly don't know anything about that phone, never really was interested in Huawei but if you're looking to change phones and have T-Mobile I suggest you look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395389

Hm Well in that case just do your research on the phone. Read and watch reviews and then take it from there. I would suggest that you make sure the phones are at the least, evenly matched spec wise, there's no reason you should be downgrading when it comes to your device. Good luck.

The specs of the huawei are higher (quadcore, hd display, 2gb of ram...) but I'm afraid of the lack of development for the device, and I've never had a huawei so I'm not sure about the building quality.

Is this ture?

Hi all, I just watched some cheap phones and I saw this phone here: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/new-...re-GPS-GSM-3G-Android-Unlocked/738898065.html
Is this true? Does it really cost 11US with free shipping to my countery as it says? If this is no scam, than it's a miracle!
I heavily doubt its liability . I suggest you to not buy it .
Idk I am going to try to buy it or maybe any other phone in this list you see how cheap they are and getting selled by difficult sellers! http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...&CatId=5090301&SortType=price_asc&needQuery=y

Do not . It's a Chinese make and I am sure it won't have the given specs and no warranty either .

The price is very cheap and I also red the sellers feedback and most of them were positive, also googled the sellers company and it doesn't seem to be fake. Right?
Or this one http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Smal...dual-male-women-s-mobile-phone/730872155.html
Love quad-core phones btw.
I picked up two from the same seller. One HTC 8X lookalike and the one you linked.
Hey, if they are half decent I'll rip them apart and do something cool.

Thank you! For gods sake BUY A GOOD PHONE, not a cheap chinese brick. At least get a decent phone that could actually work.
Sent from my Galaxy S III
Bulk cost of the phone's parts don't always set the price. OP's link could possibly be a liquidation of assets, the already low cost of the phones themselves (probably parts cost of around $30-40, assuming they are using rockchip or allwinner chipsets) would need to be cut down if they need to move product to make room for new stuff.
more importantly, Alibaba/ Aliexpress is fairly risk-free for the buyer.
Description says dual core where title says quad. This is probably a dual core rock chip with a quad Mali GPU like most Android TV Sticks. Screen is 800x480 on a 4.4"... but supposedly has Bluetooth.
I've been around the block with these Chinese products and while it may work, expect a slow and buggy experience. I'm sure it won't support all the needed cell frequencies and dropping connections left and right. For $11 though it may be fun to just play with. Looks like the default OS is MIUI which is kinda cool.
Expect lots of Chinese apps and without root... Your stuck with them.

Nexus 4 is more expensive than one s.
The S3 (c2) isnt THAT bad. Its nothing wrong with it performance-wise.
But the custom rom scene is terrible for it, and its **** compared to the One S S4.
Try to get a hold of an S4 device, its so much better than S3. But if theres no way for you to get an S4, the S3 is still a good device if you can live without a bunch of custom roms etc.

Check out HTC's website for pictures, and make sure the phone you buy looks just like the pictures. I am not sure what color you would get, but the design of the device should be the same. If you can remove the back and access the battery, than its a knock-off.

I know all of the review for htc one s..and pictures with him. I want to know something else...i don`t know how to check the imei and all of this stuff.
The IMEI can be checked from system settings<about phone<status. If you are trying to determine is this phone has been reported stolen or something like that, you would probably have to contact the carrier and give them the IMEI number and ask them if the phone is been reported stolen. Of course I don't know if this is even possible with a Romania carrier, thats something you would have to call them about.

Yeah, Nexus 4 price in Romania (in retail stores) is around 500+ euros, but still I've got my One S (Ville, S4) with ~400$, you can get S4 in Romania, you just have to search a bit. There are new ones (online stores) ~500$ and SH ones around 350-400$ with s4 processor. Just keep looking, you'll find a bunch of them

There will be quite a difference when playing games, multitasking etc.
like usaff22 said, there's quite a difference when using CPU intensive apps, IMHO S4 is the fastest processor available when comparing core to core performance and keeping in mind that ville and ville c2 have the same price, i would say: keep looking. But if you're not that mad about processor power, s3 will do just fine.

You probably wont notice much of a big difference, unless you got both an S3 and S4 in hand - then the differences become clear, and it is a rather big difference.
So, as long as you stay away from S4 the S3 will seem very fast, but once you compare it to an S4, the S3 will seem extremely slow and you will curse yourself for not getting an S4

You'll want to wait. Unfortunately. BLU has been very reticent about uploading source, which is about the only thing at the moment that's going to expedite development efforts. We were lucky to get root and Xposed, but I don't have tons of confidence we'll be seeing roms anytime soon.
I mean that with the utmost respect to the devs currently working on this device, but I'm sure you'd concur it's tedious work.

Yea, I would think being BLU's flagship (and the fact they do have a dedicated system for distributing source) they'll eventually do it, but I dislike the lack of transparency when they technically needed to have that done from day 1.
I'm frequently tempted to sell my BLU and invest in a Nexus, but I don't like Huawei and I don't want to keep answering "What's a BLU?"

It's kinda hard to match the pure xl hardware to price ratio, and that's what I was looking at. Usually a $500 phone is out of my reach but it's getting kinda hard to resist since there's not so many affordable mid/high range reliable phones out here anymore. I mean I don't have nothing against my alcatel idol 3, I like it, it's just Im not exactly in love with it... And the only reason I got it is because I couldn't afford the pure xl and it was a "I need a phone quick" kinda thing.
Buying phones is always a struggle for me.

The Pure XL is ballin' specs wise, and it should get support at some point. However, MediaTek is notorious for being anti-GPL.
If you're looking for a decent cost and good phone, many of my coworkers have a OnePlus One, and all things considered I still think it's one of the best buys on the market.

I moved to the Pure XL from a OnePlus One. Didn't consider the OnePlus 2 because it's the same size as the One - and the specs didn't change enough to justify moving to the 2. I like the Pure XLs larger size. Would be nice if Blu would at least upgrade to Android 6.

Never buy anything that is Huawei, they are made with cheap Chinese hardware and many nations recognize Huawei devices as a security risk due to the fact that Chinese companies are known for manipulating code to steal your personal information. ZTE is another brand to stay away from.
I recommend you buy non-Chinese Qualcomm based devices.
MTK devices have decent specs at decent prices but the hardware is low quality and cheaply made.
Spreadtrum devices are also cheaply built.

Yes, it's quite a rabbit whole, be mindful that this also applies to just about any Chinese manufactured software and hardware. There are so many wholes that it is best to trust none of them. Especially apps built in China(Kingroot is a prime example), it's hard to say which are legit or not, it's best to avoid them all, just to be safe.
