I just flashed leak 3 on my A2 and installed BMM. I also installed a custom ROM on system3 but, when I try booting on it, it says CustomerID error. I backed up my CID before installing the ROM, should I restore it now?

I restored it and I no longer get that error. Thanks for that. The custom rom still doesn't work tho. It just goes to a black screen. The ROM si mokee RC4. Any ideas why that might happen?

Ok so I've had it with my phone lagging, I'm running aosp 4.1 JR00L. Is 4.2 any better?
I've been only hearing good things about rasbean and trinity kernal, so can somebody please link me to it because I can't find it in the developer section.
If I don't like rasbean then can I just download cm from their website and flash cm7/cm9 (I don't have to flash any other stuff like gaps, or a new kernal do I?)
I appreciate the help.
here is the link of rasbeanjelly
http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=rasbeanjelly&device=crespo
if you flash cm7 or cm9 you'll have to flash gapps.
How do you flash your roms? And what kernel do you use? Try running bedalus kernel as it has bigmem. This can reduce lag as well.
And you'll definitely like rasbeanjelly with trinity kernel.
Rom: see above link
Trinity Kernel: www.derkernel.com
Bedalus kernel: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AntDDKv-lS6IdEt6NWVkX01vNmpfbEh4MHo4eDRCbXc (choose 6.2 for any rom)

has been nothing but butter for me with great battery life.

@noloukos thanks for the link but I decided to go slim instead
@kwibis I flash my roms according to this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522827) and normally use the kernal included w/ the rom \
@chappy824 I've tried matr1x numerous times, but things get choppy, my phone seams to not like it.
Anyway, I gave aosp strawberry a run and it was ok but now I have slim a run and it has been very very smooth, I mean 0 lag.
:good:Thanks for the help, but I think slim is the rom for me

Hi,
I'm a slim user also....
make a backup ASAP before u clog it with all ur apps.
And when lag happen(eventually it will), try different kernels since every phone is moody on what kernel it accepts.
Good luck

try apps like goomanager, rom toolbox pro or rom manager they check automatically for updates for your installed rom and all the compatible roms for your device

So does the incorporated one. It is just totally functional yet. It will not just reboot and install. You have to download the update and flash like usual.

This is probably the most silly question ever, but... are gapps included in the cm10 zip? (from official cm site)
I feel so stupid that i ask it, but i cant find any answer on that... i am a noob...
I also have 2 more questions.
1) Should I flash the nightly or the stable build?
2) Which way is safer: with rom manager or manually with cwm recovery?

These answers can be found pretty easily.
Gapps not included.
http://goo.im/gapps
1) Depends. Do you want to flash and never really bother again? Stable. Want the latest features all the time? Nightly. Later has more chance of having bugs.
2) Both way work just fine. Recommend doing it manually via CWM though.

So, all I need to do is to flash the gapps after flashing cm10? Seems easy... But... Can i flash 4.2 gapps on cm10 stable rom?
And finally, if something goes wrong and my phone doesn't boot, will it work again after restoring my previous Stock rom?

Yes, that's all you need to do.
I wouldn't recommend flashing 4.2 gapps over CM10 stable.
Yes it will work again if you restore your nandroid backup. The Nexus S is next to impossible to brick. If you have any issue just ask here before going further and people can help you.

Yesterday I flashed CM10 stable, the ROM is fantastic but I noticed that the auto rotate doesn't work. Is it a known bug of the ROM or did I miss something?

i have a samsung gt p3100 rooted, still on ICS. i've tried the cyanogenmod 10.1.2, it works okey, but i get a distorted screen before the cyanogenmod animation appears.
how do we fix this?
do i need to flash a jb bootloader after flashing cyanogenmod based on jellybean? or can i just leave my ics bootloader untouched? will that solved issues about the bootscreen being distorted?
just a follow up, if i flash a jb bootloader, will that still work if i switch back to stock ics?
thanks
Bootloader is not divided like ics or jb that is device specific so dont touch bootloader.. try other things..

There is no bootloader in Samsung devices. I think your problem is kernel-related.

Hey all, after some searching, I have to do 2 things: 1) admit some ignorance, 2) get some help.
Currently I am running OSE 4.3.1 with 3.4.66cm kernel. I REALLY want to put the KT747 kernel in. So is this even possible? I have tried several times, following instructions to the letter, and it just hangs on the KT boot image forever. Oh, the ignorance is knowing if this is ASOP or TW. Thanks for any and all help.

Are you flashing the correct kernel build, 4.3 jellybean aosp? And what is the build date of the OSE ROM? It could be a compatibility issue. Are you doing any wipes when flashing the kernel?
I'm waiting for Android Milky Way

I am on OSE build 10/21, and I tried the KT747-AOSP-JB-MR2-3.4-VZW-10-11-2013, then the KT747-AOSP-JB-MR2-3.4-VZW-11-04-2013.
both of them got to KT boot image and just hung there. I have the KT747 in another ROM (4.1.2) and love to have in with ROM, perfect marriage I think

Yep, even tried a full data wipe, cache, & Delvick withou any luck.

It happened with all kitkat roms i have installed on my p5100 (omni , mokki, cm , sonic hd )
I think that tab 2 10.1 hardware is not good enough to run kitkat animation on this resolution or screen size

Nope, you should not need to install the stock ROM if the current ROM is stable enough for you to download the updated recovery. Once you have it downloaded, update the recovery. Then maybe do a complete wipe/factory reset from the recovery, then reinstall CM 11 (or any other) fresh.
