Hi there,
I am considering buying the N7105. I would prefer to have LTE. But how well supported by the community (CM etc) is N7105 compared to N7100?

I suggest you read the XDA rules & regulations as well as where the right place to post first before buying

I guess you feel that I am violating rules & regulations and that I have posted in the wrong place?
If so, could you be more specific as to the rules I am violating and the correct place to post? I have already read the rules and considered where to post, but maybe I have missed something that you could clarify for me.
Thanks in advance.
Why don't you read? http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?a=81

Agree with above answers. You could have post the questions in the General Discussion box instead.
Anyway, about your question, I believe N7100 has a much broader cummunity support. The number of threads and posts in XDA among N7100 and N7105 is a prime indicator. By today, the N7100 box 76,565 posts, while N7100 has 9,796.
There you have it !
N7100 wins.
I guess I fail to see why my post is off topic here, but thanks for your answers anyway.
I posted in this forum because it is the forum for community support (i.e. after market custom ROMS) for the N7100. Where but in this forum would people better know about community support for these two models? Do you think I would have gotten more or more relevant answers by posting in any other forum?
Thanks anyway. The N7100 does seem to be much more supported, as I suspected. I guess I will have to choose between community support and 4G/LTE support.

For starters your posting in the development section, this isnt a develoment related question. Even sonthere is a Q&A section where your question would be more welcomed..
Tbf I yhink your question would be better answered by the n7105 owners. The n7100 is the international version - the most people have this model and have no reason to be checking the 7105 forums whereas the 7105 community may check the 7100 forums. Thats just my opinion, I maybe wrong.

I understand your points, but my thinking was/is something like this:
It _has_ something to do with development. I am basically asking if I will have less support from community developers if I want 4G/LTE. It would be interesting for me to know the two phones are largely identical and can share ROMs and just differ on the modem/radio ROM parts which maybe can be flashed separately, or if the two phones are too different for this and I will have to settle for whatever the kind ROM developers would make for the N7105, for example.
But of course you are right that N7105 owners might also have some relevant answers to my question.

As far as roms are concerned, here is a quick list.
It's easy to see the difference.

What is the most stable custom rom that is ics 4.0. Im using ressurection 9.3 and everything works after screwing around with bits and pieces but everything works. Anybody know any others??
The answer to this question varies greatly for each device. The availability of display drivers, number of devs working, saturation of phone in the marking (ie. demand for a ROM) all play huge factors, not to mention kernels.
This would be a better question in your device's development forumn (or at least the device's general forumn)

Definitely the device's Q&A (if it has one), NOT development. Questions don't belong in the dev forums, and we don't want to start him off with bad habits, do we?
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions &

We were all noobs once
General forums are for discussion, Q&A forums are for questions and development forums are for people to release software.
This is a good video for new members as it covers a lot of things that long-standing members wish everyone knew.

You have not mentione your Device -make /model, i have tested most of the ICS version available on internte for my SGS i9000 and found that "MyICS Ultimate" is the most stable and fast ROM with best battery backup. Recommended - if you have SGS i9000.
Thanks

I can't find much support for the Relay I just picked up, but for some reason I was under the impression it's the same phone as the Blaze, other than the addition of the physical keyboard. Is this the case? Somehow I doubt it is going to be that simple.......
Thanks

I reposted in the General section as indicated. Didn't know where to post because the question was technical and surrounded my desire to put Android on the phone...Should I have deleted from here?
Too new to post in dev forum, but wanted to note that in build two my exchange calendar synced without issue. In build one it would not do so. Great ROM. Appreciate the work.

Brad I dont know what made you feel that, and I think I have registered myself to XDA site to get answers for my question and thats the main objective of this site to help other Android users. You may be technically smart with Android and I'm not so I will ask questions and I'm not concerned about the 10 posts or whatever. Secondly I installed PACman ROM but Whats app is not functioning,so I you are a senior member kindly help, it will be appreciated.

Sahil

Hi,
Please ask your question here.
It is a general Question and Answer thread in the Galaxy R forum. Any of your questions about the Galaxy R should go into its Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum, or into the thread I have indicated.
Cheers

Hi,
Please try and post into the correct section or at least into the General section for your device. I don't see how the ROM developer will ever find this thread, especially since you don't mention which device it is for. Seeing how you now have your 10 posts and can post into Dev threads, be a little bit careful with posts like this one. In some Development threads it will be OK as you are confirming that a previously broken feature is now fixed, but in other Development threads it may be considered out of bounds -especially if there is a change log indicating the fix. You will have to look at what's being posted, how it is being received and then trust your judgement.
Cheers

Thread closed because it has run its course.
First of all i would like to say hello to everyone here in the forums, and to thanks the developers helping us to have better devices
I own a galaxy tab 3 7 t211 and I am a quite experienced USER. Now I'm running stock KK rooted.
So i would like to post some reports and feedbacks about mods and roms but the forum says:
New members (those with fewer than 10 posts) are not permitted to post to development-related forums.
I don't like to spam, so I will not post 10 useless discussions ofcourse. But it would be nice to have access to the devs forum anyway.
Don't know if it's possible. If not, nevermind...
Thanks and keep the good work up.
I think you will have to search some off-topic threads to bypass your 10 post restriction

Or don't try to bypass the 10 post rule. The rules are here to support and safeguard the forums, not inconveniences put in place for new users.
To the op, thanks for not wanting to bypass the 10 post rule by spamming the message boards. Unfortunately I don't think it is possible to be allowed to post without the mandatory 10 posts. may I recommend you see if the threads you would like to contribute too have a Q&A thread in its correct section you can post too instead? Or help out in your general/Q&A section with some less experienced users, it won't take long to get up to 10 I assure you
If your bug reports are for critical bugs, or undiscovered issues then you can pm me with what you want to say, all relevant logcats and the forum thread intended and I will post for you.

You can reply to threads in the Development forums, but you cannot create a new thread in the Development forums until you have 50 posts.
Did you try to reply to a thread, or post a new one? Which subforum forum was it?
